Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku's smile grew, the older boy lifting his hand and smacking his palm against Sora's in a high-five. His eyes went from his best friend to Kairi and Namine, seeing the excitement in their eyes. He was glad they were happy for him, not that he expected anything less. They were his friends.

Kairi couldn't help but smile at Riku, very proud of him. He must have done a wonderful job! All she wanted was to give him a hug for his great efforts.

"What was it like?" Sora asked in wonder, lowering his hand as he looked up at his best friend. Riku was a Keyblade Master...Whoa. Sora tried not to feel sad that he missed the exam, instead focusing on his best friend.
"Tougher than I expected," Riku declared with a nod, and he thought it would be really difficult; he'd expressed that much to Sora beforehand. "There were a few challenges, but the hardest was facing off against Terra."

Sora felt his eyes widen at that, in awe. "You fought Terra?" he asked without thought. That was crazy! Terra was so strong, and not that Riku wasn't, but still...That must have been a great fight.
Riku nodded, his smile turning into a smirk of humor. Sora's reaction was something he should have expected, but he was still in shock of what happened just a little while ago. He...was a Keyblade Master. Officially.

"...Wow." That was all that Sora could say or thing. Not only had Riku battled Terra, but his best friend was now a Keyblade Master. ...And Sora was without a Keyblade. It was a very depressing thought, but he fought off any feelings of sadness or jealousy. He was too happy for his best friend to let them surface right now.

"Well," Kairi said, smiling up at her best friend. She then stepped forward, wrapping her arms around Riku in a hug. "Welcome home, Master Riku."

Riku chuckled a little at Kairi's small taunt, the boy wrapping his arms around his best friend as well. But still...hearing that was bizarre. It felt...weird, really. Master Riku...

Namine looked at Riku and Kairi for a moment, and she knew that she would be the next to hug Riku. A smile was present on her lips as she shifted her gaze to Sora, seeing him smiling as well. She wondered if he was thinking about his Keyblade, and she figured that was likely the case. But he was genuinely happy for Riku, and it showed. Those two really were best friends.
Kairi pulled back after a moment, her smile still present on her face. She looked up at Riku and stepped back, linking her hands behind her back as she nodded to him. She was incredibly proud. She had hoped he would be crowned Master, and now he was! It was great!

Namine took her opportunity to move forward when Kairi was back in her original spot, and she wrapped her arms around Riku then. "Congratulations," she said, a smile still present on her lips. She was so proud of him; he deserved this title and the honor that came with it.
"Thanks," Riku said, looking down at Namine as he hugged her back. He hadn't completely absorbed everything yet. He was sure that he would need some time to look back on what just happened, since he had a lot to think about.

Namine pulled back after a moment, a smile present on her lips despite the fact that the hug was over. She took a step back to where she was before, still gazing at Riku. Master Riku...It was strange, but she'd get used to it.

Kairi looked past Riku, seeing Terra, Aqua, Ventus, and Roxas all talking not too far off. That made her wonder something. "So, how did Terra do?" she asked, curious about that. Two people could possibly pass the test, not just one. So did he do the same too?

Riku turned his head, glancing over his shoulder at the man that crowned him his successor, giving him the Keyblade from the start. He didn't want to be the one to break the news, but he had another idea. "Go ask him for yourself," he said, looking at his friends as he jerked his head back towards Terra. Maybe he wasn't Master, but he was something else that held honor.

Sora looked at Riku with an arched brow in question, but he knew he wouldn't get a response out of Riku. He started walking and went past his best friend, starting towards Roxas and the other three Keybladers that he had learned to call his friends.
Riku turned, watching Sora go, as well as Kairi who was right on his tail. He was sure Namine would go as well, also to see Roxas. The blond had witnessed everything along with Ventus anyway.

Terra turned when he heard movement behind him, and he saw Sora, Kairi, and Namine coming over towards them. And since Sora was looking at him, he assumed that he wanted to know how the test went. But, much like Riku, he kept a straight face. His facial expression wouldn't give anything away to the clueless teens.

Aqua's head turned when Terra looked away, the woman now gazing to the side to see three teens come over. The ones who hadn't gone to Master Yen Sid's. She saw Riku not too far off, but her eyes immediately found Sora, Kairi, and Namine again.

Roxas leaned over, looking past Terra to see his friends and the girl he loved. A smile instantly came to his face at the sight of them, especially the only blonde in the group.

Sora stopped by the group first, and he glanced over everyone before his gaze went back to Terra. "Hey, how'd it go?" he asked, greeting him and then getting straight to the point. Terra was his friend too; he was eager to find out how things went.

Terra looked over the trio in front of him, and unlike Riku, he decided not to taunt them and keep them in suspense. "I'm not a Master," he informed them. "But I did receive a title of my own." He felt himself smile as he told them the rest. "I'm a Keyblade Knight."

Kairi felt herself smile at the look on Terra's face, and hearing his new title. "Keyblade Knight?" she repeated softly, wondering what that was. Did they have any specific duties or something? She was never really involved in this kind of thing, so she hoped Terra didn't mind her curiosity.

Terra looked to Kairi since she asked the question, and he knew that he had to explain. "The title of Keyblade Knight defines a person who fights for their friends rather than for themselves or their own selfish reasons," he elaborated.

Sora felt a smile appear on his lips, the teen understanding what the title meant now that Terra explained it. "That's great," he said, genuinely meaning it. "Congratulations." Beside him, he heard Namine hum her agreement.

Kairi linked her hands behind her back, looking up at Terra and nodding with a smile. She didn't only nod because of his explanation, but also because of Sora's congrats. It was great that nobody came home unsatisfied. Terra seemed genuinely happy with his title as a Knight, and Kairi was glad for that.
  • Author
"Thanks," Terra said, nodding to regard the sentiments directed at him. He had to admit, he was happy. He hadn't expected to become a Knight after he wasn't titled a Master. But honestly, he didn't need a title. He knew who he was now, and that wasn't going to change just because he had a new title.
Aqua looked from the three teens to Roxas and Ventus, to Riku as he came over, and then finally to Terra. "So, how do we celebrate?" she asked, wonder in her voice. There was no way she was going to let the rest of the afternoon and evening go to waste. Today's success was too great to leave alone.

Terra looked to Aqua when she asked the question, but then he looked over at Riku. He hadn't even thought about celebrating; he was content with how things were. But they did have the rest of the day available, so he supposed that they could do something fun.
Riku stopped by Sora and Kairi, standing behind them a little bit. He heard the conversation, and he tried to think of something they all could do together. "Any ideas?" he asked, wondering if anyone could pitch in a thing or two.
