Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

"Forget it," Riku practically hissed, glancing from Lightning to Snow once last time. "The 'Hero' has made it pretty clear. You two are ditching us to go off on your own." His hands curled into fists. "How stupid are you, Snow? Serah's gone, got it?! You can't just waltz in and hope she recognizes you! That won't--" He was suddenly cut off by a push into the nearest wall, an arm across his chest to keep him in place. Riku opened his eyes, his head pounding from impact as he glared at Snow.

"Shut up!" Snow roared, his strength proving useful here. "Don't say anything to me about Serah! The two of us know her best, so if anyone's saving her, it's us." He looked Riku up and down, fury in his gaze. "You think you're so smart, don't you? Telling me who's who because of your damn Darkness. The Darkness killed her, and I'm not about to listen to the likes of you when that same Darkness is being pumped through your veins. Know your place. It's not over me!"

"Moron!" Lightning boomed at Snow. She pushed herself up, stumbling towards the two because of her state of being. She grabbed Snow's arm and tugged at it to get him to back off. He just pushed a button with Riku, and he would be lucky if Riku ever forgave him at this point. I'm sorry, Riku. It wasn't supposed to turn out like this.

"Get off me!" Snow ordered, barely glancing at Light before his gaze found Riku again. As if he would listen to some kid. He didn't know what Snow had been through, or what Serah suffered. That was why Snow wanted so badly to save his wife. He had to help her through this!

Riku ground his teeth together, wishing he had his blindfold. With it on, nobody could see him for who he truly was, or what he truly was. Right now he was infuriated, and according to Snow, a monster. The last thing he wanted was anybody witnessing the effects Snow had on him, especially when he insulted his Darkness. Riku's wasn't evil; it was good. He only used it to help his friends and the Realm of Light. "...The likes of me?" he repeated, voice low. "Does my Darkness scare you, Snow?" Riku was beyond angry now; his words were like venom, harsh and cruel to the man before him. Like he would let Snow get away with insulting him to such a degree. If anything, Riku would use that Darkness to mock Snow.

"Snow, get off of him!" Lightning barked, continuing to tug at his arm to no avail. "You've gone way too far." Nobody mocked Riku for his Darkness, ever. He went through a lot and still had some insecurities with it. Light wasn't just going to stand by and let him hurt Riku like that. Serah wouldn't have wanted this. It was such a mess...

You better listen to her, Snow... Riku glared at the man who stood taller than him, but not by too much. He wasn't intimidated by heights anymore, not since he found his strengths. Riku briefly registered rushed footsteps, figuring some of his friends were coming to see what the fuss was about. But it was too late; Riku's temper was already off the grid. The same Darkness Snow insulted began to emanate around Riku, black and purple rising off his skin. Snow seemed to register it, a grunt leaving him in surprise and fury.

"Snow...Get out of this room. Right now," Lightning ordered lowly. She lifted her other hand and lightly set it against Riku's chest, trying to calm him down. It was hard to bite back the urge to shiver because of the overflowing Darkness, and her vulnerability to the element. Snow just made a huge mistake, and she didn't want Riku making one now. He'd regret hurting Snow, someday.

Riku glared Snow right in the eye, the older man seeming to hesitate with Lightning's order. His focus rested on his Darkness. "Answer my question," he growled to Snow. Does my Darkness scare you? If Snow was so afraid of what Darkness Riku harbored, he messed with the wrong guy.

"Snow, you damned fool," Lightning snapped, tugging hard enough at his arm to actually affect him this time. "Get. Out." How many times did she have to say it? Snow was stubborn, but he had to have at least a grain of sense in that big head of his! Riku was serious, and so was Lightning. She swallowed hard, feeling dizziness along with adrenaline. This standoff had to end.

Snow got tugged to the side slightly, and his hold on Riku loosened. He glanced at Lightning in alarm before he felt another tugging at his arm over Riku's chest. He looked over to his other side and was surprised to see Noel there, his expression much like Lightning's. He needed to leave, right away. Riku's anger outmatched his own, by a long shot.

"Out," Lightning snarled. "And don't do anything else stupid or you won't live to be Serah's hero." She spat Serah's name with purpose, though her heart dropped to her stomach at the mention. Riku was infuriated, and that meant that Sora was too. Even he stood in the doorway with an angry expression. Just the fact that he showed anger instead of optimism was a sign for Snow to watch his back.

Lightning snapped. The adrenaline was enough to help her not only launch a punch, but impact Snow with enough force that she was reminded of all the other times she punched him. "You wanna talk about infections?! You're the one infected with enough arrogance for an army!" She was trembling not only from anger, but from bodily weakness as well. "If this is who you really are, then I regret giving you my blessing!" If Snow really was a hothead who insulted others like this so lightly, then she really did regret giving him permission to marry Serah.

"How in the hell am I the enemy here?" Snow snapped, tugging his arms out of both Noel and Lightning's grasps. "He's the one infected by Darkness!" The same Darkness that rested in Riku killed Serah! He couldn't be okay with that! How could Lightning love that?

Infected?! Riku thought in rage, stepping forward but being forced against the wall again by Noel. He wasn't poisonous!

Noel turned to Snow, who still stood in close proximity. "You need to go!" he ordered. This was getting out of hand. They didn't have time for people to be butting heads!

Riku watched Snow recoil at the slug, and he felt a pang of guilt underneath his anger. He closed his eyes and released a quiet breath through his teeth. He had to get out of here. Not only was everyone witnessing his Darkness come to the surface, but Snow was getting thrown out because they couldn't agree on what was best for Lightning....or Serah.

"Everyone calm down," Noel demanded, looking at the three before him. "Now." This wasn't what they were here to do. Lightning wasn't well, and clearly neither were Riku or Snow. Fighting wasn't helping anything.

Lightning turned away, trying to hide her trembling the best she could. Her hands were still in tight fists, though one was throbbing more because of the punch. She knew that they had to calm down, like Noel said. He was a good mediator, but not good enough. "If you ever insult Riku again, I'll never give that blessing back," Lightning said lowly. "So apologize, get out of the room, and stop being such an ass." She was infuriated, just like Riku was. Snow had seen her angry before, but her anger for Riku was different in magnitude.

"Lightning," Riku said softly. An insult towards him was no reason for her to take away her blessing towards Serah and Snow's marriage. Snow was being an ass alright, but that didn't mean this had to go that far. If Serah ever said that to Riku, he would never forget it. Was Riku sympathizing with Snow? Possibly, but his fury was greater. He needed to get out of the room. "I'll go."

"After Snow apologizes," Lightning said, keeping her back to the two and everyone else. Riku was allowed to leave; she realized that he needed time to cool off from his anger. But Snow was in the wrong, and he was going to apologize to Riku immediately for his remarks. If he didn't, Lightning would beat the apologies out of him. She didn't care if she was overreacting. In this very moment, she was doing what she felt was right.

Riku made eye contact with Snow just then, seeing that he wasn't willing to speak an apology. His gaze definitely didn't express it for him. Whatever. Riku pushed Noel off of him, starting out of the room. He didn't even look at Sora, not wanting to see his friend's face. It wouldn't be good.

Lightning stepped forward and leaned her forehead against the wall. So Snow wasn't willing to apologize, not even for Lightning's sake. I'll beat...it out of you... she thought, suddenly hazy. ...later... She suddenly was having a hard time even staying on her feet. She slid down to her knees, still trembling. Why did Snow have to start this mess? Why did he force her to take away her blessing?

Noel stepped forward then, placing a hand on Lightning's shoulder as he bent over near her. Riku was gone, and Snow still seethed in the middle of the room. "Snow," he said lowly. He needed to leave. Meanwhile, Lightning would have to rest. This argument between Snow and Riku didn't help her health. A few seconds after he spoke, Noel heard Snow's boots against the floor, the older man leaving the room.

Light kept her forehead against the wall, shutting her eyes as she caught her breath. Riku was already gone, and now Snow was too. "I just...want to be alone," she said quietly. She appreciated Noel stepping up during the argument, and stepping over towards her just now, but she needed some time by herself. Riku didn't need to worry this time; she wasn't going anywhere after that argument.

Noel hesitated a moment, but he nodded nonetheless. "Okay." He stepped away from Lightning, assuming she would have mentioned needing help to reach the bed if she planned on sleeping. However, he left her where she was, everyone else already out of the room and out of sight.

"Noel," Light called after him. "Thank you. And I'm sorry." She hadn't exactly been kind to him since this all began. He had been the victim of her attitude on several occasions, yet he still stepped up to help her where he could. She appreciated that about him, and hoped that in the future, she would bite back her anger and not take it out on the wrong people.

Noel stopped and turned around slightly, gazing at Lightning for a moment. "Don't sweat it," he said, to both the thanks and the apology. Lightning was suffering, and grieving. Anything said and done here he wouldn't hold against her.

Light nodded ever so slightly in response. Noel was a good person. Now if Serah fell for a guy like him... What was she thinking? Snow was an okay guy. He just had a lot of issues lately, and they were amplified in his grief. But insulting Riku like that wasn't okay in any way. She was going to punish him for that once she had a firmer grasp on consciousness.

"Get some rest," Noel called then. "We'll come check on you later." They had to cool off and sort some things out first. Noel started out again, leaving the room and walking down the corridor. He caught Riku's friends' gazes. Whatever they were feeling towards Snow, he was sure it wasn't good.
