Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Kairi turned her head at the word, her fingers halting in Sora's hair. "Finally what?" she asked softly. Was he waiting for the sunset all this time? Or was he waiting for the calm side of things to finally occur? The reception was nearly over, and she was sure both of them would be tired in a few hours, once they reached their honeymoon destination.

Sora smiled, looking down at Kairi. "I finally did what I've been waiting to do all my life," he said easily. "Marry you." And he meant it. He and Kairi had rocky times in the past, but they always found their way back to each other. They always would, too. They were not only connected by their wedding bands but also by the Paopu fruit. An unbreakable connection.
Kairi's smile returned, this time out of love and warmth. She didn't have to ask if Sora meant that; he did, with all his heart. She could feel it in hers. She leaned forward and pressed a soft kiss to Sora's lips, holding it for a moment. "I love you," she whispered, pulling away so she could look at his eyes. She had always adored those eyes, and now she could look at them every morning, every night.

"I love you too," Sora responded with a soft smile. Always have, always will. Nothing could change that. He and Kairi would change over time, and so would the worlds and those around them. And so would their love. But their love wasn't going to diminish; it was going to grow greater and greater every day that they were together. That was what he believed.
Kairi's smile remained, the young bride looking at her groom. She let her hand begin to play with his hair again as she tore her gaze from his. Her eyes instead rested on the sunset, the area around them quiet as only the waves rolled in. Everyone was enjoying the moment, simply because it was beautiful.

Serah leaned back into Snow as he stood behind her, her hands on his arms that were wrapped around her upper torso. She was so happy that she and Snow came to the wedding. And she was so happy that they encouraged Hope to drop in and say hello; Lightning was clearly thrilled to see him. The two of them even danced together for one of the songs! It was so awkward, yet so cute at the same time.
Snow stood behind Serah in silence, his eyes on the sunset. He thought they were good back on Gran Pulse, but he was wrong; the view here was ten times better. And by the looks of things, everyone else agreed as well. The bride and groom were cozy near the water, while the two best men spent some quality time with their own ladies. Of course, Hope was with Lightning and Riku too, so the quality time for those two would have to come later.

Lightning stood between two of the young men that she loved most in all the worlds, her hand on Hope's shoulder as they all gazed out at the ocean. I'm proud of you, she wanted to say to Hope. He overcame so much and was truly growing up into a fine young man. She wished she could take more credit for that, but she hadn't seen him in a while so she felt she couldn't. But at the same time, their time together as l'cie was beneficial for both of them. They raised each other in a lot of ways, even if Light was twenty-two at the time. She'd always be grateful for all that Hope taught her.

Riku stood on the beach, his arms crossed over his white shirt and tie. He gazed at the sunset in silence, and occasionally he would glance around the beach. Everyone was enjoying themselves; the party was winding down, as was everyone else. He didn't doubt that a lot of people would crash tonight, because they were so tired. He wasn't sure about Sora and Kairi, though, since they were leaving soon for their honeymoon. They had a new world to explore, from what Riku heard.

Sora gently set Kairi down in the beach, glancing at the sunset one last time before he looked at his bride. "Kai, it's time for us to go," he said gently. Their time here was up. Now it was time for the two of them to go to their honeymoon. Though he didn't want to part from his friends on such a magical day, he did want to be alone with his beautiful wife.
Kairi tore her gaze from the sunset, the light nearly gone. Her eyes landed on those she loved, and she smiled softly. "Right," she agreed with a nod. Their honeymoon. She was sure it would be wonderful, even if they did have to part from their friends for a week. But Kairi knew it would be worth it. This day, and this next week, would be times she would never forget.

"Wanna say goodbye?" Sora asked quietly, lifting a hand as he gently brushed a stray curl away from Kairi's eyes. He had a feeling that she would, and he did too. At least their friends weren't too scattered down the beach. It wasn't like it was a real goodbye anyway; they'd be back in a week.
"Mm," Kairi hummed, lifting a hand to sit on Sora's chest briefly before she let it fall. There was no way she and Sora could say goodbye to everyone, so they would give the personal goodbyes to those most important to them--their closest friends. And now, family.

Sora smiled softly, reaching for his wife's hand. "C'mon then," he said, lightly holding it as he started leading Kairi towards where Riku was standing. He was the closest friend he saw, so the two of them would say goodbye to him first. And then they had to track down Roxas and Namine.
Riku gazed at what was remaining of the sunset, which wasn't much. But now, the stars were beginning to come out. He remembered how he and Sora used to stare up at them when they were little, and the one time Sora randomly started crying. Riku's eyebrows furrowed slightly at the memory before he caught movement out of the corner of his eye. Turning his head, he spotted the bride and groom approaching. Riku's arms fell from his chest and to his sides, his thoughtful expression disappearing at the sight of them. It was time for them to go.

Sora released Kairi's hand once they were closer, instead setting his hand on her upper back as he looked to Riku. They stopped in front of their best friend and he nodded. "We're heading out," he said. They were going to go get their things and then leave on their honeymoon, and they'd be out of touch for a week. But Riku could hold down the fort while they were gone; he was sure of it.

Riku smirked a little, his trademark smile. "Fine, but no getting lost," he said, pointing a finger at his friends. Kairi smiled before stepping forward, her arms going around Riku's neck as he embraced her as well. He picked her up with ease, his arms around her lower back as he squeezed her and she giggled. "Don't let the goofball get out of hand," he told his little sister, smiling.

Kairi giggled a little as she was set back on her feet, nodding as she looked up at Riku. "I won't," she assured him, turning a little to look at her husband with an amused gleam in her eye. Sora would be goofy on the trip, but he would be more sincere as well. She could count on that.

Sora smirked, rolling his eyes at Riku's comment to Kairi. "I'll behave myself," he said, casually waving a hand. "Just as long as you're not too serious here while we're gone." Riku did get pretty serious sometimes, but hopefully he wouldn't be down while they were gone. He doubted it though; he had Lightning to look after him now. She made him happy.

"You two know I'm the serious one out of the three of us," Riku pointed out, a fist going to his hip as he rolled his eyes. "Easier said than done." It would be quiet without Sora and Kairi around, so he would probably be working a lot more than usual. He couldn't make any promises.
  • Author
Sora smiled weakly, stepped forward and clasping Riku's shoulder. "It's only a week," he said. Then the three of them would be together again. It would be different, but they would still be a family. That would never change. He wouldn't let it. Their trio wasn't going to be shattered by Riku being the "third wheel".
Riku lifted an eyebrow. "We'll see if it feels like a week for you two when you get back," he said. At Kairi's expression, he only winked. It was then that she blushed, her eyes falling to the ground. Riku only chuckled, shrugging Sora's hand off his shoulder. "Go on, lovebirds." They still had to say goodbye to the others.
  • Author
Sora didn't really like how Riku shrugged them off without any promises, but he wasn't about to nitpick when Kairi was here. She didn't appear worried, so he wouldn't either. "Right," he agreed with a nod, shifting his gaze to the left. He saw Roxas and Namine over there, so he gave Riku a faint wave before he started over to them. You better be alright while we're gone.
Kairi nodded to Riku before she followed Sora's lead, carrying her shoes in one hand. She waved to Lightning and Hope as she passed them before making her way toward the blond couple. Roxas was too busy whispering something to Namine to see them approaching, but it made Kairi smile. One day, Namine would be the one saying goodbye before her wedding. Kairi just knew it.
  • Author
Namine smiled at Roxas's words, one of her hands on his chest as he whispered to her. She saw white out of the corner of her eye and turned her head slightly, seeing Sora and Kairi approaching. She instantly knew it wasn't just to hang out with them; it was time for her two friends to leave for their honeymoon. I'm so happy for both of you. This day was always meant to be, and now it finally happened.
Roxas looked up when Namine seemed distracted, a small chuckle having left him seconds ago. But now, he knew that the people approaching were going to say goodbye. His smile remained, though it did soften. "Hey," he called lightly, his voice not too loud to distract the others from...whatever they were doing. A lot of the guests ventured back to the reception area a few minutes ago.
