Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas knew that he wasn't going to make it over to Namine in time, which meant he had to take desperate measures. A guard came up to him then and he pierced through him with his Keyblade, leaving the weapon in him as he took the man's gun. Roxas then lifted it and pointed it at the guard who was about to shoot Namine. Roxas closed one of his eyes to shoot the weapon, and though he had no previous experience with guns, he understood the gist of it. Roxas pulled the trigger, the machine gun firing off loudly as he hit his target. The bullets struck the guard up and down the side of his body, preventing him from harming Namine further.

Namine ducked down to the ground at the barrage of bullets, though her stomach cried out in pain when it touched the ground. Her cry of pain went down into the ground, dimmed by all the other noises of war going on around them. She gritted her teeth and covered her head with her hands, fighting to stay conscious. Even with her lack of experience in wars, she knew she couldn't pass out here and now.
Roxas kept the gun in hand as he made his way toward Namine, having to shoot multiple guards down before he could reach her. Once he was there, he summoned his Keyblade back to him and created a shield to surround them, blocking out any harm for at least a minute. "Namine," he said, voice shaking with fear as he set the gun down and knelt next to her. He had to see the wound... He had to get her out of here if he could.

Namine carefully rolled over onto her side, only peeking her moist eyes open a second to look at Roxas before she squeezed them shut again. This pain was agonizing. The bullet had gone straight through her...It was fortunate that it hadn't hit her spine, because she doubted that any Cure spells would have cured paralysis. "P-please..." she stuttered to Roxas, referring to Curing her. He needed to make the pain go away...
Roxas caught onto Namine's message and nodded his head, Keyblade still in hand. He pointed it at her in silence and called to a Cure spell, one of the strongest versions he had. He watched as an herb appeared over Namine's head and graced her body with the power of healing. He hoped this worked well, because his shield was slowly thinning out.

Namine felt the pain fading away, the sensation of the healing cool compared to the burning that she felt from the bullet. A few more tears slid down her cheeks even after the healing was done, but she was sure that her expression conveyed relief. The pain was gone, thank goodness. She was okay.

Roxas looked up from Namine's relieved expression to see his shield disappearing, and he picked up the gun at his side. As soon as the shield was gone, he didn't hesitate pulling the trigger, firing off multiple bullets within seconds at the guards who were coming at them. What he didn't notice, however, was the fact that Aqua was still battling Lindzei, and neither of them was willing to give in.

Aqua let out a short cry of pain when Lindzei managed to punch her in the face again, but the Master retorted with a strong headbut to the goddess's nose. They rolled again, this time with Aqua on top as she summoned her Keyblade to her and took a swing at Lindzei, who swiftly blocked the hit with the metal plate of armor on her forearm. This woman was relentless! She just wouldn't give up!

Finally, Terra had a break with the guards that were interfering with him earlier. He started running towards the stage, calling out his friend's name as he lifted his Keyblade. "Aqua!" he cried. If she let Lindzei be on top of her, he'd blast the goddess into the Realm of Darkness. He noticed before that Aqua was going for something of the sort earlier in battle.
Aqua stupidly lifted her head at the cry, distracted by the random call of her name. That was her mistake. She suddenly felt a sharp pain slice across her chest, Lindzei switching the positions so she was on top of her. Aqua looked up at the woman, who now held a knife in her hands. She assumed the goddess kept it hidden in her belt, and now, she was threatening to stab Aqua with it. The Keyblade Master grasped Lindzei's hand with her own, struggling to keep the sharp object away from her throat. Terra! Terra, hurry!

Terra's aim was dead on even if he was running while his attack came. Focusing on his Dark powers, a beam of dark purple light came out the tip of his Keyblade and impacted the goddess. He stopped a few feet away and kept the beam on her, seeing the portal directly in front of him and his beam. C'mon, knock her in...he thought, increasing his strength.
Aqua saw the goddess cry out, her head going back in pain as the Darkness pierced her in the back. Aqua used this as her chance, grabbing the knife from Lindzei's hand and stabbing the woman in the chest with it, then using Terra's help to get her in the Portal. Aqua rolled backwards, at the same time kicking Lindzei off of her with her feet. The goddess flew toward the Dark Portal with a cry, Terra's beam of Darkness helping to propel her into it. Once she disappeared, Aqua huffed. "...Enjoy your own torment," she cursed the goddess. Her time here was done.

Terra jumped up onto the stage, swinging his hefty Keyblade at the machine that created the dark portal in the first place. There was no way that they wanted Lindzei returning through it somehow and haunting their world. He smashed it several times, and on the last swing, the portal finally disappeared. A pant of relief left his lips, though his eyes darted to Aqua as soon as that matter was taken care of. "You okay?"
Aqua slowly pushed herself up to her hands and knees, then rising to her feet. She lifted a hand to her chest, where her outfit was sliced open a little and revealing some of her skin. It was still wearable, thank goodness. She lightly touched the wound as she nodded to Terra, wincing as she casted a Cure spell on herself to get rid of the injury, as well as a few others. It wasn't time for a heavy spell, though; there was still a rebellion going on here. However, she figured she and Terra could make it stop with ease now that Lindzei was gone.

Terra looked out at the battlefield, where he noticed not many people were still fighting. Those that were fighting on their side stole guns from fallen soldiers and were using them against the enemy. Most of the enemies, however, were either dead or surrendering. Glancing over the area again, with a specific pairing in sight, he noticed Namine healing some of the fallen citizens of Destiny Islands and Roxas watching her back. "It's over," he declared softly.

Aqua took a few steps over to stand beside Terra, looking over the battlefield. The town square was covered in bodies, both allies and enemies, as well as the wounded. "Thank goodness," she said to his declaration. This rebellion was a success, unlike the last. The danger here was expelled.

Terra's eyebrows furrowed at another realization, this one not so pleasant. "And the world is still like this." He wasn't shocked. A few days ago when Lindzei first appeared, she prattled on about how there were three gods. All he could do was hope that Sora and Kairi were able to find the other and defeat them. And that Riku and Lightning were alright as well.
"Lindzei is gone," Aqua said, eyebrows furrowing. "But that doesn't mean everything will turn back the way it was. We have to find the other gods." Whoever they were, they were keeping their world like this. Like Valhalla. She took a step over and hopped down from the platform. "First thing's first. We have to clean up our mess." They couldn't leave these bodies here to rot; a lot of them were members of a family. Aqua wasn't okay with leaving them here without a proper funeral. They would figure everything else out later.
  • Author
"Right," Terra agreed with a nod. He jumped down off the platform as well, looking around and seeing the deaths that were caused in this chaos. He frowned in disgust but knew that he had to keep his chin up. Their deaths weren't for nothing. He'd make sure of that. He started out to do what he could, wanting to get it done and over with for his own closure and the closure of the surviving families.
Roxas helped with removing the bodies from the square, while Namine and a few other medics tended to the wounded. As for the guards who surrendered, they were being tied up by other rebels. Once the bodies were cleaned up, it was time to dig graves on the outskirts of town. It took a long time, but once it was done, a funeral was done for those lost in battle. Men, women, and children. Tears were shed at the ceremony, but everyone did the right thing in offering a proper burial.
  • Author
Namine wiped at her tears during the ceremony, knowing that she was a mess but not caring. All of them weren't properly cleaned up or anything since they held this funeral as soon as they could. Even if she didn't recognize a single person from the Islands here in Valhalla, she was sad for their passing. She hoped that somehow they knew it wasn't all in vain.

Gran Pulse, Valhalla

Riku slept for quite a few hours in a dreamless sleep, the house quiet apart from his and Light's breathing. But after a while, he woke up due to a bad feeling in his senses. It was like a form of Darkness was near...but he couldn't tell where it was coming from. At the same time, he knew it wasn't harmful, at least in a physical sense. But...what was it?

  • Author
Lightning was in the same position that she fell asleep in, tangled up in Riku's arms and breathing evenly. She was dead to the world though--almost literally. The last time that Lightning had slept, she had been under Etro's protection from Caius's dream spell. Now she wasn't, and though Riku healed the wound, some of the chaos still lingered. That was why she had been experiencing hallucinations and why now she was experiencing a dream that she wanted to become her reality.
Riku looked down at Lightning, still in the same position. She hadn't moved, so neither had he. But once he rested his eyes on her, his senses jumped in alert. It was like...he sensed the Darkness coming from her. But that was impossible...
  • Author
This is the reality that should have existed, Lightning realized. This was where she belonged. She was in Bodhum, living in the same house she grew up in. The house was empty except for her and a yellow lab, but her sister lived right next door along with her husband Snow. And on the opposite side of Light's house, Hope Estheim lived with his father. Everyone was so happy here...Lightning had never seen Serah smile so often before in her entire life. It was glorious.
"...Lightning," Riku called softly, looking at her while she was in such close proximity. He could see her well, and she appeared to be smiling in her sleep. Whatever dream she was having, it was pleasant...but why did she radiate Darkness? It didn't make any sense. "Light," he tried again. He wondered what exactly was going on, though he felt bad that he would have to wake her to find out.
