Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku frowned at that, the young man stepping away from the couple embracing. His eyes searched the beach for the person he loved, but he didn't see her anywhere. "Lightning..." he murmured. Where are you? She should have come running at the sight of the fireworks; she wouldn't just tell him and disregard it. Riku couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong...

Lightning jogged onto the beach, seeing the two blondes holding each other while Riku and Xion stood on the beach. Looks like the fight's over, she thought as she had an arm wrapped around her waist. Not surprised. She had been delayed from coming by another threat, but he hadn't bothered to stick around once Vexen was defeated.
Riku sensed movement behind him, and he turned to see the woman he loved making her way over. His eyebrows furrowed, however, when he saw how she was holding her waist. Riku started toward her at a pace slightly faster than his normal walking speed, the question in his eyes. What happened?

Light slowed herself down, feeling the question from Riku's gaze. But she had a question to ask first. "Everything's okay here?" she asked lowly, glancing past him once again. She wasn't sure what the deal was with Xion, but at least she wasn't attacking anyone. That was what Vexen was here for.
Riku nodded, slowing his pace until he stopped in front of Lightning. "Yeah," he answered softly, though his eyes darted to her waist. "What happened?" He lifted a hand to set on her arm, that way he could see the wound. Who caused it?

"Xigbar thought it'd be funny to ambush me while I was en route to this fight," Light said lowly, taking her arm away. There was a small pullet that was still in her side that she hadn't bothered to pull out simply because she wanted to make it here as quickly as possible to make sure things were alright. Besides, she wasn't severely wounded.
Riku blinked at the sight of one of Xigbar's bullets in Lightning's sides. "Light..." he said softly, his hand lingering above it. He wouldn't touch it, of course, but... Xigbar will pay for this, he silently vowed. He wasn't sure why Xigbar attacked Lightning, but Riku would get it out of him somehow.

"It's fine," Lightning said as she shook her head, though her tone held bitterness towards Xigbar. She was so sick of that name he used all the time for her, too. "Petals." That was a thought she shoved to the side. "No major damage done. He fled as soon as Vexen was killed."
Roxas still had his arms wrapped around Namine as he looked over at the other couple on the beach. His eyebrows furrowed. "They were working together," he assumed lowly. For whatever reason, Xigbar counted on Vexen to make things work. When they didn't, Xigbar took his chance to flee. Something was up.

"Of course," Lightning said without flinching. She already figured that out. "When they were messing with us, it was for Xigbar's sake. This time it was probably for Vexen's goal." Whatever it was, it involved Xion. Though Light missed out on the formal discussions about Vexen's connection to Xion, she pieced it all together on her own. It was easy since they already knew Xigbar's goal and Vexen was the only other person here just now.
Which was to get to Xion, Roxas guessed, since he hadn't heard the whole story. He was using Namine to get to her. "...Hey," he called, causing Riku to turn around. "I'll watch over Xion. You guys go figure out what's up." He wanted Namine by his side too, of course. Riku and Lightning had some stuff to figure out, so he would take the time to do his share of watching Xion.

Light lifted her gaze to Riku in silence, seeing Xion out of the corner of her eye. She was up for trying to solve this with Riku if he was willing to give up watching Xion for a little while. She knew he wanted to watch her a lot, but he could spare a little bit of time, right?
Riku felt a few pairs of eyes on him, and he met Roxas's with a small nod. "Alright," he agreed lowly. It couldn't hurt; he trusted Roxas with that much, at least. Thing was...was Namine comfortable with this? Xion did attack her recently...

Namine saw Riku's eyes come over to her and she knew what he was thinking. "We'll see you guys later," she said, that being her unclear answer to his question. She wasn't necessarily comfortable with Xion, but she didn't want to separate Riku and Lightning when there was no reason to other than her personal comfort. It's okay; you guys can go.
Riku nodded slightly before turning to look at Lightning. "Let's get that out first," he suggested, motioning to the bullet in her side with his hand. Once that was done, they would get going.

"We can do it once we get back to the house," Light said, lifting her eyes to Riku. She didn't really want to remove it here because she could tell that Namine was stressed and worried enough as it was. And though Lightning was surprised by it, Namine really started looking up to her as a role model. It was Lightning's pride that didn't want her to show pain.
Riku nodded once more before lifting a hand in slight wave to the blond couple, watching Roxas tilt his chin in response. The young man put his hand on Light's arm and started to guide her back to her home, where he would help tend to her wound before they left the Islands. He doubted Roxas and Namine would go back to the condo; if anything, they would stay on the beach or go back to Namine's apartment.

Light saw Namine wave faintly and Xion dip her head as the two of them headed away. It was no surprise to her that Riku was leading them to her apartment. The door was still wide open; apparently they had left in a hurry as soon as Riku had gotten her text message. Glad you had your phone on you, she thought to Riku as she stepped inside her home. It would have been awful if he didn't.
Once Lightning was inside, Riku shut the door behind him completely, something he neglected to do when he left before. He turned his attention back to Lightning, but only briefly, as he headed to the bathroom to fetch a washcloth to wipe off the blood that covered her side. He would cast a spell to heal her, of course, but that wouldn't get rid of the blood. He would do that himself.

While Riku headed to the bathroom, Light went to the kitchen. She didn't even need tweezers to get the bullet out now; it started working itself out more when she walked. Stopping in front of the sink, she looked down and grasped the bullet with her thumb and index finger. As soon as she was certain she had a good grip on it, she gritted her teeth and started moving it around so she could pull it out easier. Hate Xigbar, she thought as she fought the urge to swear.
Riku dampened the cloth with warm water before ringing out the excess. His thoughts were everywhere as he did this, even in a small amount of time. How could he not have sensed something wrong earlier? Had his senses been so clouded because he was watching Xion so closely? The young man shook his head as he left the bathroom, heading down the hall. When he saw Lightning in the kitchen, he entered it as well, though he made sure to give her some space so she could get the bullet out.

Light tugged out the bullet, a muffled grunt coming from her lips. She tossed the bullet in the trash can without looking, the bullet landing perfectly in it as she lifted her shirt to look at the wound that started bleeding again. Not too bad, she thought, though she grimaced because she was wounded in the first place.
Riku took the opportunity offered to him, Lightning's shirt lifted to where he could see the wound and easily heal it. He stepped closer to Light and gently placed his hand next to the wound, calling to a Cure spell. It took effect in seconds, the injury slowly closing up before his and Lightning's eyes.

Lightning lifted her gaze from Riku's hand to his eyes. Thanks, she silently communicated. She lifted her hand and set it on top of Riku's, though there wasn't a specific reason for him to keep his hand there. It was just her way of saying that she appreciated him.
Riku lifted his gaze from Lightning's hand to her eyes, seeing the message within them. "So, did you teach him a lesson?" he asked, his voice low in the quiet home. He lifted his free hand to Lightning's side, starting to gently wipe at the blood as he waited for his answer.
