Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Kairi started getting aggravated after scrubbing, her skin only getting red with irritation, not clean. "It's not coming off," she said with a sigh, looking down at the now pink water in the sink due to her blood-stained shirt. She couldn't get the blood off her skin, and it only frustrated her more as she closed her eyes, placing her hands on the sink.

Sora hummed sympathetically, his arms remaining around Kairi. "Want me to try?" he asked softly. He could if Kairi really wanted him to, though he probably wouldn't scrub as fiercely as she was just now. After all, he was always, always gentle with her. And he always would be, because she was a treasure to him. His beloved.
Kairi turned around in Sora's arms, leaning her lower back against the counter as she lifted the hand holding the rag. Sora could try, but...she felt like she would have to shower a few times before the blood came off. It was unnerving, since seeing it would always be a reminder of the pain she experienced, but there was nothing else she could think to do.

Sora kept his hands on Kairi's lower back for a few seconds before he lifted the one and accepted the rag. He gave Kairi a quick kiss on the lips before he focused his attention on the shoulder. He gently began to scrub at the edges of the blood stain, his eyes staying solely focused on that. Now was no time to be considering everything else.
Kairi had closed her eyes at the brief kiss, but as she felt Sora tending to her shoulder, she opened them to gaze at the wall. This was all a mess. She just wanted to go home...but there was no home, not anymore. Whatever Valhalla was, she didn't like it. Not a bit. She came home from a wonderful honeymoon, expecting to enjoy married life with her friends and family...but now there was this. It was disappointing.

Sora continued wiping at it for a few minutes before setting the rag on Kairi's shoulder. "Keep trying, okay?" he said softly, realizing he managed to get some off but not all of it. "I'm going to go check around this place for an extra shirt." He highly doubted Kairi wanted to put her wet shirt back on.
Kairi nodded a little, lifting her hand to the rag on her shoulder. "Thank you," she whispered. Sora didn't have to do all this, but he was being a sweetheart. The guy she loved and married. She looked from the rag in her hand to his blue eyes, grateful to have him. She couldn't do this alone, any of it.

Sora smiled weakly, nodding to his beloved. He was glad that he could help. He tucked her hair behind her ear again before he opened the bathroom door, shut it behind him, and started away from the bathroom and living room. If there wasn't a shirt around, he'd let her borrow his. Nobody would care about him being shirtless for a little while.
Once Sora was gone, Kairi sighed and turned back toward the sink. She gazed at herself in the mirror and spotted the dried blood, lifting the rag to start getting it off. If it came off. Sora was successful in getting some of it, but she was left to finish. Kairi focused solely on that, not wanting to think about anything else outside this bathroom.

Sora returned to the bathroom within a few minutes, having found a white blouse that would fit Kairi nicely. He didn't bother going to the living room while he was out of the bathroom to tell Riku and the others that Kairi was okay; for some reason, he didn't feel a need to. Maybe it was the tension that flowed through the house when he and Kairi weren't speaking. It definitely didn't encourage conversation.
Kairi hadn't really succeeded in getting the blood off, but she did look at Sora through the mirror when he returned. She saw the shirt in his hands and smiled weakly, turning around. "Thank you, Sora," she told him softly. She wasn't sure where he got the blouse, but it looked like it was her size. It was better than nothing.

"You're welcome," Sora responded softly. But before handing over the shirt, he set it on an empty towel rack and allowed his hands to find Kairi's waist again. The warmth of her skin felt nice against his hands--and the softness of her skin was also indescribable. He lightly ran his thumbs over her, gazing at her eyes gently. She was beautiful.
Kairi took in the feeling of Sora's hands on her skin, remembering the way it sent her heart racing. Just as it did now. Their honeymoon had been fantastic. She had never been so happy in her life. The world they visited was beautiful, as was the love they made on their wedding night and afterward. Kairi had never felt more complete.

Sora leaned forward and gently connected his lips with Kairi's, shutting his eyes as he kissed her. He knew now wasn't the time to get wrapped up in romance; it was impossible to really do that right now anyway with how dark the world was. It was awful that the air was so full of death and sorrow. He wished he could change that, but he couldn't. Nobody could.
Kairi's eyes naturally fell closed at the kiss, something she hadn't really expected. But after getting shot, she could understand why Sora would want to show her a bit of affection; she could have gotten shot somewhere else, somewhere more deadly. She lifted her hand to his spikey hair, kissing him back in return.

Sora kissed Kairi for a few more moments before pulling back and simply leaning his forehead against hers. He knew that they should return to the living room, not that there was much living going on there. Everyone there was so depressed because of the loss, and he was sad too, just not to the same extent. After all, he didn't know Serah very well.
Kairi let her fingers run over Sora's spikes, having done it plenty of times on their honeymoon. But she was grateful for the opportunity now. Serah's death reminded everyone that anyone could go at any time, which was terrifying. She had come close, after all. "...I think I've done all I can," Kairi whispered, referring to the blood on her shoulder. She couldn't get anymore off right now, and she didn't want to be cooped up in here doing it.

"That's alright," Sora whispered, giving Kairi another quick kiss on the lips before he withdrew. He reached one hand out and grabbed the shirt, wordlessly holding it out for Kairi to take. If they were going to go and join the others, then she needed to put on a top, obviously. He wouldn't let her out otherwise.
Kairi set the rag down on the counter and wiped her wet hands off on her jean shorts. It was then that she took the blouse from Sora's grasp and started slipping it on; going out in only her top undergarment wasn't the best idea. She doubted Sora would even let her past the door without a shirt anyway. She buttoned it up and rolled the sleeves to her elbows, where it was more comfortable. It was then that she nodded to Sora. Her shirt needed to soak for a little while longer, so she would leave it in here.

Sora nodded softly, opening up the door and stepping outside. He waited for Kairi to walk in front of him though, not because he thought she should face the crowd first, but because he was a gentleman. Maybe it would have been better for him to go first, but he wasn't thinking like that at that very moment.
Kairi left the bathroom and walked down the hall, entering a tense and quiet living room. Nobody had moved; Riku was still with Lightning on the couch, Noel leaned against the arm of the other sofa, and Snow was still against the nearby wall. Kairi doubted anybody had even spoken to each other since she and Sora left.

Sora wordlessly entered the room, not seeing anyone look up and recognize him and Kairi. That was alright. Really, there was nothing for any of them to say to each other right now. He sat down on the couch Kairi was on before and looked down at the ground. Normally he was the one to break silences, but he wouldn't be that person today.

Kairi took a spot next to Sora, trying to avoid sitting in the spot where the bullet had been extracted. She instead drew her legs up to her chest, wrapping her arms around them as she gazed at Lightning and Riku across the room. She had been on her honeymoon, which had been so wonderful, only to come home to a nightmare. She met Riku's eyes briefly before she forced herself to look away. She couldn't look at him right now, not with the thoughts that were stirring within her.

Kairi's looked made Riku lift an eyebrow, confused. "...What?" he asked softly. What was that look--nearly glare--for? He hadn't done anything wrong, that he knew of anyway. Was she mad he didn't try to help her when she got hurt? He was busy helping Lightning; he would have only caused more of a problem if he attempted to help Kairi.

Sora looked over at Riku, confused at the question. But then he realized that his best friend was looking over at Kairi. He followed Riku's gaze to his wife, seeing her look of...anger. He recognized it as that, because he knew her so well. What was she upset about though? Serah's death?
"Nothing..." Kairi muttered, staring at the couch. Sora's gaze was on her now; she could never ignore the weight of his stare. But...what could she say? "...I just...I had a beautiful wedding and a lovely honeymoon, only to come back to a nightmare." It was just really disappointing. She couldn't get over it so easily.
