Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine rolled to the side to avoid an attack, her ankles getting wet as she rose to her feet again and the ocean water came in. She had stopped the fireworks by now; she had to focus solely on the fight. As soon as she noticed things getting out of hand, she sent up a signal for help. All she could do was hope that somebody saw it, because Vexen was a tough opponent. She didn't think that she could beat him, despite how she did manage to get some well-aimed fire spells in.
Vexen instantly chuckled, moving his shield a little as he started to call upon a spell. "You're playing right into my hands, witch!" he cried, then sending a Blizzard spell toward the girl's feet. She stepped right into the water, thus giving him the chance to freeze her where she stood. Once she was immobilized, he could do his worst.

An alarmed squeak left Namine's lips as she rolled to the side, getting much wetter than she already was. I already know that! she wanted to shout. But this was where his attacks pushed her to. That was obviously his goal all along. She panted a breath, looking over to the side and seeing ice gathering at the place that she was standing just a few seconds ago.
Roxas raced to the beach, having followed a path. Luckily for him, it led him right to where Namine was. Vexen! he wanted to shout, but he couldn't find his voice, seeing the man about to shoot another Blizzard spell Namine's way. No! Roxas raced forward, moving quickly across the sand. He managed to get there just as Vexen released his spell, and Roxas summoned his Keyblades to his hand, crossing them as he stood in Namine's way. The ice collided with his Keyblades, also touching his skin. The cold caused him to grunt, his eyes narrowing as Vexen's grew in surprise.

Namine's eyes were wide from Roxas's sudden appearance, though she was grateful for his impeccable timing. She breathed heavily behind him, shifting her gaze from the back of his blond head to Vexen. The man had mocked her for summoning her friends, but it wasn't cowardliness that made Namine call for them. It was wisdom. Vexen tried to let her ego get to her so she fought alone, but she didn't fall into that trap. If she had, Vexen would have ended the fight within the next minute.

Vexen held his shield in front of him, watching as Roxas's Keyblades becamed glazed with a thin sheet of ice. "Number XIII," he called, only receiving a glare in response. "For once you have arrived at the opportune moment, something you neglected to do in the past."

"Shut up!" Roxas cried, swinging his Keyblades down at his sides. He was beyond angry, realizing how low Vexen had gone to get rid of Namine. Attacking her when she was alone.

"But still as feisty as ever, I see," Vexen concluded, smiling despite himself. "It seems Namine's call did not go unnoticed. But there isn't much you can do, XIII. The maiden is needed to fix the one you care so much for."

Xion, Roxas thought, blinking. But he grunted, his eyes narrowing once more. Xion didn't need any fixing; he could see that she was returning to who she once was, the Xion he knew in the past.

  • Author
"He's lying," Namine said, looking at Roxas even if his gaze was on Vexen. "Xion's herself again. Vexen manipulated her before to be cruel." So Vexen's definition of "fixing" really wasn't accurate. He just wanted Namine to redo what he did in the first place, but she refused to do that now.

"I know," Roxas said, glancing out of the corner of his eye as if to look behind him. "I saw it." He knew Xion was who she was--the person he first fell in love with. But the fact that Vexen made her so awful angered Roxas even more. "He'll pay."

Vexen simply smiled, though he did glance to the side when he saw another couple come into the scene. "Ah, and the puppet herself arrives," he commented. And with Riku pulling her along. Without my programming, she's helpless.

Xion stayed close to Riku, not that she had any other choice. He was still clinging to her wrist. "Do I have permission to beat him to a pulp?" she asked Riku lowly, hearing Vexen's comment. Vexen was responsible for a lot of harm, the hurt being performed by Xion for his sake. He would pay for using her for his schemes.
Riku was now standing on the beach, his hand still firmly wrapped around Xion's small wrist. "As long as you don't mind some help," he said in the same tone, looking at the man who had retrieved data from him so long ago to make a puppet out of him. Of course, he wouldn't be the only one helping; Roxas and Namine would too. But...where was Lightning? She texted him, so Riku expected her to be here already.

Namine glanced over to the side, seeing Xion summon her weapon. Out of habit, she felt a twinge of fear. It's not the same Xion, she told herself. She won't attack me. Her gaze went to Vexen again, and though she found the strength to continue fighting, she was glad that she was behind Roxas. She wasn't completely confident in her fighting abilities, since she had only fought in a few real battles.
Roxas grunted, sprinting forward just as Riku released Xion's wrist. "Vexen!" he roared in anger, approaching the man and swinging his Keyblades at him with all his might. The scientist managed to block them with his large shield, but that didn't stop Roxas. It never would. Vexen would pay for what he did!

Xion was smart enough to keep her distance, knowing that she didn't want to accidentally hurt anyone but Vexen. That was why she, like Namine, sent multiple fireballs at Vexen while he was blocking Roxas. It was his weakness, after all. With teamwork like this, that madman was sure to go down quickly enough.
Riku observed from a distance as Xion and Roxas took on Vexen, who was already weakened by their efforts. The silver-haired teen then turned his head, finding Namine. He ran in her direction, coming to a stop next to her as he casted a Cure spell over her. "Are you all right?" he asked above the battle cries. She hadn't looked severely wounded, but his big brother side was coming out again. He had to make sure she was okay.

Namine lowered her hand as she ceased with the fire spells, her eyes finding Riku when he cured her. "Yeah," she breathed with a small nod. She was okay, just very tired and wet. She hadn't rested at all since her fight with Xion, so she definitely needed to at least sit down after all this was over. Still, she wouldn't complain. She was glad to be alive.
Roxas rolled out of the way of a swipe from Vexen's shield, but he instantly went back in for an attack. He slid along the sand and swung at Vexen's legs, managing to trip the scientist up. "Xion!" he cried. Now was her chance, while Vexen was down!

Xion grunted, running the distance between her and the fight quickly. With a battle-cry, she jumped in the air and then came back down on Vexen. The Keyblade stabbed him as her raven hair danced in the wind, her eyes showing no mercy or amusement. Vexen made her his puppet; he manipulated her and turned her against the only people she ever cared about. He deserved death.
Roxas pushed himself to his feet, wincing at Vexen's harsh cry of pain. But the young man held no sympathy for him; as Vexen would have put it: Nobodies can't hold sympathy for anyone, especially Nobodies themselves. He watched as the man started to fade away, his eyes hard. Goodbye and good riddance.

Namine witnessed Xion pull back her weapon and step away before Vexen faded away completely. Thank goodness, she thought in relief. Now, Vexen wouldn't try and rope Namine into changing Xion again. The last thing Namine wanted was somebody chasing her around and trying to kill her all the time, like Xion had been.
Roxas took a small step away as his gaze lifted into the sky, watching as the last bit of Vexen faded away for good. His eyes then found the girl standing across from him, her hair on the opposite end of the color spectrum from Namine's. As worried as he was for his girlfriend, he couldn't neglect who helped him just now. Xion...are you really...?

Xion felt a gaze on her, and she realized then that she was still holding her Keyblade. Whoever was looking at her, they probably didn't want her holding a weapon with Namine nearby. She shook her head faintly in sadness as her weapon vanished. I can't believe Vexen was able to use me so easily, she thought as she stared at the ground. I'm a good puppet, I suppose.
Roxas nearly took a step toward Xion, but then he remembered who mattered more at that moment. The boy turned his head, locating the blonde beauty standing next to Riku. He dismissed his Keyblades and started toward her, wanting nothing more than to hold her. He could have lost her...

Namine felt the ocean water come in again, not that it mattered since she was already wet. She was only in to her ankles anyway. Movement caught her attention in front of her, so her eyes went to the young man who was coming over to her. It was then she realized that she was still holding onto the gunblade. No need for it now, she thought as she put it away, though her eyes stayed on Roxas.
Roxas approached Namine with calm footsteps, but once he was close enough, he wrapped his arms around her. He closed his eyes as the wind shifted Namine's hair to touch his face, but he didn't mind in the slightest. "Thank goodness you're all right," he whispered, not caring that Riku was right next to them. All that mattered was that Namine wasn't taken from him.

Namine shut her eyes, hugging Roxas back. She was aware she was getting him wet, but she was certain that he didn't care. "I'm just glad somebody saw my signal," she said, her voice equal in volume. She didn't know who saw the fireworks, but they must have seen them pretty quickly. Roxas arrived less than five minutes after she sent them up in the air.
