Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Vexen smirked, summoning his shield to his hand and preparing for a battle. One that wouldn't do as much damage as the others. "I believe so," he replied, his tone calm and collected, but also amused. Namine could try all she wanted, but she wouldn't defeat Vexen.

Unaware of the fight that was just beginning on the beach, Xion started regaining a sense of consciousness. The first thing that she became aware of was the awful pounding in her head. A soft groan left her lips as she lifted a hand to her head, eyebrows furrowed slightly. Where am I? And what happened? Everything was fuzzy in her mind.
Riku hadn't let Xion out of his sight since he brought her back to Lightning's, and it hadn't changed when Namine left. He was in a corner of the room, his back against the wall as he stared at the couch. When he heard the groan and caught the movement, his eyes narrowed. "Welcome back," he said, though his voice was low and firm but still calm and collected. Xion had her heart crushed, but it didn't mean she wasn't the same monster everyone had come to know.

Xion's eyes opened more quickly than they should have, a move she instantly regretted when her headache intensified. Still, she kept a light grip on her head as she sat up a little bit. She was on a couch, in somebody's living room. And that voice was one that she knew. "Riku?" She bit down on her lip to hold back another grunt as she opened her eyes again and looked over, seeing his hard expression. "What happened?"
Riku's eyebrows furrowed a little more at the question. "You don't remember," he said, stating what he and Roxas were clearly thinking. He glanced over at the blond that remained still in the nearby chair, his blue eyes glued to Xion's form. He didn't seem too surprised that Xion didn't remember anything, though Riku understood after a brief moment of thinking it over himself. Xion had her heart crushed, and that was enough to remove anyone's memory.

Xion shut her eyes, trying to think despite the headache. It's not that, she thought in response to Riku. It's that...Something happened...The memory is still there, I know it is. When it hit her, a loud gasp left her lips. "What did I do?!" she cried immediately, opening her panicked eyes and looking to Riku. "The last thing I remember, I was about to--" She was about to kill Namine. The blonde wasn't anywhere in this room, either. Did I follow through?!
"Kill Namine," Roxas finished for the raven-haired girl, his eyes resting on his former best friend's figure. Xion seemed like she was confused, but it could have just been an act. Even Roxas knew that. That was why he didn't let his guard down, and neither did Riku.

A shaky breath left Xion's lips as she turned to look at Roxas. His eyes were stone-hard, not that she was surprised. "I didn't do it, did I?" she asked weakly, a faint tremble in her voice. She wasn't trying to put on an act for Riku and Roxas; she was sincere for the first time since she was brought back to life. Namine's spell made her turn back into her normal self.
Roxas shook his head, eyes still hard as he looked at Xion. His best friend nearly killed his girlfriend. Destiny had a strange way of messing with his life, but he hoped that things changed for the better soon enough. The fact that Xion was acting as she normally would, back when she was with him in the Organization, helped him to see that maybe it would happen.

Xion felt a weight instantly taken off her shoulders. She exhaled a breath, relief evident on her expression. Thank goodness, she thought to herself, though the words she spoke to Riku and Roxas were completely different. "I'm so sorry," she said hoarsely. "I didn't mean...But...It doesn't matter. I'll take responsibility for my actions." It wasn't completely her fault, but she wouldn't make excuses.
"You're right," Riku said, pushing himself away from the wall as he started towards Xion. "You will." He wasn't sure what exactly they would do with Xion at that moment, but she would be stuck under their watch for a while. She wasn't leaving until they gave her permission.

Xion lifted her startled blue eyes to Riku. She earned the right to be on his bad side, however terrifying that was. "What do you want me to do?" she asked softly, forcing herself to be less shaky. "You want me out of your lives forever, right?" She'd understand. She wasn't herself until now, but she'd still accept responsibility for everything she did when she wasn't quite sane.
"Unfortunately, that can't happen," Riku said, stopping a foot from Xion as he gazed down at her. "We can't trust that you won't come back and hurt Namine again, or anyone else. You're staying with us, until we're sure that you're who you used to be." He wouldn't be the judge of that, though. Roxas would be.

Xion's eyes lowered to her lap. "Right, of course," she said softly. That made sense. But... "It'd be a lot easier to just put an end to me, though," she added in the same tone. I deserve it. She purposely didn't add on those words, not looking for pity. Whatever punishment was inflicted on her, she deserved it.
"No," Roxas said instantly, though he had to admit that it was a little too quickly. The look Riku gave him proved as much, and he glanced at the older young man before his gaze darted to the girl on the couch. They couldn't put an end to Xion... "T-that'd be too easy," he reasoned, or at least tried.

Xion didn't catch onto any other meaning in Roxas's tone, unable to with the shock of being returned to normal. Instead, she only nodded faintly. "Alright. I'll take whatever you guys throw at me. I won't leave until I'm repaid in full for what I did." She was guilty, after all, and felt accordingly.
Riku tore his eyes from Roxas to look at Xion, nodding slightly. "The first thing you'll do is apologize to Namine," he stated. "We'll figure out what happens after that." Namine had a hand in the decision, after all; she was the main victim in Xion's pursuit for Roxas.

Xion nodded silently. She had the urge to do more than apologize; she wanted to beg at Namine's feet for forgiveness. She wanted, more than anything, to set things right. But she knew that it would be best not to rush things, and besides, she didn't deserve forgiveness for the things that she did.
Roxas gazed at Xion in the silence that followed, his eyebrows furrowing slightly. His eyes, however, were softer than before. No...It can't be, he thought in response to his curiosity. Xion wasn't the girl he fell in love with so many years ago. She couldn't be. But...what if Namine changed her when she crushed her heart? What if Xion was really back?

Lightning was walking away from Riku's home, having just fed Jasmine for him while he was still keeping an eye on Xion. She was sure that situation was under control. Her eyes darted to the side, landing on the beach. Colorful fireworks were shooting into the daylight sky. Nobody in their right mind shoots off fireworks in the middle of the day, she thought as her eyebrows furrowed. That must mean...Namine! That was a signal that she was in trouble; she was told to shoot them off whenever she needed help. She pulled her cellphone out of her pocket, texting Riku a quick message. "Fireworks. Beach."
Riku had been about to speak when his phone chimed, and he dug into his pocket to fish it out. Once he flipped it open and read the message, his head turned sharply to the window. It was then that he saw what Lightning was talking about. He ground his teeth together, a growl leaving his lips. "We've got trouble," he said, which caused Roxas to rise from his seat. "Beach. Now." Riku bent down slightly and grabbed Xion by the wrist, pulling her from the couch as he started toward the door. She would be coming with.

Xion felt herself getting dragged to her feet, not that she fought it. Her eyes also darted to the window. "That's Namine, isn't it?" she asked, eyes darting to Riku since he was the one who noticed trouble. It was either Namine or Lightning, the girl that Riku was smitten with. If it was Namine, Xion had a feeling that somebody was attacking, and who that somebody was.
Roxas was already out the door, having climbed over the chair and rushed to the front door by the time Riku had Xion to her feet. He stopped a few yards outside, having heard Xion's question when he had the same hunch. His heart skipped in fear, his feet instantly beginning to move as he made a run for the beach.

As Riku kept a grip on her wrist, Xion spoke despite her unanswered question. "It's Vexen, I know it," she said, eyes going up to Riku as he kept her with him. "He's here because of me." She had a hunch for why he was attacking Namine, too. From what she heard, Namine was able to do what Vexen did with her at the start: give fake personalities. Vexen was trying to recreate Xion to be a monster again, with Namine's help.
Riku ran, dragging Xion behind him as he tried to keep up with Roxas. "I don't find that so hard to believe," he commented lowly, frowning as he tried to match Roxas's speed. Of course, it wasn't really possible; he was Sora's Nobody, so he had the brunet's speed. Don't do anything stupid, he thought to the blond.
