Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

"Kairi made me suffer through this once," Riku said over the music, looking around to see everyone dancing. "I can do the same for you, or save you the humiliation. Your choice." He shrugged slightly, though he wore a smirk. He doubted Lightning would want to dance to something like this; he couldn't really imagine it. It was her choice.

"Being saved from humiliation sounds like the best option to me," Lightning said with a small smirk of her own. She grasped Riku's hand, starting to lead him out of the crowd so that they could go sit down. They'd sit this dance out and just be together for a few minutes. She knew that sometime soon, Riku would want to go dance with Kairi.

Snow saw what was happening, gave Serah a look, and knew she understood. He released her and squeezed through other people dancing, making his way to the bride and groom. "'Scuse me," he said, looking at Sora and Kairi. "But I think someone is trying to make an escape." At the confused expressions, Snow grabbed Kairi's hand and started leading her away from her husband. "Hope you don't mind me stealing the Mrs.!" He waved over his shoulder, unaware that Kairi was gazing at her husband in confusion.

"Snow!" Kairi squeaked, getting dragged through the crowd. "What's going on?" She tried to see past him, but the man was too tall. What was he doing? It was then that he stopped, and she was right in front of Riku and Lightning.

Snow looked down at his sister-in-law and her boyfriend, smirking as he released Kairi's wrist. "Riku and Light thought they were being sneaky," he started. "But, they don't move as fast as I do." He smirked at his sister-in-law. She wasn't going anywhere.

Lightning arched a brow, releasing Riku's hand as she folded her arms over her chest. "Riku and I are allowed to skip this song if we want to," she said, looking from Kairi to Snow. In the background, she noticed Sora wander over to Serah, who started explaining the situation to the brunet. Still, why did Snow need to make a big scene? You just had to embarrass yourself, and me, didn't you?

"Not on our watch," Snow said, looking to the bride. "Right, Kairi?" He could tell she was confused, much like the couple in front of them. She looked to Riku and stumbled with words, not knowing what to say, so Snow saved her. "What she means is, yes. I'm right, and you are not going to miss a song like this. It's the Mrs.'s big day! Don't be the friends that sit down every other song."

Kairi saw what Snow was trying to do now, and while he took desperate measures, it was a cute idea. "He's right, y'know," she agreed, looking to her best friend. "Dance with me, Riku. Please!" She gave him her trademark pout, her lower lip jutting out just a bit as her eyes grew in size. Pretty please?

C'mon, Kairi, Riku internally begged. He lifted a hand to run through his hair. Don't do that face... She knew he couldn't resist that!

Sora laughed from his spot beside Serah, able to see both his wife and his best friend's expressions clearly. She's got you wrapped around her finger, Riku, he thought silently to his friend. As soon as she pouted, Sora knew that Riku was going to give in and dance with her. It was her wedding day after all. No way was Riku going to refuse any of her requests today.
Riku heard Snow chuckle, and the young man hung his head, sighing. "Fine," he grumbled. He heard Kairi squeak in delight before grabbing his hand and dragging him back out onto the dance floor. Riku shot Lightning one last look, apologizing for deserting her. But...he just couldn't resist that darn pout!

Lightning smirked faintly at Riku, giving him a faint wave in goodbye. It was alright that he left her; she had been expecting it. "Well, you successfully kept Riku out here," she said to Snow as she looked back to him. "Congratulations." But that's the only person you're going to keep on the dance floor. She turned around to start off, knowing what Snow had up his sleeve now. And she wasn't going to buy into it.
"Oh, no you don't!" Snow called. He walked forward a few steps and wrapped his arms around Lightning from behind, picking her up. He then turned her around, taking her back to the dance floor. "'Scuse me!" he called to the other guests. "Comin' through!" No way was Lightning going to avoid a dance to music as upbeat as this, especially with him.

"Snow Villiers!" Lightning scolded in disgust, squirming in his hold. "You put me down this instant!" Didn't she frighten him at all anymore?! Or was he just too bullheaded to see that Lightning could still take him away from the crowd and sock him for this? Or did he see that she was too soft to throw a punch at his face anymore? No matter the case, he caught her. He wouldn't get punched today, but he would suffer for this later.

"Sorry, Miss Farron," Snow said, though he wasn't sorry at all. He chuckled as he set her down in the middle of the dance floor, near Riku and Kairi. "You're not going anywhere with me around!" She was dancing with him, whether she liked it or not.

Lightning turned around to face Snow, though she face-palmed herself because of his determination. "Can't go anywhere without making a fool of yourself, can you?" she mumbled loudly enough for him to hear. Of course, the comment wasn't harsh like it would have been a long time ago. She didn't hate Snow now. She did consider him a friend, but it was times like these that showed how opposite they could be.
"Little ol' me? Nah, not a chance," Snow said, pointing a thumb at himself. "Now have some fun. Loosen up!" He then took initiative, grabbing Lightning's hand and twirling her on the spot. Little did he know that Riku was doing the exact same thing with Kairi, the bride giggling like a little girl.

Namine burst into a fit of giggles when she saw Snow and Lightning, the blonde still dancing with her boyfriend nearby. She had witnessed everything with Snow from the very start, as it was hard to miss. The whole thing was just so amusing that she couldn't help but watch it all. Riku and Kairi, and Snow and Lightning. Two stoic people being forced to dance to a fast song with people much more enthusiastic than they were. She was so glad that Ben was getting pictures of it, because this would never happen again.
Roxas danced with Namine, though he couldn't help but spare a glance Snow and Lightning's way, as well as Riku and Kairi's. Who knew that would happen? Probably nobody, but what mattered was that it did. Snow managed to get Lightning to dance despite everything, and Kairi easily won Riku over. Roxas chuckled in good nature, shaking his head. I bet Kairi's glad she invited Snow and Serah now.

"I'm starting to wonder if somebody put something in the punch," Namine said among her giggles, glancing at Roxas before looking back to the others. Lightning dancing with Snow? Riku dancing a fast song? What a crazy day this was! Crazy good, that was. Everyone was so happy, including her, despite how she teared up on stage. She was having the time of her life.
"I think it's the occasion," Roxas said, grabbing Namine's hand and twirling her on the spot. Who wouldn't celebrate the marriage of people like Sora and Kairi? Given who they were, their reception was bound to be the same. Roxas didn't mind, and he was sure Namine didn't either. They were having fun, with each other. And that was what Roxas wanted most.
  • Author
"Yeah, you're probably right," Namine agreed, gracefully twirling and them returning to being closer to Roxas. Everybody was happy for Sora and Kairi for one thing, and to make their day perfect, they were willing to do things that they normally wouldn't do. But Namine had no problem dancing with Roxas, obviously. She loved every second of this.
Roxas only smiled, continuing to dance with the young woman he loved. He planned on making things a little better today, since he was going to go onstage soon and sing a few songs. He would be singing to Namine, but also for Sora and Kairi. The songs were about love, of course, so they fit the occasion. It would be great, and fun. He always loved performing.

"You're going up in a song or two, right?" Namine asked after a few more moments of dancing with Roxas. She wasn't sure what the schedule was for the music; she had been concerned with all the other stuff she had to do herself and not with what Roxas had to do. She didn't even know which songs he was going to perform today.
"Yup!" Roxas said, enthusiastic. It's gonna be great! He was so excited, simply because he hadn't performed in a long time. He wanted to show everyone his talent, but he wanted to express his love for Namine as well. And of course, sing for his two best friends. He was sure Sora could relate to his feelings, and would whenever it came time for him to sing.

Namine giggled at Roxas's excitement, smiling. "You're gonna do great," she stated confidently. Roxas always did do good when it came to performing. He never really got nervous in front of people even if his songs were personal and intimate. She wished she could be that confident with her intimate paintings. Maybe someday.
Roxas slowed his dancing when the music faded, and he stopped, taking a breather. "Thanks," he said with a nod. Of course Namine would say that, but at the same time, he knew she didn't have to. He had her support behind him, and that meant the world to him. He wasn't even sure she realized it, but she would when he sang today. They were two new songs, ones he hadn't performed yet. He was sure she would love them.

Namine nodded with a small smile, stopping her dancing as well. She took in a breath, feeling breathless already. She was thinking she'd sit off to the side while Roxas sang; she couldn't think of anyone else she would dance with. Everyone else had partners to dance with, even Ven. To the surprise of everyone, he had taken Xion under his wing and was making sure she didn't feel alone when everyone else was busy. But that wasn't too surprising at the same time; Ven was a warm and friendly guy.
Roxas took Namine's hand. "Come sit with me until I go on," he requested gently, taking a few steps back, toward the tables. He wanted to be with Namine for a bit longer before he went onstage. She kept him calm until he had to sing, and that was usually a good thing, or else he was bouncing off the walls.
