Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Hope laughed a little, looking from Serah and Snow, who were laughing hysterically, to the woman in front of him. "I don't think that's what he means, Light," he said with a small shake of his head. "Serah's a teacher back in New Bodhum." He thought Lightning may have known that, but perhaps he was wrong. Regardless, that was what Snow meant, not the fact that he was a father.

"Right, I knew that," Light said in recovery, taking her hands back and straightening her dress a bit self-consciously. And she did know that Serah was a teacher; she had just forgotten about that being something Snow could reference. I guess thinking about marriage today got me thinking about people having kids too, she thought to herself sheepishly. Whoops. "Just wanted to make sure that these two weren't keep anything from me." It was a lame recovery, but she wasn't sure what else to say.

Riku shook his head a little, lowering his arms. "Hey, Hope," he called, catching the boy's attention. "Why don't you come back to the party? I'm sure Sora and Kairi would like to see you." They met once or twice, if Riku remembered correctly, but it had been a while since everyone had seen each other.

Hope nodded. "Yeah, sounds good," he said with a small smile. The last time he spoke with the couple, they were incredibly nice. He wanted to congratulate them anyway.

"Hope's turning into a wedding crasher?" Lightning said in shock, though she was also teasing him. "What has the world come to?" The Hope that she knew would never do anything out of order or rude or anything that could be seen in a bad light. Apparently he was changing more than she had thought, but she didn't view it as a bad thing at all. He looked great.
Hope didn't hesitate nudging Lightning gently with his elbow. "Hey, now," he warned, playfully glaring at her as he stepped past her. She would have the rest of the afternoon to deal with him, so she was just going to have to forget him being a "wedding crasher."

As Hope walked past her, Light shifted her gaze to Snow and Serah. Since when did Hope nudge Lightning like that? He was never so playful before. "Alright, I'll bite," she said to the two. "What have you done to Hope?" They weren't being a bad influence on him, were they? Of course she didn't believe that, not for a second. Hope changed for the better after all.
Snow shrugged, though he did smirk. "Not a thing, sis," he said, keeping his arm around Serah as they turned to go back to the party. He started walking, trusting Hope to follow, as well as Riku and Lightning. They didn't do anything drastic; they just helped the kid loosen up a little. He was so serious after his mother passed that he forgot to have some fun. Snow and Serah reminded him of that.

Light trailed the couple with her eyes as she and Riku were left as the two being behind. "It's okay if he comes back to the party, right?" she couldn't help but ask. This was Sora and Kairi's big day after all, and if they didn't want somebody just walking into their party, Lightning wouldn't let it happen. She wasn't sure what she would do then, but she'd sort it out.
Riku took a few steps toward the woman he loved, wrapping his arm around her shoulders gently. "Relax," he insisted. "It's Sora and Kairi. They're not gonna throw Hope out." The last time they talked to him, they actually enjoyed having him around. He couldn't imagine it being any different now.

Light smiled faintly, wrapping an arm around Riku's lower back while her other hand landed on his stomach. "Alright," she said simply, trusting his word. If he said that it was okay, then it was okay. But she was sure that he already knew that she had no clue Hope was coming; she would have warned him if she knew about this surprise.
Riku kissed Lightning's head of pink hair, holding it for a second before he started walking. It was time they got back to the party, to celebrate with the bride and groom. The reception wouldn't last too much longer. Soon, Sora and Kairi would leave for their honeymoon.

Once Roxas got off the stage, Namine went to meet him before anyone else. She stood by the edge of the stairs with a smile, waiting patiently to congratulate him for a job well done. He had done terrific, just like she had expected him to. She couldn't remember him ever performing badly, after all. He was too naturally talented to mess up so easily.

"Thank you!" Roxas called one more time, waving to the wedding guests before he quickly left the scene. He jogged to the edge of the stage, going down the steps. As he did, though, he caught sight of the woman he loved and couldn't help but smile. "Hey," he greeted, descending the last step and meeting her on the sand. She had been watching the whole time, even dancing. That meant the world to Roxas.

"Hey," Namine greeted, beaming at Roxas. How could he greet her so casually after he did such a great job up there?! He was so calm now when he was so anxious earlier. Regardless, she was the one excited now. She threw her arms around him, giggling. "You did great!"
Roxas was surprised with the sudden embrace, but he welcomed it immediately. He wrapped his arms around Namine, squeezing her. "Thank you," he said, his gratitude in his voice. It felt so good to hear that, especially from Namine. He worked hard on his music, and to perform it was amazing. But what mattered most was the reaction. If people walked away saying it was alright, he wasn't happy. But great? Much better.

Namine giggled again at Roxas's happy but calm reaction. "I think we've switched positions," she said with a laugh. Earlier he was the one who was so excited and she was calm to try and rub off on him. And now she was the one who was excited and he was as calm as could be. Oh well; at least they were both happy. More than that, actually. Ecstatic.
Roxas chuckled a little, holding Namine another moment before lightly pulling back. He gazed at her and shrugged. "That's alright," he said, smiling. "I'm just glad you had fun." To his music, of all things. That was...the best feeling. He always wanted people to like his music, especially someone as important as Namine.

"And what about you?" Namine asked as she put her hands on Roxas's shoulders. She tilt her head, studying his eyes. "Did you have fun?" He seemed like he was having a blast up there, dancing and jamming with the band. She had never seen him come so alive in performing. It was so incredible to see him enjoy himself like that.
Roxas instantly beamed, looking down as he shook his head. "Nam," he laughed weakly. "You have...no idea." He looked back up at her blue eyes, unable to help his smile. He was so comfortable on stage, it was unreal. He couldn't wait until he could do it again.
  • Author
"I think I have some idea," Namine said with a laugh, lifting a hand as she brushed Roxas's bangs out of his eyes. "You weren't exactly shy up there." Well, except for the applause; that he was shy about. It was so precious to see that! But she wouldn't embarrass him right now. It was time the two of them were together again and continued to enjoy the party.
Roxas's smile softened as he shrugged a little. Namine was right about that; he was very comfortable onstage. He was sure that much was evident. He leaned forward, kissing the tip of Namine's nose. "Thank you for supporting me," he murmured, just so she could hear. Nobody else was close enough to hear their conversation, but it hardly mattered to him. All that mattered was Namine, as usual.
  • Author
"Of course," Namine said with a small smile, her hand returning to Roxas's shoulder. She was always happy to support him, just like he supported her. He loved his music and she loved her art. As long as they both realized that they were passionate about their arts, they could always support each other in the ways that they needed to. It was another way they were great for each other.
Roxas's smile remained as he exhaled a soft breath, closing his eyes and leaning his forehead against Namine's. His time on the stage was up. For how long, he didn't know. But what mattered was that he had fun, and he made sure the guests did too. That was what felt so good. He helped make Sora and Kairi's day a little better.

Namine smiled softly, shutting her eyes as she leaned in and gave Roxas a small kiss on the lips. After a few seconds, she pulled her lips back but kept her forehead against his. She didn't care that there were other people around; romance was heavy in the air for obvious reasons. Sora and Kairi just happened to be friends with a lot of people who were in serious relationships as well. Her and Roxas, Terra and Aqua, and Riku and Lightning. She wondered where the latter pair was; they both disappeared within the past few minutes.
"Should we get back to the party?" Roxas asked after a short silence, having taken in that small kiss. Was it the first he and Namine had all day? He couldn't quite remember, but he enjoyed it nonetheless. Were Kairi and Sora looking for them? Were they still enjoying themselves? He sure hoped so... There was only so much time left in their day. The afternoon was starting to fade as night approached, the sun slowly lowering from where it had been when this whole thing started.
