Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku watched as his friends disappeared through the portal, waiting until the portal vanished to lower his gaze. He found the ocean first, but then he felt a gaze on him. Turning his head, Riku's eyes met Lightning's. He tilted his head at her expression, one of his eyebrows lifting. "Hm?"

Claire came out of her thoughts, smiling faintly and shaking her head at Riku. Nothing. She put her hand on his arm briefly as she stepped past him, motioning for her family to follow her. But she didn't just take the lead to show them the way. She took the lead because she was blushing. She decided a long time ago that she wanted to marry Riku, but just thinking about it made her nearly giddy. That was so strange for her that she often didn't know how to handle it and started blushing.
Riku followed Lightning with his eyes, still in his spot. What was that glint in her eye? It wasn't michevious, by any means. But...what was it? Snow clapped Riku on the shoulder, snapping him out of it. The teen decided it would be a good idea to follow everyone, walking beside Snow as Hope followed Lightning. They were going back to her house, and Riku planned on staying. He hoped that was alright.

It didn't take long for them to reach Light's house, and since she didn't really have pockets on her dress, she left the house unlocked. She opened the door and stepped inside, turning on a light and seeing that everything was in order, as she expected. She walked further in as her family followed. "Hope, you can have my bed," she said to her friend. "I'll take the couch." And Riku too, if he was staying. She hoped he didn't mind, but she had to offer Hope her bed since he was a guest.

Hope blinked, though he instantly became uneasy. "Uh...are you sure, Light?" he asked, rubbing behind his head. "I mean, I can sleep on the couch. It's your house..." She really didn't have to do that. He would be okay. The boy turned his head when he felt a hand on his shoulder, seeing Riku next to him at his slightly taller height.

"Her house, her rules," Riku said with a small smirk. He then looked to Lightning, as if to ask, Isn't that right? If Lightning offered, she didn't second guess her decision. It was final.

Lightning smirked over at Riku, nodding. Yup, that's right. But with Hope, she gave a lighter response. "It's only one night," she stated with a small shrug. It wasn't a big deal. She just had to grab some stuff out of there, like clothes to change into and some sheets for the couch. Other than that, it was all Hope's.
Hope smiled a little. "Alright, if you're sure," he said with a small nod. "Thanks, Light." Riku released his shoulder to take his shoes off, and Hope decided it would be best if he did the same. He wasn't as tired as Riku probably was, since the guy was the best man and Hope only arrived a few hours ago. There was probably a big difference in exhaustion there.

"Mm," Lightning hummed with a small nod. She glanced at her family one more time before she started walking to her bedroom to get clothes and sheets. And to get out of the dress. As much as Serah liked seeing Lightning in the dress, it wasn't worth keeping it on any longer. Everyone was tired, so it was time to sleep.
Snow rested in a recliner just inside the living room, slouching. "Man, that was some party," he commented with a smile. "Who knew kids threw such great weddings these days?" He looked up at his wife, chuckling a little. He caught Riku shake his head in good nature before going toward the kitchen, but at least the married couple's friend took it in stride. Sora and Kairi weren't really kids anymore; they were young adults. Snow could even tell that their relationship was strong from afar. They would make it.

Light came out within a minute or two, wearing sweats and a tank-top. Of course that was what she would wear to bed; something casual and comfortable. She had been with Riku long enough that she didn't need to show off fancy clothes to win his affection. Somehow, she had done that naturally. She walked into the living room and dropped the sheets on the floor, figuring she'd unfold the couch later. Where'd Riku go, though?
"Hope," Riku called. Just as the boy turned, Riku tossed the water bottle to him. He caught it with both hands, nodding to Riku in thanks as the silver-haired teen tossed one to Snow as well, who caught it swiftly with one hand. Riku handed one off to Serah once he was in the living room completely, figuring he and Lightning could share one. He didn't want to take all of Lightning's water bottles within five minutes anyway. He spotted his beloved nearby, blinking at her suddenly different appearance. "That was quick," he commented. Ready for bed already?

Light's lips turned up in a faint smirk. "I was in that dress long enough," she declared. She did hate dressing up formally, though she put up with it for the sake of others today. Basically, she only dressed up for weddings. She could only think of one other occasion where she wore a dress and let Serah doll her up, and that had been a really unusual and special day. It was the day she returned from the future for the second time.
Riku smirked as well. "It was only a few hours," he commented, but at the same time, he knew that felt like forever to Lightning. It didn't bother him too much that she didn't like getting dressed up; he preferred her just the way she was. She wasn't high maintenance, and Riku didn't have a tolerance for it. Another way they were perfect for each other.

"Only a few hours?" Lightning asked with an arched brow, fighting the urge to roll her eyes. A few hours was a long time to be stuck in a dress. Over to the side, she heard Serah sigh in disbelief. But of course, it wasn't a real sigh, not completely. Serah knew how Lightning was by now and accepted her for how she was.
Riku glanced over at Serah and his smirk remained. "Don't worry, Serah," he said, though his eyes then found Lightning again. "She'll be dressing up again soon enough." What was he getting at, Lightning may have wanted to know? Well, she would just have to wait to find out.

"Will I?" Lightning challenged with an arched brow. She couldn't think of any times that she would be dressed up again. What, did Riku plan on taking her on some fancy date where she would need to wear a dress? She supposed that she could dress up for that, but she would be grumbling about it for a while. Dresses and makeup really weren't her things.
Snow's eyebrows furrowed in confusion, but then it clicked. "Hey..." he said, beginning to smile as he pointed a finger at Riku slightly. The boy looked over at him then and raised his chin slightly, proud that someone caught on. Snow couldn't help but chuckle, shaking his head. Oh boy.

Lightning, dense when it came to issues like this even after dating Riku for a while, shot Snow a confused look. "What?" she asked, catching onto the fact that she missed something. She had no clue what it was, though. Her blue eyes landed on Riku again, her eyebrow arched faintly in question. What's going on?
Riku heard Hope's small chuckle blend with Snow's, and his smirk grew in size as he looked to the woman he loved. He lifted his eyebrows repeatedly in a taunting manner before turning toward the hall. Be patient with me, Light. Our time will come soon enough.

Lightning knew that Riku wasn't going to talk, but there was somebody else in the room she could frighten into submission. She looked over at Snow, a frightening smirk appearing on her lips. "Alright, if that's how you wanna play it," she said smoothly. "Snow, let's have a talk." You're going to tell me what just happened. Now.

Snow's chuckles stopped instantly, and he looked from Lightning to where Riku was about to disappear behind a wall. "Hey, man, don't you leave me with her!" he called, nervous. He knew how Lightning could get, and even if he could handle it, he didn't necessarily like it.

"Sorry, bro," Riku called with a faint wave of his hand, chuckling as he disappeared down the hall. Snow could deal with Lightning's questioning while Riku changed out of his tux. Something he would wear in the future, he was sure.

Lightning approached Snow, bending down in front of him so that she was at eye level. "What's going on, Snow?" she asked casually, though her tone showed that this wasn't just going to be a normal conversation. He was going to spill whatever was going on in Riku's head. How he saw and she didn't was a mystery to her, so she wanted some clarity.
Snow leaned back into his seat, avoiding eye contact with the woman in front of him. "I...I don't know what you're talking about," he muttered, scratching the side of his head as he looked at his lap. But then he made the bad decision to look up and see her face, which instantly caused him to look away. Serah...

"Lightning," Serah said in protest, though her voice showed amusement. There was no need for her to interrogate Snow; she would figure out what Riku implied sometime. When the time was right. And Serah would be furious with Snow if he spilled the beans. The question was, which Farron did Snow fear more? She gave Snow a look, telling him not to spill, while Lightning continued giving him the opposite look.
Snow saw Serah's look, and then witnessed Lightning's. He closed his eyes and put a hand to his forehead, shaking his head of blond hair. "Damn you, Riku!" he cried, then sighing. The guy set him up; that was why he left at such an inappropriate time. All he could hear afterward was Riku's laughter just down the hall.
