Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Hey," Sora greeted with a faint wave. "We're leavin'." A lot of the guests just went back to the reception area to get their stuff, so the day really was coming to a close. It was bittersweet, but he wasn't really sad. How could he be sad when he was married earlier? And when that girl was the one he had dreamed of for so long, it wasn't easy to get depressed that the day was ending. Because tomorrow he would wake up next to his wife for the first time.
"So soon?" Roxas asked, his arm draped over Namine's shoulders still. "I was hoping to make one more toast to my homies." He grinned then, amused by his own joke. Kairi found it to be humorous, since she laughed softly. He knew he was never going to live that lyric down.

Sora smirked as well, chuckling as he held out a hand to shake Roxas's. "It'll have to wait till we get back," he said. "But you can keep an eye on the rest of our homies for us while we're gone, got it?" His own smirk grew, just because that word was never one they used around here. He couldn't believe Roxas actually put it in a song. That was something he would never live down.

Roxas let his arm fall from around Namine's shoulders as he took Sora's hand, giving it a good shake. "Got it," he agreed with a smile. He was never the one given the responsibility of looking out for everyone, since Riku usually took that role. But he would do his best.

Kairi noticed Roxas release Namine, and she used the opportunity to embrace her sister. "We'll take pictures for you guys," she told Namine, aware that Namine was always looking for a chance to use her camera. "Don't wait around for us."

Namine giggled, hugging Kairi back. "You better only be gone one week," she said lowly, teasing. She hoped that Sora and Kairi didn't get carried away and spend a month away from home or something silly like that; they would all miss them too much. But still, she wouldn't put it past them to take an extended vacation. They deserved it, of course, but she still wanted them back as soon as possible.
Kairi smiled, pulling back from the hug. "I don't know," she teased. "Sora picked the place. It might depend on how nice it is there, right Sora?" The bride turned her head to her groom, the question hanging in the air until he answered. Would they be gone only one week, or stay longer?

"You got it," Sora said, sending a wink at his bride. "But we'll try our best to be back on time. I know you guys are hopelessly lost without us." He arched his brows joking, raising them up and down and getting some giggles from Namine. He and Kairi would try to be back in a week, just because they would miss their friends. Their time alone would be great, but time with friends was great too. Always.
Roxas chuckled, though he rolled his eyes. "Not hopelessly," he said, playing along. Regardless, he knew Sora and Kairi would enjoy themselves, and that was really all that mattered. Right now, it was their moment. Whether it lasted a week or longer was up to them.

"Oh good," Sora said in a greatly relieved tone."I was worried you guys weren't going to be okay while we were gone. But it seems like you will..." He smirked, stepping forward and giving Namine a hug goodbye. She'd keep an eye on Roxas this week; they'd be fine. The two of them were doing really well lately. So well that Sora wondered if Namine would have a ring on her finger by the time he and Kairi returned.
Roxas looked from Namine and Sora to the bride of the day, and she smiled at him before stepping forward for a hug of her own. Roxas held her gently, her curls against the side of his head. He knew that Kairi and Sora would enjoy their time away together. But they were already in paradise; Roxas was curious as to where they were going. After a moment he and Kairi separated, and Roxas nodded to her. "Have fun, guys," he said, wishing them the best.

"We will," Sora promised with a smile, setting a hand on Kairi's upper back as he nodded. He'd make sure of that. "See you guys soon." He lifted a hand and waved to two of his best friends before starting past them. He saw some of their friends further down the beach, so they'd say those goodbyes quickly and then be on their way. He couldn't wait to get going.
Kairi watched Roxas nod to them in goodbye, and she waved as she and Sora started down the beach. As much as she loved this wedding dress, she was ready to be back in more comfortable clothes and her sneakers. Besides, she and Sora would be flying on his glider to their destination; a wedding dress wasn't the best attire for world travel.

Namine watched her two friends walk away, the blonde happy for them but a bit sad that Kairi wasn't going to live with her anymore. The apartment would feel empty without her. She stepped closer to Roxas again and leaned her head against his shoulder, her hand sitting on his stomach as she watched them go. It's okay, she thought with a small smile. It's a new chapter.
Roxas wrapped his arms around Namine, though his eyes were glued to the couple walking away. To think...he was going to be alone in the house now, with Sora's parents. Sora and Kairi had saved up enough money to get a small apartment of their own, so both Roxas and Namine would be alone most of the time. It was alright, though. Watching his two friends walk away, Roxas couldn't help but imagine himself and Namine in their places. Someday soon, he silently vowed. One of these days, Namine would be the one wearing white.

It didn't take too much longer for the beach to clear off. A lot of the guests left to go home and only a few remained on the beach to stare up at the stars. Lightning was one of them, along with Riku, Hope, Snow, and Serah. By now, Snow and Serah had sat down, and so had Lightning. Her legs were extended in front of her as she gazed up at the stars, their lights reflecting in her blue eyes as her mind ran over the whole day. It had been a great one.
Riku stood beside Lightning, though he wasn't the only one. Hope was on the other side of her, also looking up at the stars. Hope talked earlier of how this view nearly matched the one on Gran Pulse, at least for the stars. That was when Snow took the liberty of explaining that the sunsets were better here than back home. It made Riku proud, for some reason. But...maybe it was because this wasn't only his home, but Lightning's too. He looked down at her for a second, smiling to himself. He was going to move out someday soon, and he hoped she would stay with him. That'd be nice.

"This really is paradise," Serah sighed, looking out at the ocean. Much nicer than New Bodhum. She loved her new village, but it was hard to live a life where you had to hunt to survive. There was no real government yet, or industry. Everything was just beginning and it was rough. But she wouldn't trade it for this. This was nice, but it wasn't her home. Even if it was Lightning's.

"Heh," Hope laughed weakly, his hands in pockets as he looked up at the sky. "Different from Gran Pulse, huh?" This place was more peaceful than where they lived, but things would work out eventually. Hope knew Serah and Snow were working hard at it.

"I'll say," Snow acknowledged, lying on his back. His hands were tucked behind his head, his eyes on the moon. "Looks like you've got it made, Light, staying here with Riku and all." He knew she wasn't coming back with them. It was unspoken, but clear. Lightning was happy here, and that in turn pleased Snow. She deserved a home like this, after all she did.

Lightning nodded faintly, still staring up at the stars. "Yeah," she agreed. It looked like she did have it made, and she did. Riku was the first person she loved romantically, and the only one. She cared for Kain in that other life, but it was nothing like this. In this life, right here, she was somebody she actually liked. Somebody who was strong emotionally and physically. Somebody who wasn't alone. She lifted a hand and set it on Riku's leg without looking over, not caring if it was sappy. Her feelings were clear for once, to everyone around her.
Riku felt the touch and looked down, his eyes finding the woman he loved. He was glad to hear that she accepted this life, as did her family. If they didn't approve, he didn't know what he would do. Lightning's home was destroyed a while back, and this was the first place she came. Of course Riku helped her find a place; no way was his girlfriend going to be sleeping on the beach. Now she had her own place, which was great. Soon, Riku hoped to move in with her, and they could start their lives together as well.

"You guys know you're spending the night at my house, right?" Light checked after a few moments of silence. Serah hummed her response, which was a "yes". Lightning had told them to stay for the night a long time ago, since she had a feeling the reception would go into the night. Even if they could make it home pretty quickly, this was an excuse to keep her family close just a little longer. She'd take it.
"You guys wanna head back then?" Riku asked, though his gaze wasn't on Lightning's friends. He saw that everyone was clearing out from the reception, since the bride and groom were leaving. "It seems like there isn't really a party without the bride and groom." The party was over, but Riku was sure more would come in the future. At least two more: Roxas and Namine's, and his and Lightning's. Hopefully.

Light felt Serah's gaze on her, waiting for her to answer. So, Lightning nodded. "Yeah," she said. "Let's head back." She set a hand on the ground, starting to get up as Serah did the same. The house she was in was big, so they could all comfortably fit in there for the night. Even Riku, if he was planning on staying over. She had a feeling he was.

Hope's gaze was still locked on the sky, but then he noticed something fly across it. It...looked like some kind of machine. But that was when he recognized that two figures were on it. "Hey, look!" he encouraged, pointing a finger at the sky. It was Sora and Kairi!

Riku did as Hope said, looking to where the boy's finger pointed. It was then that he smirked. Not wasting any time, he thought, watching as Sora's glider opened a portal. See you soon.

"Hmph," Lightning hummed with a slight smirk. Yeah, that was Sora and Kairi, on their way to some other paradise. Their own private heaven. Where would they find paradise beside here, though? Finding a place that topped this must have been hard. How am I going to find some place I want to go? she pondered thoughtfully. She shifted her gaze over to Riku without thought, still thinking. The only place I want to be is where he is.
