Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Terra watched the three Masters until they were out of sight, and then he turned when he heard footsteps coming towards him. He wasn't surprised when Ven stopped in front of him, and they both smiled at each other. Things turned out pretty well here, all things considered.
Roxas stood from the sidelines, a small smile on his face as he watched Terra and Ven. He was scared that somebody would fail today, but that wasn't the case. Not technically. Riku was dubbed Master, and Terra Keyblade Knight. That was a successful day.

"...Are you happy?" Ventus asked after a few moments, though he felt like he knew the answer. Terra was handling himself well for just having his dream turned down, but Ven was starting to realize that Terra's real dream was just to help people. He had said as much himself, and Ven wasn't sure whether or not to believe that since Terra had been so enthusiastic about becoming a Master. But looking in his eyes and seeing him nod now, he knew that Terra really was content with how things turned out.
Roxas knew that good news would be delivered back home. Riku would get congratulated by his friends, and Namine, Sora, and Kairi would all be happy for him. But they'd be happy for Terra too. Nobody lost...Everybody won.

Terra smiled faintly at Ventus, no words needing to be said right now. They both were realizing the truth, and this gave Ven something to think about before he took his test. Now, Ven could feel free to discover his own dream, since it didn't seem like the three of them would ever be Keyblade Masters together. But that was alright.

Later...

Aqua flew into Destiny Islands' atmosphere just behind Terra, instanly seeing the beaches below. Riku had some very good news to report to his friends, and so did Terra. She was incredibly happy for both of them. The exam had been a success on both sides.

Roxas let his eyes roam, starting to descend so he could get closer to land. He was happy for both Terra and Riku, both of them having a new title. He knew that Sora and Kairi would be proud, and so would Namine, since she was close to Riku too.

Sora was on the island with Kairi and Namine, the brunet laying down on the beach with his eyes shut. But then he heard a noise and he looked up towards the sky. "They're back!" he said excitedly, bolting upright from his spot. Finally!

Namine looked across the water at Sora's words, her eyes finding the figures that were going towards the mainland. She saw at least one person land, and she thought that it was Terra. But she was so glad that everyone was back! She wondered how they did...

Kairi stood up, having been picking some seashells. She forgot all about them, though, when her eyes located the figures coming to land. "Well, what are we waiting for?" she said with excitement. They had to go see who passed the exam!

Sora pushed himself to his feet quickly, offering Namine a hand out of courtesy. She took it and rose to her feet with a soft nod and a smile, which Sora returned. He started over towards the boats at a light run, excited to see how his best friend did with the test.
Kairi quickly stuffed her seashells into her pack on her hip, but then she ran after Namine and Sora. She hoped Riku and Terra both did well, though she was secretly favoring Riku, for obvious reasons.

Sora hopped into his boat easily, not having a problem with balance because he had done this so many times. He noticed Namine was more cautious as she got into her boat, but she was alright with untying it and getting her paddle. Sora started off when he was set, trusting that the girls would be right behind him.

Roxas jumped off his Glider, landing smoothly on the ground a few feet below. He looked up to see his Glider disappear in a burst of light, and he knew that it returned to its Keyblade form. He then looked around, seeing Aqua's armor fade away to reveal her face and clothing.

Riku felt the weight from his armor lift from his body, disappearing in a warm glow of light. He then looked around, his eyes scanning the area for any sign of his friends. He needed to tell them the good news!

Ven's armor faded away, and out of the corner of his eye he noticed the same with Terra. He instinctively looked around, not seeing any signs of Sora, Kairi, and Namine. Where were they?
Roxas arched an eyebrow when he noticed that their friends were nowhere to be found. That was strange; he figured they would have been waiting right here... Or were they on the other island?

Sora was the first to reach the dock on the mainland, the teen having had more strength then the girls so he could paddle harder. He dropped his paddle in the boat and looped the rope around a pole on the deck before he set a hand on the edge of the deck and easily got himself up onto it. He stood upright, looking over in the direction he saw his friends in. "Hey!" he called, waving when he saw them all just standing there.

Riku turned at the voice, and he instantly recognized his friend. He saw the girls rowing up to the dock as well, and he lifted an arm and waved at all three of his friends. He had some news for them.

Aqua saw the look on Sora's face and immediately knew that he was excited for Riku. That wasn't hard to see; they were best friends, and he wanted to know how he did.

Sora looked down at the dock when he heard a faint noise, and he noticed both of the girls pull in. He knelt down and picked up the ropes from both their boats, tying them more quickly than they could have done. He wanted to hurry and help them out; he needed to hear how the test went!

Riku looked at the four people near him, glancing at each of their faces before he turned his attention forward again. That was when he started toward his friends' location, eager to reveal the good news to all three of them.

Kairi saw Sora tie her boat to the dock, so she wordlessly got out of it. She pulled herself up to the dock and then stood up, brushing herself off. When she lifted her eyes, she saw Riku heading over, but she couldn't tell anything by his expression. Did he do it? Did he pass the exam?

Sora saw Namine get out of her boat, and he turned around and stood upright when he was done tying the boats to the dock. His ears had already caught somebody walking over towards them, and when he saw that it was Riku, he wasn't surprised. He started walking as well, hoping to meet him halfway to figure out what happened.

Namine followed behind Sora, looking at Riku as they got closer. She couldn't tell anything by his facial expression, which was a little frustrating. She wanted to know how he did!

Riku stopped after walking a few more feet, his eyes following Sora, Kairi, and Namine's movements. He didn't want to give anything away by just his face; that would ruin the surprise.

Sora stopped by Riku, a few feet between them. He was aware of the girls close by him, but he kept his eyes on his best friend expectantly. "Well?" he prompted, wanting Riku to spill it. How did it go?

Kairi came to a stop next to Sora, looking up at Riku with curious eyes. He had to have passed, right? He didn't seem upset, but he didn't seem happy either. What happened?

Riku brought a hand to the back of his head, diverting his gaze. He didn't say anything, but he figured he'd pull a little trick on his friends. It should be a lighthearted celebration, after all.

Namine stopped on the side of Kairi, her gaze on Riku. What was going on...? Couldn't he just say it? Or, was it a bad response? Should they have asked somebody else first? Was Riku offended? Namine bit her lip in nervousness, waiting for Riku to give an answer.

"Well..." Riku said, lifting his eyes to his best friends. He saw their expressions and found himself smiling a little. He lowered his hand from his head and looked at all of them. "You're looking at the newest Keyblade Master."

Kairi's eyes widened, a gasp of surprise and happiness leaving her as she smiled. "Oh my... Riku, congratulations!" she squealed in delight. He did it! He passed the Mark of Mastery exam!

"That's great!" Namine said, happy for Riku. He passed the exam, and he was a Keyblade Master! He must have been so excited.

Sora felt himself smile widely, and he took a small step forward as he lifted a hand for Riku to high-five. "That's awesome!" he said, happy and proud of his best friend.
