Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas saw that his expression and cluelessness did him no good. He sighed, sagging his shoulders and lowering his head. "Namine, look..." Roxas said, starting toward her. He needed to apologize.

Kairi saw Sora backing away, and she simply looked at him. He may have told her she looked beautiful earlier, but he wasn't off the hook either.

Namine still frowned, though she did lower her gaze to the ground. Roxas shouldn't have had to have been told that he had to apologize. She at least guessed that was what Sora told him, anyway.

Sora stopped, looking up where Kairi was and seeing her expression. He sighed, lowering his head when he saw that she was still upset. Hadn't he gone through enough already? She clearly scared him earlier, and then toyed with his emotions and finally sent Aqua at him (and his wounds still hurt from that). Couldn't they just call it even...?

Roxas walked up to Namine and stopped in front of her, lifting his hands and putting his hands on her shoulders. "I'm an idiot," he confessed, referring as to why he had to be told to apologize. He then lowered his head so he could try to see her face. "And I'm sorry..."

Kairi didn't say anything, because she didn't think she had to. She was still wet, her clothes and hair damp. She guessed her appearance said enough about how she was feeling.

Namine felt Roxas's hands on her wet shoulders, her clothing still clinging to her because of how soaked she was. But she also was aware that he was bent down a little to try and look at her face. She hated to admit it, but he really was acting idiotic for Sora to have to tell him to apologize. She didn't want his hands on her shoulders because she didn't want him sweet-talking his way out of this, but she didn't want to fight him, either.

Sora looked up at Kairi once more, and he knew that he had to apologize if things were going to be at peace again. He started over towards her, sadness in his eyes. He didn't want to fight. He couldn't fight against her right now, especially when his heart was still healing from everything else that happened between them.

Roxas lifted his eyebrows, eyes soft as he tried to look at Namine's face. But she was making it difficult. His hands remained on her shoulders, trying to think of what else he needed to say. He knew a "sorry" wasn't enough.

Kairi still had her arms crossed over her chest, a little cold due to the breeze, but the sun helped. Regardless, she looked at Sora as he came over, though she wasn't sure what was going to be said between them.

Sora stopped in front of Kairi, glad that she was at least looking at him. He kept his eyes on hers, and he didn't bother hiding any emotions with her. "Sorry," he said weakly. "I didn't know you were serious about not going in the ocean..." He should have listened to her tone of voice more carefully to figure out what she was thinking and feeling, and if she was just playfully protesting or not.

Kairi rubbed her upper arms as she kept them over her chest, looking down at the ground. "I told you not to do it..." she said quietly, a negative undertone to her voice. She'd told both him and Riku not to do it.

"Namine, look at me," Roxas requested softly. He gently squeezed her shoulders, not knowing how she was going to react to any of this. She wasn't talking or looking at him, and he didn't know what to expect out of her.

"We thought you were joking..." Sora said softly. If he and Riku had known that Kairi really didn't want to go into the ocean, then they would have let it go. But they thought that she was just going along with the act of not wanting to go in.

Namine didn't feel like looking up at him, but she did anyway, though she didn't look completely. She looked at Roxas out of the corner of her eye, waiting for him to say something else.

Roxas didn't get the eye contact he wanted, but it was good enough. "I really am sorry," he said softly. "I just thought it would be fun. The last time I did that with you, you thought it was funny..." He stood up straight, taking his arms back. "But...I guess it wasn't this time," Roxas concluded, looking down at the ground.

Kairi looked away at that, not knowing what to say. She was wiggling and squirming, telling the boys it wasn't funny... How was that not getting the message across? But then again, she could see where Sora was coming from...

Namine looked down at the ground as well, not really knowing what to say. Roxas had forced her into the ocean before, but that was a little different. It had just been the two of them, and the water was really warm that day. But now she wanted to shiver at the coldness of it, since the temperature was lower today than it was the last time he forced her in.

"...Sorry," Sora said again, not knowing what else to say. He looked down at the ground, sad. He could tell Kairi was upset, and he never wanted that. Especially not when his heart was already aching and healing from their break-up. Had he messed everything up this time? Could she forgive him? If he had to live without her, then his heart would always be incomplete. He would never heal if he lost her...

"But..." Roxas looked up after a minute, stuffing his hands into his pockets as he smiled a little. "Um...if it makes you feel any better, you still look gorgeous." He was being sincere, really; Namine was still his angel even if she was soaking wet...which made him feel awful. When he put his hands on her shoulders, she was freezing.

Kairi lifted her eyes at a small silence, and she saw Sora's expression. She felt a little bad, seeing how sad he was and how awful he felt for what happened. She could feel it in her heart as well. The girl stepped forward the small space that was between them and gripped his shirt before leaning her head against his shoulder. "Keep me warm?" she requested softly. That was all she wanted right now, and she was sure that her closeness and softer tone showed that he was forgiven. Sora was always going to be forgiven; it was an innocent act after all.

Namine looked up at Roxas, and she couldn't help but smile weakly at the compliment. But she disagreed; she probably looked like a mess right now, with her hair sticking to her face and her clothes hanging and dripping with water.

Sora looked down at the girl who was gripping his shirt, and upon hearing her request, he wrapped his arms around her. "Of course," he said softly, bringing her closer to him. He had just been thinking that he would offer her his jacket, but he liked holding her closer much more, even if he was getting wet.

Roxas recognized that smile of Namine's, which made his grow a little more. But he could see in her eyes that she wasn't sure if what he said was true, and it was. He wouldn't lie about something like that.

Kairi felt herself smile a little bit, the girl leaning her forehead against Sora's neck. "Thank you," she said softly, already beginning to feel Sora's warmth against her. She needed it.

"...No, I don't," Namine disagreed softly, her weak smile fading away. She couldn't possibly look beautiful when she was like this.

Sora hummed slightly, feeling Kairi's wet and cold clothes against his and not caring. He ran his hand over her back to try and get her warmer, his eyes on what he could see of her in their embrace.

Roxas shook his head. "You don't see what I see," he told Namine gently. Even if she was dripping wet, she looked beautiful. She always did, but right now, it was nearly captivating how great she looked. Of course, she would always be great to Roxas; he loved her.

Kairi closed her eyes, letting Sora's warmth envelope her form. She silently let him hold her and rub her back, loving that they were together again. She missed this far too much.

Namine shook her head softly, looking down at the ground once again. She didn't see what Roxas saw, and she was a bit glad for that. She probably looked like a mess...No, there was no probably about it. She had to have looked like a mess.
Roxas couldn't help but smile weakly at the girl he loved, and he stepped forward, closing the very small gap between them even more. He lifted her chin with his fingers gently, and just looked at her. When she shook her head, he took that as his confirmation; Namine really didn't see what he did, which was hard to believe.

Namine felt Roxas lift her chin gently, and if she really wanted to, she could have fought against it. She didn't, instead letting her eyes go up and find his. She saw that weak smile, but she wasn't ready to return it yet because she didn't believe she looked beautiful right now.
Roxas held Namine's chin, looking from one of Namine's eyes to the other as he held her gaze. "Tell me..." he said softly. "What do you think I see when I look at you, right now?" He had to know, since she couldn't tell how beautiful she really was.

Namine looked down towards the ground, seeing Roxas looking into her eyes. "...A wet mess," she answered softly. That was what she really was right now, with her hair and clothes clinging to her.
Roxas shook his head, his fingertips still lightly underneath Namine's chin. "Wrong," he said quietly. That wasn't what he saw at all.

Namine kept her gaze down, hearing Roxas's response. He wasn't seeing her correctly, then, because she really did have to look bad because of how wet she was.
Roxas moved his hand from underneath Namine's chin, instead pushing some of her wet hairstrands away from her face. "You may be soaking wet," he said, but then he stopped, feeling her face. He chuckled lowly in amusement. "And freezing," he added with a small smile. "But you're still my Namine. And my Namine never looks like a mess. She's beautiful, all day every day." Roxas's thumb gently rubbed against Namine's cheek before he slowly took his hand back, looking down at her with big blue eyes.

Namine felt herself blush at Roxas's compliments, though she couldn't believe that she was beautiful all the time. But at least Roxas saw her that way, and she guessed that was what really mattered. She really didn't know what to say to Roxas, so she didn't bother formulating a response as she kept her gaze on the ground.
Roxas saw that she still wouldn't look at him, and he put his hands on her shoulders, feeling her wet clothing. "Namine," he said softly. "After saying all of that, can I at least see those pretty eyes of yours?" Was she just shy? Was that why she wouldn't look at him?
