Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora smacked the last guard down to the ground with his Keyblade, disappearing down the alleyway with his friends once they weren't being followed anymore. "We need to duck inside," he panted, Keyblades hovering behind him as he caught up to his friends. He looked at Kairi, heart aching in pain at the sight of her wounded. At least she was alive. If she died today too... He didn't think about it. He saw a doorway up ahead to the right and hoped Riku would be smart enough to take them inside there for now.
Riku looked around, but that was when he called to Lightning's brother-in-law. "Snow," he said, motioning toward the door. The older man didn't hesitate kicking the door in, allowing them access. He walked in with Lightning first, Noel following with Kairi shortly after. They would be safe in here, at least for now.

Sora came in last, shutting the door behind them all before looking to Noel's arms. Jealousy flared at the sight of her in somebody else's arms, but he was mostly worried. "Put her down," he said to Noel, keeping his Keyblade in his grasp. He'd heal her. He always wanted to be the one to heal her, considering that she was his soul mate.
Noel nodded, moving to the couch that was in this room and starting to set Kairi down. The movement made her moan again in agony, a small whimper escaping her. It hurt Noel to see someone in pain like this. "You'll need to get the bullet out," he told Sora. Her shoulder wouldn't heal properly if the bullet wasn't taken out. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Riku set Lightning down on the other couch in the bland room. Nobody was going anywhere for a while.

Sora nodded softly, kneeling down in front of his beloved. "Easy, Kai," he said gently, wiping her hair out of her face as all the anger and rage from battle faded away. He looked down at her shoulder, seeing the bullet. It struck bone; it wasn't in too deep. "It's not so bad. I'm gonna get it out, okay?" He would be as quick and gentle as he possibly could be.
"N-no!" Kairi squealed in fright, stiffening as she lifted her opposite arm and grabbed Sora's hand. "Don't touch it...please..." It hurt way too much. Her shoulder was on fire, and just moving was enough to make her scream. She couldn't handle it if Sora tried to get the bullet. She wasn't strong enough for this yet.

Sora's eyes softened, his hand gently wrapping around Kairi's hand as he gazed at her fearful eyes. He knew what was going to happen, and it killed him. He was going to put her in worse pain, if only for a minute. "It'll be over in a minute, I promise," he said softly. All the pain would go away once he took out the bullet and Cured her. She just had to be patient with him while he did it. He had faith that she could do it...
Kairi felt a tear leave her eye and trickle down her cheek as she looked at her husband. This was going to hurt so bad. She shut her eyes and released his hand, a small whimper leaving her. It didn't matter what she did; Sora was going to take the bullet out. The pain was going to get worse.

"I'm sorry, sweetie," Sora said softly, sweeping Kairi's red hair behind her shoulders. Since he leaned in to perform the action, he gave her a gentle kiss on the forehead before returning to his previous position. I'll just be a minute. You'll be okay. He lowered his gaze to the wound, squinting to see where the bullet was. They were fortunate he could get it with his fingers and didn't need a pair of tweezers, because he doubted those were stocked here.
Riku kept his position beside Lightning on the couch, sitting on the edge of it so she could lie down. But his eyes weren't on her right now; they were on his best friend. Kairi's tears were more obvious now, a few more falling down her face as she anticipated Sora's next move. It was going to hurt, badly, and she knew it. It made Riku's eyes soften. Sorry, Kairi...

Sora set one hand lightly on Kairi's waist to comfort her, the other reaching towards her shoulder. He was slow and deliberate, though the slowness wasn't just from caution. Obviously he was hesitant to touch her and cause her pain. When he was close enough, he knew that he couldn't hesitate anymore. He gently held the bullet between his thumb and index finger, starting to pull it out with great care.
Kairi instantly felt the burning in her shoulder, though it increased tenfold with the movement of the bullet. She screamed, eyes squeezing shut tightly as she reached for Sora's hand. He had to stop! It hurt way too much... He had to stop! More tears fell from her eyes at the pain, the girl squirming a bit as she tried to move away from it. She didn't want to feel it anymore.

Sora's eyes widened, and reflex caused his next actions. He moved his hand off Kairi's waist and grabbed hers that was ready to interfere as he extracted the bullet. "It's done," he quickly said, tossing the bullet over his shoulder to the ground as he cast Cure on her shoulder. He started shaking, horrified at Kairi's scream. His voice also shook a little as he repeated himself. "It's done."
The Cure spell was like a godsend, cooling the fire that burned Kairi's shoulder. Fire spells were dull in comparison, at least in her mind at that moment. A tear fell from her eyes as she opened them, looking to her husband as the pain slowly subsided. She squeezed his hand, hating pain. And hating to have him witness it. She knew Sora wouldn't forget this for a long time.

Sora set a hand on Kairi's knee as he lowered himself down to his own knees, his head bowed as he shut his eyes. He had registered the look in Kairi's eyes and knew what she was feeling; she was sorry that he had to see her in so much pain. He was sorry too, because he hated this type of situation. It was why he tried to keep Kairi as far away from pain as possible. As strong as she could be in battle, she had a low pain tolerance.
Kairi closed her eyes and slowly let her tears disappear, the wound on her shoulder closing. The blood was still there, staining her clothes and her skin, but she wasn't worried about that. She had been sliced by blades multiple times in the past, but a bullet hurt worse. Or her pain tolerance was pathetically low. She wasn't made to be a fighter, not now and not ever.

Sora's thumb stroked over Kairi's knee in silence, opening his eyes and staring at the ground. Now that it was all over, the room was eerily silent. He could see Lightning lying down on another couch next to Riku by the other side of the room and Noel was standing nearby to make sure Kairi was okay. Snow was out of Sora's sight, but he was certain that man was still in the room.
"You okay, Kairi?" Riku called softly, worry evident in his voice. Not only for her, but his love as well. He witnessed his best friend nod in silence before he accepted her answer. He never liked to hear her scream; it was unpleasant to experience. But at least the pain was over now. Riku couldn't really say the same for Lightning, though...

Light figured that Kairi nodded to Riku, because she wasn't looking over to see the rest of the room. She laid on her side with her back facing the rest of the room, Riku by her feet. Kairi's tears may have been done falling, but Lightning's silently slid down her cheeks and fell onto the couch cushion beneath her as she stared in front of her. Serah was dead. Gone. Forever.
Noel saw the blood on Kairi's shirt and skin, and he looked to her husband. "You should help her go get cleaned up," he suggested quietly. He felt like he couldn't break the silence; it was almost too tense. What just happened with Kairi, and what happened with Serah... It was all a nightmare Noel was sure everyone wished they could wake up from. But they couldn't. This was reality...

Sora nodded softly in recognition, though he stroked Kairi's knee for a few more seconds before he rose to his feet. He realized now that there was a bathroom in this place, down the hall. Though this was Valhallla, the technology and structure that was originally Pulse remained. That explained why there was a television on the wall, lamps, and even a computer in this room. It was a drab room, but the technology helped make things look better. He held out his hands for Kairi wordlessly, ready to help her to her feet.
Kairi took Sora's hands in silence, using his assistance to rise from the couch. She assumed the bathroom was down the hall, so she released her husband's hands and started in that direction. This whole situation--Valhalla, Serah, the tension--was awful. She just wanted to go home, but her home wasn't there anymore. Destiny Islands was now Valhalla.

Sora followed behind Kairi, shutting the door once they were in the bathroom to give them some privacy. It was hard to see where the wound was with the mess of blood that dried to her skin and clothes, but that would all be gone soon enough. After that, he'd hold onto her for a long time just to make sure that she was okay. Coping with pain wasn't easy for Kairi.
Kairi scrubbed the blood on her skin with soap and water, her shirt soaking in the sink as she was forced to go without it, at least for a little while. She didn't realize how much blood had leaked from her wound until now. Then again, it was hard to tell when she was in pain and blinded by it. But thank goodness for Sora. He made her feel safe, secure. He helped her in more ways than one, always.

Sora stood behind Kairi wordlessly as she cleaned herself up, his arms wrapping lightly around her bare stomach as he leaned his chin against her opposite shoulder. He had volunteered to wipe off her shoulder, but she had said that she'd do it herself. He was glad in a way, because now he had a chance just to hold onto her. This was his way of praising her for being brave and cleaning up after the whole thing.
