Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"We should," Namine agreed, still wearing a small smile. Yet she didn't feel compelled to back away right that second. They should have gotten back to the party, but she missed him so much lately that she just wanted a few more seconds with him here. And besides, they would have plenty of time together in the near future since all the wedding craziness was going to be over.
Roxas opened his eyes, looking at the face in front of him. "But are we going to?" he asked, catching the way Namine worded her answer. It made him smirk slightly, but he continued to hold Namine nonetheless.

Namine opened her eyes, smirking faintly herself. "Yeah, we're going to," she said as she slowly pulled back. They would have time to be sappy with each other later, and even in the party. There were still some dances to be had after all, and she knew there had to be at least one more slow song that she could cherish with Roxas.
Roxas's smirk remained as he released Namine, nodding a little. His business with the party was done now, so the only people that would be keeping him here were Sora, Kairi, and of course, Namine. Whatever they wanted to do, he would be there. And that was perfectly okay with him.

As Lightning, Riku, and the rest of her family returned to the main party area, she still had an arm around his lower back and a hand on his stomach. She scanned over the area, seeing what a success it was. "Looks like whatever you did turned out well," she said, shifting her gaze up to Riku's face. She knew he helped with some of the planning; he was the best man. And he did a good job fulfilling that role.
Riku shrugged a little. "Eh, flying to multiple worlds to hand out invitations isn't that big of a deal," he joked lightly. He smirked down at the woman still under his arm, speaking over the music that played. Of course, one of the worlds he visited was Gran Pulse, so he could get the message to Serah and Snow in time. Lightning already knew that, though.

"No, not a big deal at all," Lightning said with a small smirk. "So forget that compliment." Of course she was joking; that much was obvious. Riku flying to the different worlds was a big deal and they both knew it. She had come along on a few of those trips just to be with. And she had to admit, it had been pretty nice even if they didn't have the best places to sleep at night. Other than each other's arms.
Riku chuckled a little, lifting his hand that was around Light's shoulder to lightly play with her hair. It wasn't done up like Kairi's, so he couldn't really mess it up, but he didn't try to either. "Whatever you say, Light," he agreed willingly, continuing to walk with her through the party. He hoped someday soon this would be a lot like their reception, after he proposed. He hoped she said yes.

"Whatever I say, hm?" Lightning hummed with a smirk, loving the feeling of Riku twirling the pink hair that dangled over her shoulder the same as always. "You're going into dangerous territory now, Riku." If he agreed to whatever she said, he could get himself into some pretty sticky situations.
Riku continued to play with Lightning's hair, looking down at her as he did. "That's okay," he said. "You know just as well as anyone that I can protect myself." He could handle whatever Lightning threw at him, unless it was drastic. They hadn't exactly encountered anything like that just yet.

"That sounds like a challenge," Lightning stated with a small smirk. Still, she wouldn't do anything to get Riku into trouble today. Today was the wedding day of his two best friends, and it wasn't going to go on forever. And then after this, she assumed that her family was going to stay at her house overnight and then leave tomorrow. That was the best she could hope for; they had lives too.
Riku shook his head. "Not today," he said. No challenges were going to be encountered today. It was Sora and Kairi's day, so he was going to make it the best that he could for them. They deserved it after all, for everything they had done to help him in the past.
  • Author
"Of course not," Lightning agreed, giving Riku's lower back a light rub as she briefly leaned her head against his shoulder. She wouldn't dare do anything that would disturb Sora and Kairi's wedding. Or anyone's, for that matter. She wouldn't have interrupted Snow and Serah's even if she hadn't liked Snow if they got married before she befriended him. ...But that was probably because Lightning would have stopped the wedding before it occured, even by using the most desperate measures. But that was beside the point.
Riku lowered his lips to Lightning's hair again, the two of them standing by the tables. He held the position for a second before resting his chin atop her head, looking for his friends. He was sure Sora and Kairi wouldn't want to stay in the center of the crowd for too long, but it was Kairi Sora had with him now. She could have wanted to stay.

Xion couldn't believe that the day was almost over. For her, this was the first time that she was happy in a really long time. She was surprised when she was invited to the wedding, after all the terrible things that she had done. But over the past month, the people around her started treating her like an actual friend and not somebody they needed to be afraid of. I don't understand it, she thought, watching over the crowd from the punch table. Not at all.

A little while later

Kairi walked down the beach, hand in hand with her husband. It was so great to call Sora that; she had wanted this day to happen for so long. But now that it was here, it was hard to grasp. Did she really just get married? Was she now officially part of Sora's family? She smiled to herself as she stared at the sand, stepping through it with bare feet. She held her heels in her free hand, sure that a lot of the other guests were doing the same, if they were following. It was time to watch the sunset now, after all of the dancing and fun.

Sora still had his shoes on, just because he hadn't bothered to bend down and take them off. Besides, he would look a little funny walking around in socks on the beach. But Kairi without shoes was even more beautiful than having them on; this gave her a greater sense of freedom and spontaneity. And speaking of spontaneity... Sora stopped walking for a brief moment, releasing Kairi's hand from his grasp as he wrapped an arm around her back. Then he bent down and put the other under her knees, gracefully scooping his bride up into his arms.
Kairi squealed lightly at the movement, as she usually did whenever Sora performed this gesture. She looked at him as she wrapped her arm around his shoulder, her other hand still holding her shoes. "Why, thank you, kind sir," she said sweetly, smiling. Sora had always swept her off her feet, both physically and figuratively. Either way, she loved it all the same.

"You're welcome, miss," Sora responded with a cheesy smile. "I just saved your dress from getting sandier. Does your hero get a little compensation?" He leaned his cheek closer to her face, expecting a kiss on it for this service he performed. He was being goofy now instead of purely romantic, but he knew that Kairi loved both sides of him. The cheesy romantic and the heartfelt romantic. Both sides of him worked hand in hand anyway.
Kairi's smile remained as she leaned forward and pressed a light kiss to Sora's cheek. She then pulled back. "Of course," she finally answered, smiling at the boy she loved. They were both eighteen, and Sora's birthday was coming up soon. He wasn't really a boy anymore; he was a young man. A wonderful, handsome, charming young man.

Sora smirked slightly, giving Kairi a light squeeze as he held her. "I'll expect more compensation later," he said suggestively, winking at her before he looked up to the shoreline. There were people gathering in this area to see the sunset, which was always gorgeous. It was even more gorgeous when Kairi was in his arms and watching it with him. As his bride.
Kairi giggled lightly, her cheeks heating in a blush. That was right... She and Sora were leaving for their honeymoon as soon as the sun set. She was ready for it, though; a week away from home, just the two of them. It would be great.
  • Author
Sora looked around the crowd, able to see his closest friends and their significant others within range. He smiled faintly just at the sight of it. Terra and Aqua wouldn't have been together if Sora hadn't worked so hard to save them both. Namine and Roxas wouldn't exist without him and Kairi. And Riku would have been lost a long time ago if it wasn't for him and Kairi always giving him a reason to come back. We've already impacted our friends so much, Kai, Sora thought with a soft smile. And we weren't even married then. Imagine what good we can do together.
Kairi lifted her hand that was around Sora's shoulders, absently playing with his hair as she watched the sunset. Her blush was beginning to fade now, but she was sure she got some sun from all they did outside today. All the celebration, and the wedding... She was sure she would get sun on her honeymoon, too. Sora loved the sunshine more than anything else, except her and his friends, of course. And maybe...someday...he would love their children too.

Sora exhaled a breath through his nose, a small smile on his lips as he shut his eyes. "Finally," he breathed. Finally, he and Kairi were husband and wife. He waited so long for this. Over a decade. He loved her since he first laid eyes on her, but she wasn't sure. Of course he waited for her; settling for somebody else was never an option for him. It was going to be Kairi or nobody.
