Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Okay," Namine agreed with a small nod, her fingers wrapping around Roxas's hand in return as the started out of the crowd. She was alright with sitting down, especially if it was with Roxas. She hadn't seen much of him lately since they were both so busy working on this wedding to make things perfect for their two best friends. And it seemed like they succeeded so far.
Roxas smiled, guiding Namine past all of the people dancing to another fast song. He approached their table and released his gentle grip on Namine's hand so they could both sit down. Maybe if they talked for a little while, he wouldn't get antsy. It was good that he was excited about going onstage, but only to an extent. He couldn't get too hyped up; he would never live it down.

Namine pulled her chair a little closer to Roxas's, lifting an arm as she started to lightly rub his back once they were seated. She knew why he wanted to be with her before he sang. Now she just hoped that she could keep him calm until his time on stage. There were some occasions where he did get nervous and excited, and apparently today was one of those days.
Roxas leaned forward, his elbows on his knees as he clasped his hands together. He looked at the crowd of people dancing, all people he had met before thanks to Sora and Kairi. He then looked to the stage, to Ben's friends, since they were the band. "Will you be watching?" he asked Namine, turning his head to look at her. He would like her to be, of course. He always did.
  • Author
"Of course," Namine said without hesitation, continuing to run her fingertips lightly over Roxas's back. She knew that was what he wanted; there had never been a case where he performed and didn't want her hearing it, so today couldn't have been different. He wouldn't do anything that could potentially upset her at their best friends' wedding.
"Good, good," Roxas said with a small nod, looking back to the stage. They were new songs. Not necessarily slow, of course, but good enough for the party. He at least hoped so. He had been working so hard on them lately, and when he found out there would be a live band, he knew it was the perfect opportunity to perform them. He hoped he did alright.

Namine giggled, moving her hand to sit on the back of Roxas's spiky head. "Relax," she said gently. "It's gonna be great." She had never seen Roxas mess up a song before, because he always worked so hard on them before actually performing them. He was sure to do a perfect job today.
Roxas laughed a little, looking over at his girlfriend again. "Yeah, I know," he acknowledged. "But it's like pre-game jitters. I can't really help it." He smiled sheepishly, shrugging. It was just the way he was. Namine helped to calm him down a lot, though, which was great. He owed her for that.

"I know," Namine said, leaning over and giving Roxas a peck on the cheek. The sooner he got up there and pulled out his guitar, the sooner he'd be calm and ready to go. He was going to do great; he just needed to get it over with. He had been practicing every spare moment he could, even though he had been busy with other wedding stuff too.
Roxas's smile turned soft at the affection, the young man looking at the girl he loved. He placed a hand on her bare knee, running his thumb over her skin. The song Ben's friends were playing was almost done; he would be going up soon. At the thought, he looked to the stage, exhaling. Almost time.

Serah stood over to the side, able to see who she was watching the same as before. Riku was still dancing with Kairi, and Lightning was still dancing with Snow. Lightning wasn't doing anything spectacular, only humoring Snow with all of this. But that was good enough for Serah. This was the second song that they were dancing to, and it thrilled Serah to see the two of them getting along. And just seeing Lightning happy in general was absolutely wonderful.
Snow couldn't help but laugh at a move Lightning did, the dancing coming to an end. He clapped her on the shoulder once they were finished, smiling. "Not bad, sis," he commented lightly. He knew she wasn't completely into it, but it was alright. He was just glad she had fun.
  • Author
"Yeah, well, you weren't too bad yourself, Hero," Lightning said with a faint smirk, lightly planting her fist against Snow's torso. That was how she showed affection towards him. She was sure that he appreciated that now he received a light fist to the stomach and not a torpedo punch to the face. She knew she did; his head was so hard that it actually hurt her fist when she punched him.
Snow laughed again, patting Lightning's shoulder before ushering her away from the crowd, so they could get back to her sister. "Thanks, Light," he said in gratitude. He nearly flinched when she put her fist to his stomach, afraid she was going to knock the wind out of him for what he did earlier, but she didn't. Good thing too, because he was sure the bride and groom wouldn't appreciate the behavior.

"But you're still going to pay for this," Lightning said with a small smirk, her hand back down at her side now. Snow forced her to dance through not one, but two songs. That meant that he was in for double the pain. The only problem was that she had no clue how she was going to get back at him. Oh well; she'd dwell on it for a while to make sure it was appropriate for the crime.

"Whatever you say, sis," Snow chimed, smirking as he walked with Lightning away from the crowd. The music was currently put on hold, and he wasn't sure why. But then an announcement was made, clearing things up...at least a little bit.

"Yo, Roxas!" the leader singer called from his place. He found the blond just outside the crowd. "Your turn, man!" They already had their instructions, ready to play when he was. Of course, the bride and groom knew nothing of this, until now.

Roxas exhaled a breath and stood from his seat, looking down at Namine. "Wish me luck!" he said, smiling as he bent down to kiss her head of blonde hair. He then waved, disappearing into the crowd so he could get onstage. Now was the time.

"Good luck!" Namine called after him, setting her hands in her lap as she watched him go. She tried to find Sora and Kairi in the crowd, but unfortunately for her, they were too deep in for her to see them. They were probably really confused, since they didn't know that Roxas was performing anything. They were going to be so surprised and happy; she was sure of it.
Pulling Riku with her, Kairi searched the crowd for Sora. When she did find him, she gave him a puzzled look. "What's going on?" she asked, confused. What was Roxas going to do? Was he...was he going to sing? The girl turned her head, seeing her blond friend make his way up the stairs. He started to take his jacket off, revealing the white dress shirt underneath. She and Sora weren't told about this...

"Riku, you know anything about this?" Sora asked his friend, looking over at him since Kairi dragged him over. Obviously he had no clue what was going on except that Roxas looked like he was ready to perform. But they hadn't talked about this at all, and Sora hadn't even noticed him practicing for anything. If he really was performing, he did a good job hiding it from them.

"Not a clue, man," Riku said, eyebrows furrowed as Roxas spoke with a few of the band members. Clearly he was going to sing, but what exactly? Nobody knew about this but Roxas...and possibly Namine. Either way, the secret was well-kept.

Roxas nodded to the lead singer of the group, who would be taking over guitar for the time being. Well, supporting guitar. Roxas would be playing the main, for now anyways. He looped the strap over his shoulders and approached the microphone, seeing that Sora, Kairi, and Riku weren't the only ones looking up at him in confusion. "A little change of plans, guys," he said, speaking to his friends, and the other guests. He smiled a little. "As a surprise to the bride and groom, I figured I would sing a little myself. Hope you don't mind." He smiled sheepishly his friends' ways, rubbing the back of his neck.

Sora chuckled, shaking his head faintly in disbelief. Man, you did a good job surprising us, he thought to his best friend. He offered him a thumbs up, that being his approval. Of course he was thrilled to have Roxas sing at his wedding. He had thought about asking him, but he wanted his friend to feel more like a guest than a performer. But if Roxas was up there willingly, he wouldn't chase him down.

"Make us proud, Roxas!" Kairi called up, grinning. Of course she didn't mind! How could she, when her friend was so talented? She knew Sora was going to ask him a little while back to sing, but he never got around to it for other reasons. She understood of course, but it was good that Roxas could still feel like a guest and be a performer.

Roxas chuckled, the sound going through the microphone. "I'll do my best," he vowed. He then turned to the others, nodding. He was ready. "Hey, Sora. I guarantee that when you hear this first song, you won't be able to take your eyes off your beautiful bride." He winked at his brother, smiling as Kairi blushed. He and Sora both loved their girls, and this song would get that feeling across. At the thought, Roxas looked to the table he had been sitting at before, finding Namine. His smile turned warm as he nodded to her. It was then that he started strumming, signaling the drummer to start as well.

"I can't take my eyes off her already," Sora chuckled, though he said it so that those within range of him could hear and not everyone on stage since they started playing. He looked over at Kairi at that thought, a sheepish smile on his lips. Whatever Roxas had in mind, he was sure that it was going to be great. But what song was this? It didn't sound familiar to him at all.

Kairi's blush deepened as she put a hand on Sora's arm, gazing at him. What he just said went both ways; she couldn't keep her eyes off him either. Especially since he looked so handsome today. She tore her eyes from him, though, when Roxas started to sing.

"I don't want another pretty face. I don't want just anyone to hold. I don't want my love to go to waste. I want you and your beautiful soul. You're the one I wanna chase. You're the one I wanna hold. I won't let another minute go to waste. I want you and your beautiful soul," Roxas began, looking down at his guitar briefly as he played the necessary notes. "I know that you are something special. To you I'd be always faithful. I want to be what you always needed. Then I hope you'll see the heart in me."

Namine blinked in surprise, not having expected Roxas to sing this song. This was one that he performed a few times for her in the past, and it was one of her personal favorites. She smiled faintly, a blush creeping into her cheeks as the memories of the past infiltrated. Good choice, she thought silently, her eyes locked on Roxas as he sang beautifully. Just like she knew he would.
