Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku couldn't help but smirk. "I've dealt with worse," he acknowledged lowly. His time with Maleficent years ago was awful, and so were the meals. He could handle eggs; they were healthier than anything he received with the witch.

"If you're referring to one of my failed meals in the past, then you won't get any eggs," Light said, setting a hand on her hip as she arched a brow at Riku. She wasn't a terrific cook, but at least she could make some things. There was only one occasion that she could think of where her meal turned out terrible.
Riku shook his head. He wasn't referring to Lightning's cooking at all. Maybe his smirk made Lightning think that way, but he would never truly insult her cooking. It was almost as good as his, though Serah beat them both.

"Not a very convincing response," Lightning piped, the food forgotten for now. Riku only shaking his head and remaining silent could have given the impression that he was lying, not that she cared much. Sure, she hated the idea of him lying, but this was a lighthearted situation. She knew not to take things too seriously.
Riku shrugged. "Your cooking's not as good as mine, I suppose," he quipped, his smirk still in tact. He lifted an eyebrow, challenging Lightning to respond to that. He knew it would tick her off, playfully of course. That was why he did it.

Light scowled, stepping forward so that she was right in front of Riku. "Well then," she said lowly. "You can make dinner." If he thought he was that good of a cook, then he could prepare dinner for the two of them. Of course, she wasn't really being serious; she wouldn't force him to cook dinner just so that she could be lazy.
Riku's smirk spread into a full smile then, his arms lifting so he could set his hands on Lightning's waist. "Relax," he said softly. "I forgot to say that Serah was better than both of us. So in the end, I'm beaten too. We'll be sore losers together." He squeezed her waist gently, only kidding.

"You think I'm gonna fall for sweet talk like that?" Light asked, though she was smirking as she looked up at Riku. "No way. Not after you insulted my cooking." But since Riku was a better cook and Lightning was better at housework, they'd make a good team once they were married. They weren't even engaged and she was thinking about it, just because she knew there was no future apart from being at Riku's side.
"But I love you," Riku said in his defense, smiling a little more in hopes of getting back on Lightning's good side. "That's what matters most, right?" Just moments ago he was terrified, but now she turned his mood around. The way she did that always relieved him; he was too serious sometimes.

"Maybe," Lightning said slowly, a devious smile forming on her face. "But I'm not going to admit it right now. You're not getting out of this that easily, you insensitive lug." Of course, the words were spoken with such sugary sweetness that she obviously wasn't serious. This tone of hers was rare, though. It probably caught Riku off guard, since it did the same with her.
Riku lifted an eyebrow slightly, looking Lightning over. "What happened to the feisty woman I fell for way back when?" he asked, amusement in his tone. The tone she just used was off from the tone he had come to love; not that he didn't like the sweet side of her, of course. It was just different than what he was used to.

"Oh, I'm still plenty feisty, don't worry about that," Lightning responded with a smirk. "If we had more room, I'd grab your arm and flip you over my shoulder just to prove it." But obviously that was a dangerous move here in the kitchen, where so much could go wrong so quickly. Besides, there was no need for this "argument" to get physical.
Riku blinked, though his smile only widened. "Is that so?" he asked, though the answer was obvious. "Well I'll give you your chance." He bent forward and wrapped his arms around Lightning's legs, picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder. He would take her to the living room right now.

Lightning grunted in surprise with Riku's easy movement, the girl not even having time to fight it. "I was hoping this wouldn't turn violent," she said, though her voice held amusement. Despite the situation, she lifted one of her hands and cupped the back of Riku's head lightly. She couldn't believe him right now...It was ridiculous.
Riku chuckled lowly, turning and starting toward the living room. "You said you would flip me over your shoulder," he stated. "Not only did I beat you to it, but I'm giving you your chance at redemption." He approached the living room, walking around the couch to the open area between the furniture and the television. There would be plenty of room here.

"You've got to be kidding," Lightning mumbled. Still the smirk remained. Alright, Riku, if that's how you want it. She doubted he would make it easy, though. What, was he just going to stand there, let her grab his arm, and flip him? No way could she see that happening.
Riku heard that mumble as he stopped walking, and he glanced at Lightning over his shoulder, but only briefly. He then grunted, heaving her off his shoulder and toward the ground, his arms releasing her completely as he dropped her.

Though Lightning was surprised when Riku suddenly dropped her, she was still good at improvising. She managed to land in a kneeling position, one of her legs swinging around to knock Riku down as she hit the back of his legs. Dropping her was not a smart move at all.
Riku grunted, feeling his legs get knocked from underneath him. He landed on his back, briefly glancing at Lightning before he rolled to his side so he too was on his knees. "Nice try," he said with a small smirk. She was quick, he had to admit that.

"Nice 'try'?" Lightning responded with a smirk. "Please. That was much better than you hoisting me over your shoulder." Riku expected Light to fall flat on her butt when he dropped her, but instead, she retaliated before he could even think about it.
Riku smirked as well, his eyes narrowing playfully. "Maybe," he said slowly, not completely giving in. He wouldn't let her win this, but at the same time, he wouldn't hurt her. He slapped her once, when he wasn't himself, but that was the extent of his hurt towards her. He couldn't do something like that ever again.

"That's all you have to say, huh?" Light asked as she rose to her feet, cocky but still on guard. "Pathetic, Riku. Here I thought you'd have a better retort." She looked down at him, a hand on her hip as she smirked at him. What are you gonna do now?
Riku looked up at Lightning, though he lowered his head and shook it, a few chuckles leaving him. He stood as well, meeting her gaze. I thought you were still feisty, he silently said to her. So prove it.

"You really wanna get beat up, huh?" Lightning asked with a smirk, stepping closer to Riku so that she would actually have the chance to do something. She wasn't sure what her next course of action was, but she'd improvise like she did a minute ago with sweeping Riku's legs out from underneath him. He didn't stand a chance against her reflexes.
"I'm too proud to get beat up by a woman," Riku remarked, tilting his head to the side and lifting an eyebrow. He wouldn't get beat up. One, because he was too proud, like he said. Two, it was Lightning, and she wouldn't hurt him too badly.
