Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Sora found himself smiling still, though that smile was shy as a soft blush crept into his cheeks. Those were words that he always wanted to hear. He strove to be Kairi's protector and knight in shining armor ever since he was a little boy, when he would wave that wooden sword at anything that could pose a threat to Kairi. Even the leaves on the bushes couldn't touch Kairi when he had his "mighty sword" and he was there to "protect" her from them. It was a sweet memory, one that showed how dedicated Sora was to her all her life.
That blush made Kairi smile a little more, a single and soft laugh leaving her as she gazed at her husband-to-be. "...Our hearts are connected," she continued. "What you feel, I feel, and that's one of the reasons our relationship has worked so well, and will continue to work. I promise to be the best wife I can be for the best husband I could imagine, to be the best princess for an amazing prince. And I promise that whenever you need me, I'll be there. In sickness and in health, for better or for worse." She looked to his chest, her tears threatening to spill. "My heart is with you, forever and always."

Sora really had to fight hard against the urge to lean forward and kiss Kairi once again, but he restrained himself by forcing his eyes off her for a brief moment. He saw Namine behind her with an approving smile and moist blue eyes to match those of her sister. He shifted his gaze back to Kairi, smiling softly and nodding faintly to show that he heard the words, and he would cherish them forever.
Kairi's smile remained as she looked at the King, nodding to him. Her vows were finished, but the promises would never die. Not until death tore her and Sora apart. But even then, her loyalty would still be with him. She would never leave Sora's side, and he would never leave hers. Anyone that couldn't see that today was blind.

"Sora," King Mickey started with a smile, looking up at one of his close friends. "Do you take Kairi to be your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, for better or for worse, until death do you part?"

Sora glanced down at the King before he looked back up at Kairi, his eyes locking onto hers for a second. "I do," he vowed, his eyes serious but also loving. Though he was a goofball, he knew when to be serious. And taking care of Kairi and always making sure she was loved was the most important part of his life. He gently held her hand in his, slipping on her wedding ring in the same manner.

Riku glanced at the ground, a smile on his face at the two words his best friend spoke. This was it... They were so close. He lifted his eyes to see Kairi, whose tears were about to spill down her face. The words were so simple, but he knew they meant much more than that. Everyone else did too, since the place was completely silent save for the waves that gently rolled in behind the King.

"Kairi," King Mickey started with the same smile, shifting his gaze to the young woman who looked like she was ready to cry tears of joy. "Do you take Sora to be your lawfully wedded husband, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, for better or for worse, until death do you part?"

Kairi beamed at the question, her tears about to spill with joy. Isn't it obvious? she wanted to ask. She held Sora's left hand gently, lifting it as she slid his silver ring on his finger. "I do," she stated softly, her eyes on nobody but Sora. She would never look at anyone else the same way again. Sora was hers, always and forever.

"Then I now pronounce you husband and wife," King Mickey declared gently, still smiling in happiness for his friends. "Sora, you may now kiss your bride."

Gladly, Sora thought in silence, lifting a hand to Kairi's cheek as he gazed at her. He brought his head closer to hers but gently brought her in as well before his lips connected with hers in a gentle kiss. Husband and wife. My bride. My princess. Kairi... Now they were finally beginning this new chapter in their lives, hand in hand. Together.

Kairi released a small laugh before Sora closed in on her, and she gladly kissed him back. Her free hand lifted to sit on his chest, her eyes closing and a tear falling down her cheek. She heard applause as soon as she and Sora kissed, and her heart soared. Sora... He was her husband. Hers, forever.

Riku brought a hand to his lips and whistled instantly, hearing a few others do the same as Roxas clapped to his side, and Aqua cheered in glee. Everyone was on their feet, happy for the bride and groom. The husband and wife. Riku's best friends.

Serah found herself smiling, recalling when she got married to Snow within the past two years. She glanced over at her strong husband, gazing at him for a moment before she leaned her head against his shoulder. I love you.

"You know I can't resist," Sora silently warned Kairi, speaking through his heart. He shifted his hold on her, moving an arm behind her back so that he could hold her securely. And then he swung her around, dipping her down and momentarily breaking off their kiss as he gazed down at her with a cheesy smile. He warned her that he was going to do it, and he was sure she was too happy to be mad at him. He knew nothing could dampen his mood now.

Snow looked down at his wife, and turned his head, placing a kiss atop her pink hair. The vibe coming from her said enough, and he couldn't help but smile. I love you, too.

Kairi heard the words, but they didn't stop her from squealing when Sora swung her around. She gazed up at him, seeing his cheesy smile. She then tipped her head back, laughing in joy and amusement. This boy... This man... He was hers for the rest of eternity.

Sora chuckled as well, gazing at Kairi for a moment before he leaned down and kissed her again. He heard the whistles, especially the one that Riku had let out right away. He had thought about kicking his friend playfully, but that thought slipped away when he gazed at Kairi. This was their moment. Nothing was going to interrupt it, especially not some childish impulse of Sora's.
Kairi lifted her hand to Sora's cheek, letting it rest there as she kissed him back. Her other arm was around his shoulders, helping to support her as he kept her in the dip. He was so silly, but it was one of the things she loved about him most. She felt all eyes on them, especially the people in the bridal party since they were right there. Riku, Roxas, Ventus, Namine, Aqua, and Aerith. They were all so happy for her and Sora, and that was something she appreciated beyond words.

Namine witnessed Sora finally pull back after a few moments, and he also helped Kairi stand upright again. He smiled a cheesy smile at her before he grasped her hand and King Mickey announced both Kairi and Sora under the latter's name. They were finally a family, officially. She smiled widely, eyes moist as Sora motioned that it was time for them to walk down the aisle.
Kairi looked from her husband to her sister, smiling in glee. It was official.... It was real. She was a part of Sora's family now. She wasn't going to desert her sister, though. Sora was a part of their family now, too. Kairi turned her head to look back at her husband, grasping his hand tightly as she started walking. The ceremony was over, but the fun was just beginning. Now, it was time for the reception.

Lightning naturally applauded as the happy couple walked down the aisle and vanished out of her sight. That had been a sweet ceremony, like Serah and Snow's. At that thought, she shifted her gaze over to the two of them. Snow had been sitting between them, so she had to look up to see his expression, but he was still looking down at Serah. She smiled faintly, shaking her head. Hopeless romantic.

Riku watched as his friend disappeared down the aisle, but he then stepped forward, offering his arm to the maid of honor. "Shall we?" he said to Namine, smirking. Once everyone left the altar, the party would begin.
  • Author
Namine giggled, that happy for Kairi. "We shall," she agreed, setting a hand on Riku's arm so that he could lead her out. Once the two of them started out, Roxas and Aqua followed, and then Ven and Aerith. Namine already knew that the rest of the day was going to be great. How could it not be, with how happy and peaceful everything was right now?
Roxas walked with Aqua back to the building where everyone had originally gotten ready. The reception was outside, just like the wedding, but some time needed to be spared for the crew to move the chairs and get everything set. Including the stage, which Roxas would be on later. For right now, though, he looked for the woman he loved. Sora and Kairi were, naturally, with one another. Riku had escorted Namine out, so he found the silver-haired young man and located his girlfriend alongside him. Roxas's eyes brightened as he gazed at her, taking in her beauty once again. She was stunning.

"You did good, Riku," Namine complimented with a smile, squeezing the arm that she still held onto. He had done a good job walking Kairi down the aisle and handing her off; it had been absolutely perfect. All this made Namine start fantasizing about her own wedding, not that anything was set in stone for that yet. Heck, she didn't even have a ring on her finger. Not yet.
Riku smiled with a nod. "Thanks," he said in reply. He was glad to hear that he didn't mess anything up. Not only did he want to make things special for his best friends, he didn't want that moment where he handed Kairi off to be...clumsy. Things went smoothly, even if he did almost make Kairi cry. At the thought, he glanced over at the bride and groom. At the same time, though, he sensed a gaze on him that didn't belong to either of them. Riku spotted Roxas not too far off, splitting from Aqua now that they were inside. But he was gazing at Namine the way Sora had when he saw Kairi. "Someone wants to see you," he whispered, glancing at Namine before he jerked his head toward Roxas. While they talked, he would speak with his best friends, and congratulate them.

Namine looked over where Riku motioned, her smile naturally widening at the sight of Roxas. Of course he would be the one waiting to speak to her. She glanced up at Riku once more, tempted to lean up and give him a kiss on the cheek just because he was so adorable. But instead, she said "see you later" and gently took her hand away from his arm before starting over towards her boyfriend.
Roxas smiled when he saw Namine coming towards him, and he met her halfway. Of course, his eyes trailed her figure, looking at her dress and then her wonderful face. "You look beautiful," he greeted with the same smile. They hadn't spoken much since yesterday, which was only over phone. He hadn't seen her until the ceremony.

Namine felt her cheeks grow red, naturally. "Thanks handsome," she commented lightly, her blue eyes locked on Roxas's. He did look absolutely charming in that outfit. She was certain that they would have to get some pictures together today while they were matching. They'd go in an album of pictures Namine started collecting of her, Roxas, and all their other friends.
