Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku's eyes were locked on Lightning's, and for that moment, he forgot anybody else was in the room. Whatever she had in mind, he wanted her to forget it. They were supposed to protect each other, and while he was trying...it seemed like she was giving up on life. Riku jumped when Snow suddenly pushed Lightning forward, though he moved with her. Apparently Snow was really planning on going...

Namine jumped along with Riku when she saw Snow begin to lead Lightning out of the room. Though her bravery may have been foolishness, she stepped in front of the door. "Snow...Serah wouldn't want this," she tried gently. Serah wouldn't want to be alive at Lightning's expense, or have Snow doing this at all.
Roxas reached forward instantly, grabbing Namine's arm. "Nam...move," he told her quietly. She couldn't get in the same position as Kairi was a few moments ago, and worse than that, Snow now had a gun. Stepping up to face him wasn't the best idea.

Namine looked over at Roxas, eyes moist with sorrow. "But..." If Snow got Lightning out of here, she would be killed. How could they just stand by and let Snow lead Lightning out of here? It wasn't right...This whole situation was heartbreaking. How could Snow's fury lead him to this type of desperation?
Roxas looked from Namine to Lightning. Don't let him defeat you, he silently told her. Whether he was referring to Snow or Pulse, Lightning would have to figure out on her own. He just knew that nobody would be the same if Lightning was gone, just as they weren't with Serah out of the picture. Roxas looked back to the one he loved and tugged on her wrist to pull her away from Lightning and Snow. This wasn't Namine's battle... It was only Lightning and Snow's.

Namine stepped over towards Roxas with his tugging, seeing Snow and Lightning exit the scene through her blurry vision. She didn't dare look outside after them, certain that Snow trusted they wouldn't follow. He still had the gun to Lightning's head, so he would shoot her if he had to. None of them could risk that happening...

Noel watched the door close, and that was when he turned to the others. "...We're going after them, aren't we?" he asked. He knew they were going to; nobody would just let this happen, despite how Snow managed to get Lightning out the door.

Riku met Noel's eyes and nodded. "Right," he said. He wasn't about to let Lightning get taken from him, not like this. He wasn't going to lose her because of Snow, or to Pulse. It would have to be over his dead body.

Lightning didn't bother trying to reason to Snow as he lead her deeper into the city. She knew it wouldn't do her any good, and besides, Snow still had the gun to her. If she ticked him off enough, she knew that he would shoot. Though she didn't fear death for her own sake, she feared it for Riku's. He'd be heartbroken if she died. He was the one on her mind as they ascended to a room that looked like Etro's throne room, where Pulse sat and gazed at them with a wicked smile.
Snow kept his grip on Lightning, tight and hard. He wasn't about to let her go, not when they finally reached their destination. He stopped not too far from where Pulse rested, his eyes on the god. "I did what you asked," Snow said, gun still at Lightning's temple. "You've got her... Now give me back my wife!"

Pulse smiled, laid back as he pushed himself up from the seat and took a few steps forward. "First thing's first," he said, eyeing the two with amusement. "Knock her out." Snow should have been able to do that much with her, considering that he had the gun prepared to fire at any second if Lightning fought back. Good thing she was smart enough to not resist, but other than that, these humans were complete buffoons.

Snow hesitated only a second, but he was sure no one noticed. He took the gun in his hand and drew it back, then swinging it at Lightning's head. He was stronger than normal due to his l'cie powers lingering within his system, so the force was probably more than enough to knock the woman out. It helped that he was furious with her for killing Serah; half of the force behind the hit was from his fury.

Pulse's smile widened when Lightning's body crumpled in Snow's hold. She was most certainly unconscious from a hit like that. But he had no need to check for himself. Whether she was truly unconscious or not, she and Snow would die today. "Lay her at my feet," he ordered. He was so going to enjoy this. He almost wished he kept Lightning awake so that she could hear what he would tell Snow, but this was how it was going to go now. He wouldn't have regrets.

Snow lifted Lightning in his hold, having holstered his gun so he could properly carry her over to Pulse. He did as the god said, laying Lightning at his feet before backing up a few steps. He looked at the god in silence, waiting for Serah. He did as Pulse said, and now it was the god's turn to keep his promise.

Pulse's smile turned more wicked as he looked from Lightning to Snow. He liked this, having her lay at his feet. He felt even more powerful than usual. And Snow's dependence on him was also thrilling. He laughed, shaking his head in amusement. "Foolish human," he said. "You must know that there is no way to resurrect the dead." And even if there was, Pulse wouldn't do it.

Snow blinked, not sure what to do...or say. Pulse just played him? He brought Lightning just like he asked; he did his part! It was Pulse's turn! "...You promised!" he hollered. This had to be some sick joke.

"I suppose I did," Pulse commented as he knelt down by Lightning. He fingered her pink hair, though he kept his eyes on Snow. "But I am not a god of life. All that I do is deliver death." Snow would die here today, and so would the young maiden whose hair he was playing with. But not before he revealed a little secret to Snow. If he didn't do that, his fun wouldn't be complete.

Snow's hands curled into fists at the words, and the smug look on the god's face. "Go to hell!" he hollered in outrage, taking a small step forward with the bellow. He couldn't believe he fell for such a trick. He betrayed Serah's sister in order to get his wife back, and now he was told it was never going to happen. Snow was played, a pawn in Pulse's game. How sick.

Pulse remained unfazed by Snow's holler. "I'll tell you a little secret before I deliver you miserable creatures to your deaths," he said casually. "About your wife's death. Etro's eyes were never actually given by the goddess Etro. They were, in fact, a curse to Etro's followers that was given out by Bhunivelze." He smirked, glancing down at the unconscious girl. "Etro's power resting in Serah had absolutely nothing to do with her death. You've laid an innocent person by my feet." Lightning wasn't responsible in any way for Serah's death.

Snow grunted, looking from Lightning to Pulse and then back again. You mean...? He set Lightning up for death...when she had nothing to do with this? This whole time he believed she was responsible, and she was actually innocent? No... No way... That couldn't be right.

"I'm feeling a change in the winds," Pulse said after a few moments, considering his options. "Why don't you flee? I'll allow you to live with the knowledge that you sentenced your sister to death." He moved to grab one of Lightning's arms in order to take her away. If Snow stayed, he'd simply kill Lightning here, in front of his eyes. Whatever unfolded was fine with him.

Snow shook his head immediately, not even thinking about the motion. "N-no," he said softly. He couldn't just leave Lightning, even if he did bring her here. It just didn't seem right, not after hearing the truth. "No, I won't let you hurt her." He felt ridiculous, saying things like that; Snow was the one who brought Lightning here in the first place, and knocked her out, blamed her for Serah's death. He was nowhere near the hero in this story, but he wasn't about to let his family get hurt. Serah... She would hate him if he let that happen. She probably hated him now.

"That's a shame," Pulse said, voice sickeningly sympathetic as he pulled Lightning's knife out of its spot in her sword case. It was Serah's knife to her, so that would make this even more ironic if she was killed by it. "You think you can be redeemed. But there's no going back now. You're both at my mercy." They'd both die at his hand, but Lightning would be the first.

Snow instantly became angry, forgetting his own sorrow and self-pity. He eyed the knife before closing the distance. "Like hell I am!" he cried, swinging his leg around to kick Pulse in the head. But even if he made the move, he doubted it would land, even if he wanted it to.

Pulse easily ducked, avoiding the swinging leg. Snow shouldn't have allowed his rage to control him; it wasn't a wise move when he was dealing with a very calculated and sadistic god. He stopped playing with Lightning's hair for a moment, lifting that hand and grasping Snow's foot before he shoved the man backwards. Then he continued, eyes shining with amusement. Humans were such interesting creatures. Foolish, but still interesting.

Snow stumbled back a few feet, pathetically falling onto his back from the shove. He grunted and sat up, eyes finding Lightning immediately. Wake up, Lightning! he willed her. However, he knew that she wouldn't wake up soon; his knockout was too strong to last only a few minutes.

Roxas glanced out of the corner of his eye at Riku, who was slightly ahead of him in the building. He could tell Riku wanted nothing more than to find Lightning, but they had to keep searching. A loud holler from within alerted them that Snow was here, just like they thought, but finding him was the trick. Apparently Riku didn't have trouble, though, insisting everyone follow him down the hallways and through various rooms. He must have caught a trail.
