Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Who do you fear more, Snow?" Lightning asked lowly, reaching forward and grabbing his tie. She yanked it so he was a little closer to him. "Me or Serah?" If you know what's good for you, you better fear me more. She could physically hurt him worse. She knew Serah was scary when she was angry too, but she inherited that from Lightning, not the other way around.
Hope watched as Snow swallowed, obviously unsure of what to say. He sat on the edge of his seat, his own eyes resting on Lightning. "Uh...Light..." he tried gently. He knew she was just joking, but underneath that exterior, she was serious. How didn't she get it? What Riku wanted to do in the future? It was so obvious to the rest of them, and he was positive Lightning was intelligent enough to figure it out. But Snow looked intimidated, so maybe it was best to go easy on the guy.

Light glanced over at Hope out of the corner of her eye before looking back to Snow. Though he looked scared, she didn't care much for his sake because he should have just spilled the beans at the start. But because Hope was there, she'd show compassion. She released his tie, standing upright. You're lucky, she thought silently to him. If Hope wasn't there, she would have pushed him until he broke. Some other day.
Riku heard a sigh as he walked down the hall, though it sounded like one of relief. Snow, he thought instantly, smirking. So he got him in trouble...so what? It wasn't like Lightning really did anything...yet. The nineteen year old walked into the living room in sweats and a beater, making eye contact with Hope immediately. The younger boy nodded to him to show everything was okay, not that Riku worried too much in the first place.

Light fought the urge to roll her eyes when Serah walked up behind Snow's chair and put her hands on his shoulders before giving him a kiss on his hair. You're just doing that because he didn't give into me, she thought. But oh well. She sensed another presence in the room, so she turned her head and saw Riku standing there. Obviously she didn't figure out what he implied yet, but she would soon enough.
Riku couldn't help but want to laugh, seeing how relieved Snow looked that Serah was closer and Lightning was further away. Of course, he had to hold that laughter in, since Lightning clearly wasn't pleased that she was being left out of the loop. She wouldn't be left out for much longer, though; she just had to be patient.

Lightning looked over at Riku, arching a brow at how he was holding in laughter. "No chance of breaking you either, huh?" she assumed. She could try to interrogate him, but he wouldn't be suckered into that. Maybe the cold shoulder...But she really didn't want to do that, especially not with her family here. What am I supposed to do?
Riku shook his head, his smirk reappearing as he gazed at the woman he loved. Instead of giving an explanation, he simply said two words. "Be patient," he advised softly, nodding to Lightning. That was all she needed right now, patience. Her day would come soon enough.

Serah saw Lightning's expression, and she shook her head faintly. Lightning was patient when it came to battle, but when it came to secrets, she could be nosy. "Well, you won't get it out of any of us tonight anyway, so being patient is your only choice," she said to her sister, adding onto what Riku said before she looked back down at her husband. "I think it's time for us to go to bed." She was pretty tired, and she was sure everyone else was too.
Snow looked up at the woman who stood behind his chair, smiling slightly. "Right," he agreed with a faint nod. He lowered his chin to see the others, lifting a hand. "See you guys in the morning." He then pushed himself up, ready to get out of his suit and tie and get into bed. He danced hard today, especially when he had to put a lot of effort in to get Lightning moving. That had been tough.

Lightning took a step back to give Snow more room, since she was still close to his chair. She glanced over at Serah and saw her sister give a wave in goodnight, saying her farewells as she followed her husband out of the room. If Riku was staying the whole night, she'd be happy. She hadn't seen much of him lately.
Hope rose from his seat as well, glancing at Snow as he started out of the room. "I guess I'll get going too," he said with a faint nod. He looked to Lightning and Riku, though his gaze returned to the former. "See you." He knew he was taking Lightning's room for tonight, and he would be sure to make the bed when he woke the next morning. It was the least he could do, after all.

Light nodded faintly to Hope, lifting a hand slightly in farewell. She knew he would sleep well; her bed was comfortable. She couldn't believe that he was here in the first place. It had been such a big surprise, but she had loved it so much. She would have to be sure to thank Snow and Serah for it when she had the chance to.
Riku watched as Hope made his way out, and he then looked to the ground, thinking. He meant what he said, when he told Serah earlier that Lightning would be dressing up again. That wish was going to come true. Lightning would be his someday, for real.

Lightning shifted her gaze to Riku once they were the only two in the room, and she had to arch a brow at how he was staring at the ground. Something wrong? she thought silently, her gaze saying the same even if he wasn't looking at her. Maybe he was just tired; he did have a busy week.

Riku felt Lightning's eyes on him instantly, his senses picking up on it rather quickly. He turned his head to meet her gaze, his half-smile returning. "Sorry," he mumbled, rubbing his neck. He was in a daze lately, with the wedding and stuff. It reminded him of what he wanted to do in his future, a time very important to him.

Light only smiled softly, shaking her head faintly. It's okay. She couldn't be upset with him when he looked so cute like that, in a daze and a bit sheepish. He was under a lot of pressure lately, so she wouldn't add to it. If anything, she would try to lessen it even now, if there was still pressure remaining for some reason.
Riku's half-smile remained as he lowered his hand, a small nod coming from him as his gaze stayed on Lightning. He was ready to see her in white, but the moments that built up to that would be great. First, he had to propose. He already had ideas in mind, and he thought about running them by Serah, but he would wait. It was too soon, since Sora and Kairi just finished their wedding. He would give it a few months first.

Claire continued gazing at Riku for a few more moments before she moved closer to the coffee table. She began to move it out of the way, since if the couch was going to be expanded into a futon, it would hit the coffee table. The last thing that she wanted to do that night was destroy furniture meaninglessly.
Riku snapped out of yet another daze, seeing what Lightning was doing. At the realization, he moved a few pillows off the couch, tossing them to the other sofa. Once that was done, he started to turn the couch into the futon they would be sleeping on for the night. He didn't mind it, since he'd slept in more uncomfortable places in the past. A futon was glorious compared to concrete.

Lightning finished unfolding the futon along with Riku before she put on the blankets. She didn't even bother to ask if he was staying; the fact that he was silently helping her said as much. He would have given her some warning before saying goodbye, so obviously he didn't plan on saying farewell tonight. That was perfectly alright with her. She straightened the pillows, glancing at Riku when the bed was set for the two of them.
Riku decided to embrace his childish side, spreading out along the futon and leaving little to no room for Lightning to lie down. He sighed, lying on his stomach as he exhaled. "Feels nice," he muttered into a pillow, smiling in amusement and because he was right. It did feel good to lie down.

Light chuckled, sitting down on Riku's back instead of attempting to lie down in what little space he left for her. "Glad you're enjoying the futon enough for the both of us," she said as she set a hand on Riku's back. Goof. As often as he was serious, he did have a goofy side that resurfaced pretty often. It was good that one of them was actually lighthearted despite the seriousness they often portrayed to others.
Riku grunted when Lightning sat on him, weight he hadn't expected. Regardless, he opened his eyes and tried to look at her, his half-smile still against his lips. "Don't be too jealous," he advised playfully, his tone soft so he didn't wake anyone else in the condo. He doubted he would; today had been tiring, so everyone would be out quickly.

"Me, jealous?" Lightning scoffed. "Yeah right. Now I can get the recliner to myself. It's probably much more comfortable." Just to prove it, she got off of Riku's back and walked over to it before plopping down in it. "So nice," she sighed, leaning back and shutting her eyes. And it actually was. She was tired of being on her feet.
