Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku didn't grace Pulse with a response, and he doubted his friends would either. Pulse was sadistic, but they conquered him. They could do the same with Bhunivelze. They had to, that way things could be right again. Or as right as they could be.

Sora watched Pulse fade away, staying silent along with everyone else. Pulse said...If all three gods were defeated, the timeline would be restored, but it'd be different. Sora wouldn't be a Keyblade Master and Kairi wouldn't be his girl. He was glad to see Pulse gone before he could kill Lightning but...he was scared. He was scared of losing his life.
Riku sighed softly once Pulse was gone, looking from where the man faded away to the woman he loved. "You okay?" he asked lowly, eyes hard with anger, concern, and concentration all mixed together. He was glad to see she was alive, though the traces of blood were unsettling.

Lightning nodded faintly in silence. She was okay...but she didn't know why. She couldn't help but look over at Snow, wondering what the heck happened and how he switched sides. First he was all for killing Lightning, then he wasn't. It didn't make any sense at all to her.

Snow felt Lightning's eyes on him, and he briefly glanced at her. However, he quickly looked over at Hope, smiling gratefully at the young man. "Thanks for the hand," he said with a small nod. If Hope hadn't stepped in, Snow was sure Lightning would have died.

Hope nodded, folding his weapon and sheathing it on his back. "You guys mind filling me in?" he asked, looking at everyone in the room. "I've been a little busy." He wasn't sure of what all was going on; only that Valhalla covered every world in the universe.

Lightning's eyes narrowed as she stared at her sister's former husband. Snow had a habit of being too casual when things were serious, and that was how he was now. And it was severely ticking her off. "Thanks for the hand?" she repeated, a fire shining in her eyes for the first time since Serah's death. "What the heck? If you're just trying to play this off..." It wasn't going to work. At all.
Snow rolled his eyes, sighing. He turned his head to look at Lightning. "You really want to do this now?" he asked, eyebrows furrowing. This could wait until later. At least, he thought so. But it seemed not everyone thought the same thing.

"You just tried to kill me," Lightning said lowly, walking over to the wall and pulling out Serah's blade. Not that she planned on using it on Snow--she just didn't plan on losing it today. "I'd say that's something that needs to be addressed." And she wanted to know what changed. Obviously Pulse turned against him, but was that it?

Snow glanced over at Riku, Hope, and then the others still in a group. "...This can wait," he told Lightning, his eyes finding her once again. This discussion needed to happen, sure, but not here. Not in front of all these people.

"Actually, I don't think it can," Riku said, dismissing his blade. He crossed his arms over his chest, glaring at Snow. "I'd like to hear it." Anybody that tried to hurt Lightning, or took her to her death, dealt with Riku too. This wasn't something that would just be let go.

"You're just a coward," Lightning spat after a few moments of studying Snow. He chickened out of killing her and now he was trying to weasel his way out of the situation. "Next time you try to kill me, you better have the guts to follow through." She glared at Snow as she started walking to go past him. She meant what she said, too. If he was going to sentence her to death, he needed to follow through.

Snow met the glare, but he didn't return it; he accepted it. It wasn't like he could really blame Lightning for being angry with him, or even worse than that. He did lead her to her death, because of his own selfish desire. He should have known better. Snow lifted his gaze from the floor when he saw someone approaching, his blue eyes meeting those of aquamarine. "Look, Riku, I--umph!" Snow fell to the ground in a heap, his jaw instantly aching from the rough punch to the face.

Riku's hand remained in a fist, his body tense with fury as he glared at Snow. "That's for nearly killing my girlfriend," he spat, not at all sorry for the slug he just dealt. He saw the hurt in Snow's eyes, but he didn't care. He couldn't, not when another tragic reality nearly set in. "Traitor," the young man hissed, walking by Snow as he followed Lightning out. In his fury, he neglected to notice Hope's obvious confusion, but he was sure Hope would hear it all soon enough.

Lightning walked past everyone else, glad they weren't stupid enough to stand in her way. They didn't want repeats of what happened earlier, with Snow nearly punching Kairi in frustration. Lightning wasn't about slug anybody who didn't deserve it; heck, she didn't even punch Snow. She was more sad than angry as she looked down at the knife she held in front of her, the tip covered in her own blood.
Riku met a few glances, but he didn't read them too carefully. He just walked a few feet behind Lightning, passing everyone. He knew they were heading back to the house, and he was okay with it. They had a lot of sorting out to do, anyway. Hope would be joining them, but Riku wasn't so sure about Snow.

Lightning's hands began to shake. This weapon almost killed her. A weapon that Serah gave her. That shook her to the core. She stared down at it, hearing at least Riku's footsteps behind her. If he asked her what was up, she wasn't sure how she'd answer. How could she make him understand when she barely got it herself?
Riku glanced up while he walked, and that was when he made himself walk a little faster to be next to Lightning. She looked off, as she should have been considering what just happened. He walked beside her, gazing at her with hard, concerned eyes. What was going through her head?

Lightning slowly lowered her hands, switching the knife to be in only one as she put it back in her pack where it belonged. It would have been fitting, she realized, for me to die by a weapon connected to Serah. After all, Serah died because of something Lightning gave her. It would have been just if she died because of something Serah gave her. ...Not that she was going to say any of that out loud. Riku wouldn't want to hear it.
Riku noticed the blood on Lightning's neck, the wound still open. He lifted his hand and lightly grasped her arm, stopping her as he slowed his walk as well. He didn't say anything, knowing that Lightning probably didn't want to hear anything from him right now. So he would let his actions do the talking.

Light stopped walking when Riku forced her to. The only reason that she looked over and met his eyes after everything was because she was confused. She hoped that the confusion overshadowed all the other emotions that she was feeling. Why did he stop her? He wasn't going to insist they go back and hear Snow out, was he?
Riku lifted his hand from Lightning's arm to her neck, his fingertips resting beside the small cut. He ignored the blood that got on his fingertips as he looked Lightning in the eyes, silently calling to a Cure spell. His fingers briefly glowed green as he closed up her wound, stopping the bleeding and healing the injury.

Light lowered her gaze to Riku's hand, fighting the urge to wince at first when he touched the cut. That urge disappeared once he healed up the wound. Maybe it left a scar, maybe it didn't. But either way, she knew that she wouldn't forget what happened here today. Keeping her gaze down, she lifted one of her hands and lightly grasped Riku's wrist.
Riku pulled his hand away slightly, but only so he wasn't touching Lightning's neck anymore. He wasn't sure where the others were, but he didn't care. He was focused on the person in front of him, wondering what exactly was going through her head. Riku was sure it had something to do with Pulse and Snow, since those two were the biggest problems right now.

Light slid her hand up, gently grasping his hand instead of the wrist. She lifted it to her lips and held it against them, eyes shutting as the silence lingered. She believed that she heard others coming down the hallways now, not that she was too stunned. It wasn't like they'd stay here when there was no reason to.
Riku kept his eyes on Lightning, silently studying her. He knew that once they got back, he was going to be with her. Even if she didn't want him to be, he would. Lightning needed him, and honestly, he needed her too. This entire situation, with Valhalla and Bhunivelze, was taking its toll on him. It would be difficult to get through, but he knew he wouldn't be doing it alone.

After a moment or two, Lightning lowered Riku's hand and started walking again. Everyone was closer behind--including Snow because Hope wouldn't leave without him, and the group wouldn't leave without Hope. So they returned to their temporary living situation, where Lightning headed to the bathroom because of Riku's silent urging. He wanted her to wash the blood off her neck, obviously.
Riku stood at the door of the bathroom, leaning against the framing as he gazed at Lightning through the mirror. He had wanted to give her the best life he could, but at this rate...things just weren't going to end up that way. At least for a while. He hoped Bhunivelze wouldn't be too much trouble, but if Pulse was close to pushing them to the edge, then Bhunivelze definitely would.
