Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

"Oh, I see..." Light said, putting on a mask as if she were angry. But she was only setting up her next move. She swung around Riku in a blur, an arm across the very top of his chest as she poked a finger into his back. "If this was a real battle," she whispered in his ear, "you'd have a sword in your back. A woman would have you beat, Riku."
Riku blinked at the movement, but when he heard the words, his eyes narrowed once again. "Hmph," he grunted softly. He grabbed the arm over his chest and leaned forward, pulling on Lightning's arm at the same time. He was flipping her over his shoulder before she got the chance.

Ever the improviser, Lightning didn't let Riku have this victory over her. She wrapped her legs around his midsection so that she was attached to him, not allowing Riku to complete the flip. "Nice try," she said in his ear, mimicking what he told her a minute ago. But you're not going to get me that easily.
Riku couldn't help but laugh, the rumbles deep in his throat. "Oh boy," he said aloud, shaking his head as he still had a hold on Lightning's arm. Sneaky little thing, he couldn't help but think. She got him again.

"I think I've won, Riku," Lightning said softly, smirking as she wrapped her free arm over Riku's chest like her other one had been. Instead of instigating more physical attacks, she brought her head closer to his and nestled her face against Riku's hair. She not only won this little "argument", but she was also a winner because she had Riku in her life.
Riku sighed, both at the words and Lightning's actions. "Fine," he answered lowly. Sora could never know of this, though; he wouldn't let it go, that Riku admitted to losing. Thad had never happened before.

"Hmph," Light hummed with a smile, staying where she was. She was starting to feel hungry now, but she would hold onto Riku a few more moments. Plus, there wasn't much that she could do when he was still holding onto her arm. Dinner could wait a few more minutes, since moments like this didn't come along often. Not often enough, anyway.
Roxas let both Xion and Namine walk in before him, the young man shutting the door to Namine's apartment behind him. He followed them inside, though he didn't say anything. He was just feeling...pessimistic. It's always us, he thought, referring to him and Namine. It's either her or it's me. But why?

Kairi wasn't home, which wasn't surprising. She was probably at Sora's or taking care of something for the wedding. She probably had no clue that Vexen assaulted her...Namine fought the urge to shiver, walking to a couch as Xion kept her distance and leaned against the wall. I don't want to think about it, she thought miserably as she gazed down at her lap. I just want to sleep. She was exhausted from the two huge fights she had that day.
Roxas stopped just inside the room, his eyes finding Xion and then finding Namine before going back. He wasn't even sure what to do here... The two people he loved were in the same room, one who had never changed and one that just returned to her normal self. Why me? he thought, closing his eyes and shaking his head.

That's what I'll do, then, Namine decided. She would rather sleep than face reality right now anyway. And while she wished to fall asleep with Roxas on the same piece of furniture with her, she wouldn't force him to. ...It was starting again, what happened before. He loved Xion and felt uncomfortable with both of them in the room. She could tell. The blonde slowly laid herself down, praying she could get some rest and not shed a tear of frustration and fright. Losing Roxas was still an option, apparently.
Roxas opened his eyes in time to see Namine lie down, and he approached her at that moment. He stopped next to the couch and bent over, placing a hand on the armrest. "Hey..." he said softly, eyes soft. "I know Riku healed you, but...does anything hurt?" Was she resting because she wasn't feeling well? Or was she just tired?
  • Author
Namine shook her head faintly, her weary eyes on Roxas. "Nothing hurts," she assured him softly. "I'm just really tired." Not only was she tired physically from the fights, but her heart was tired as well. She was glad Xion was back to normal, really--Namine wasn't cruel enough to wish ill-will upon anyone who was genuinely good. Namine was just worried again that Roxas would fall deeply in love with Xion and leave her in the dust.
"Are you sure?" Roxas asked, moving his hand to brush some of Namine's hair back. She looked...different. Did Vexen say something, or do anything to upset her than the obvious? Was it that Xion was here, after all she'd done?

Namine nodded faintly against the couch, unable to see Xion but aware she was in the room. "I'm just a little scared, that's all," she said softly, so quiet that Xion couldn't hear. "About us." Roxas knew where Namine stood; she loved him with all her heart, even if Roxas loved Xion too. But was he going to fall deeper in love with Xion and end up caring for her more than he cared for Namine? That was what scared her.
Roxas's eyes widened slightly, softening in heartbreak. He knelt down so he was at eye level with the blonde, his hand resting gently in her shorter hair. "Namine, honey," he tried softly. "Don't say that." It was Xion, wasn't it? He knew why she was scared, but...their kiss that day on the beach was something so special to him. He would never forget that...

"Tell me I have nothing to worry about, but only if you mean it," Namine said softly, looking into Roxas's eyes as she savored the warmth of his hand by her face. She wanted to know that Xion wasn't a threat, and that Namine truly was the only girl Roxas could deeply love. But if Roxas was lying when he told her that, it would be that much more painful when she realized it. She needed his honesty more than anything right now.
Roxas gazed into Namine's eyes, leaning a little closer so she could clearly read them. "You have nothing to worry about," he said, pronouncing the words slowly so Namine could hear his promise within them. He could never love anyone the way he loved Namine. He may have loved Xion in the past, but she went away; that should have been his first clue that they couldn't be together.

Namine's pale blue eyes danced over Roxas's, the blonde staying silent even after he spoke. Just by the words and the look in his eyes, she knew that he was absolutely sincere. She really did have nothing to worry about. Moisture flooded to her eyes, though it was because of relief and not sadness. She nodded faintly against the couch, a weak smile appearing on her lips as her eyes expressed her response. I believe you. Thank you.
Roxas smiled a little at the moisture in Namine's eyes, aware of what they were for. She was happy, and that was good. He ran his hand over her short hair one more time before placing a gentle kiss to her lips. She would be alright; she was strong. Xion made her that way, so she couldn't break her anymore.

Namine's shut at the kiss, moisture leaking out of both eyes as she returned Roxas's gesture. Her hand found his shoulder as she tried to focus solely on the kiss and Roxas instead of all the trouble they faced lately. Happiness has to be on its way, she thought. It has to be. This period of sorrow can't last much longer.
Roxas let the kiss continue for a little bit longer before he pulled back a little. He opened his eyes to look at the beauty before him, a slight smile on his lips. He still had plans of proposing to her; that never changed when Xion showed up. She would be his sometime soon.

Namine opened her eyes, smiling softly at Roxas. I love you, she thought silently. She would always, always love him. Hopefully someday, they would be more than boyfriend and girlfriend. She hoped to be engaged within the next year, and then married after that. The sooner she could start her life by his side, the better.
Roxas's smile remained as he gazed at Namine. "We'll let you rest," he whispered. He and Xion would catch up while Namine slept, but that would be all that happened. He and Xion hadn't really talked at all since she died in his arms; he wanted to see how she was doing, and help if he could. Xion was still his best friend, after everything.

Namine nodded faintly, taking her hand off Roxas's shoulder and lightly putting it on his hand that was by her face. Her fingers briefly stroked it before she set her hand on the couch in front of her. Though she wanted to hold Roxas's hand for a while, she wouldn't keep him from Xion. He had a right to speak to her instead of just sitting there watching Namine sleep, after all.
