Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku swung at Caius just as he vanished, his Keyblade going through air. He looked around, but that was when he grunted, lifting a hand to his head. The amount of Darkness he suddenly sensed caused a headache, and he squeezed his eyes shut. He stumbled back a step before opening his eyes a little. He looked up, seeing Chaos swirl in the sky. What is that...?

Light laughed without humor. So, he was resorting to this. Chaos Bahamut. She had hoped she saw the last of this beast, but he was enraged enough to become a beast to avenge Yeul. Odin appeared by her side, as faithful a companion as she could want. She didn't even have to look at him or cue him to start running; they both just did. They launched themselves at the swirling chaos and the man within, hoping to kill him before he fully gained the power of the beast.

Snow saw what was happening, and he grunted upon witnessing Lightning jump into the Chaos. "Light, no!" he cried in fury. Could she be any more reckless?! He watched as the Chaos continued to swirl, but a second later a large beast was in front of them.

Riku took a step back. Not this thing again... Chaos Bahamut. He battled it with Serah in the past. He lost too easily to this thing, and Lightning went right for it!

Lightning landed on the beast's back when he was formed, frowning at how she and Odin completely failed to halt his transformation. But nevertheless..."Say 'hi' to Yeul for me," she mocked lowly in Caius's ear. She pulled back her sword and plunged it into the back of his neck with all her might, savagely pressing and moving it to inflict more pain.

Hope heard Chaos Bahamut roar in fury, and he cringed at the sound. That was when it lifted one of its hands and reached behind its neck, grabbing... "Light!" he called in fear, having only the option to watch as it threw her off its back.

Lightning grunted at the throw, obviously being sent flying by the beast and his powerful arm. She landed on a building a ways away, but she skid on the rooftop and fell off the edge. That actually happened several times before she came to a stop on a building several stories lower than the first one that she crashed onto, her body aching terribly from the falls.

Riku realized that things were chaotic. Monsters were everywhere on the ground, and he knew his friends were too busy to help. That left him, Aqua, Snow, Hope, and Lightning...who he couldn't see anymore. "Let's go!" he called to them, running and jumping off the building as he summoned his glider. Aqua did the same, as Snow and Hope called to their Eidolons. It was time for some teamwork.

After what felt like a few moments, Lightning stumbled to her feet. Odin stood at the edge of the building as her guard. Was it actually a few moments that she was lying there, or was it more? Looking up at the sky, she noticed the chaotic situation around the beast of chaos. On the ground, others were still fighting monsters. This needs to end...Now. She walked over to her eidolon and was tossed up to the next tallest building, the young woman finally making her way back to the battle.

Riku gripped his side, breathing heavily as he glared up at Chaos Bahamut. He hadn't seen Lightning in at least thirty minutes, and the rest of them were exhausted. The monsters were still spawning down below, so the rest of Riku's friends were held up. Riku watched as Snow was forced back, sliding along the concrete past him. Aqua was knocked out cold, and Hope was holding back groans of pain. Riku lowered his gaze, taking his hand away from his side to see it covered in blood. He tisked in disgust, holding the wound once more. His body screamed in protest to any movement; even holding himself up was painful. Caius was hovering just in front of them all, staring down at them with triumph in his beast form. This couldn't be the end... They fought too hard for this.

Lightning stood atop a rooftop, having a clear view of the world. Her heart broke at the sights she saw. Monsters still swarmed the streets, buildings were destroyed and her friends were almost defeated. It's my fault. I know it is. I did this. She ran into battle when she and her friends weren't really ready to fight. She was angry at herself, but even more than that, she was still infuriated with Caius. He wasn't going to take away any more family than she had. For the first time in over thirty minutes, the sky flashed with enough lightning to blind a person who was looking in that direction. She was back with a vengeance.

Snow grunted at the bright light, on his side as he tried to rise to his feet. But it was just no use; he was too weak. He looked to Chaos Bahamut with fury, silently cursing Caius to hell. This couldn't all be for nothing. They had to come out on top... They just had to.

Lightning took a few steps back, getting a running start so she could jump off the building. Odin added to her momentum by grabbing a hold of her arm and swinging her around before launching her at the beast. With a loud battle cry, Lightning swung her gunblade at Bahamut with enough force to cut through the tough scales of the dragon and sever one of his hands.

Hope covered his ears at a particularly loud roar, one he recognized as pain. He looked up, seeing one of Chaos Bahamut's hands fall toward the ground. Blood seeped from the new wound, but Hope's main focus was on who dealt the blow. "Lightning," he breathed. She was okay!

Odin, get them away from here, Light requested of her eidolon. She landed on a nearby building and launched herself at Caius's other claw to do the same move while Odin went to retrieve Hope. Caius could heal himself, but she highly doubted that he could regain limbs once they were lost. This was why she needed to be part of the battle; she knew Caius better than anyone else. She knew how to defeat him and had the power to do it in her rage.

Riku saw Odin coming over, and he was confused. Why was he coming this way? What about Lightning? Riku's eyes locked onto her as she went after Caius again, hearing him cry out in pain from another limb being removed. While Riku and his friends wore Caius down, Lightning was getting the privilege to deal the final blow. She deserved to, with all the suffering Caius caused her.

Lightning landed on another rooftop, glaring at Caius as the sky flashed behind her. Not so smug now, are you?! she mentally challenged. Not only was Lumina dead, but Caius was going to be with her soon, and he wasn't going to get revenge before he died. She glared at him triumphantly, just looking at him for a moment. His fate was sealed.

"No!" Caius roared in his beast form, the cry deafening around Radiant Garden's Valhalla. If he was going to die, he was going to fight to the death. He released a beam toward Lightning as he fought back with what he could, both limbs gone now. He could only do so much, but he wouldn't give up!

Lightning dodged to another rooftop, away from the rest of her friends. Odin had already escorted Hope, Snow, and Aqua away, and he was about ready to help Riku move. Obviously Light didn't have the time to pay attention to that. She called down her most powerful elemental magic--the one she named herself after. The lightning in the sky became her weapon as the sprayed down and attacked Caius .

Riku looked up at Odin, grunting as he forced himself to his feet. He heard Caius's powerful roar, which shook the ground beneath him. He got onto Odin's back and the Eidolon rose to all fours, having knelt down so Riku could easily climb on. The young man looked to Lightning, knowing that this fight was over. She would be alright. Accepting that, he let Odin run off, taking him away from the scene.

"It's over!" Lightning cried, launching herself at Caius one last time. She shoved her sword through his layers of defensive skin and plunged it into the heart of Bhunivelze, the final god that she and her friends had to defeat for their worlds. She pressed the sword in as much as she could, only the hilt out in the open.

Kairi swung at another beast, dirt and sweat covering her skin, as well as blood from any injuries she received. At the monstrous roar that came from above, she sensed the Darkness disappearing. The beasts that surrounded her and her friends fell over, and she looked up to see Chaos Bahamut start to fall. "Sora..." she said in warning. Caius was falling right for them. The beast already hit buildings, starting to knock them over. They were going to be crushed!

Lightning's eyes widened when she saw which direction Caius was falling. Though Sora quickly summoned his glider, threw Kairi on and whisked his wife away, Noel was still down there, unable to run in time. She jumped off Caius's falling body and landed on the ground where he was going to fall, summoning Odin to her side. They focused their strength and cast a shield around themselves and Noel, straining under the pressure of the beast. This isn't good. We can't hold him up much longer.

Noel looked up as Caius's beast form weighed down on the shield, as well as buildings. He was glad Sora and Kairi got to safety, but as for him and Lightning, he wasn't so sure. Caius was dead, and as the Bahamut's body began to fade, a bright light slowly started to engulf the area. He grunted in question, not sure what to think. What was going on?

Lightning noticed the brightness of the area, but her immediate concern was that the weight on the shield wasn't lifting. The knight Odin sank down to his knees under the pressure, and Lightning was having a hard time staying on her feet. Noel...I have to at least save Noel. She grunted and summoned a dark portal nearby, sinking down to one knee afterward. "Get out of here!" she hollered to the teen. He had to get out from under the weight of Caius's fading body or be crushed.

"No way!" Noel replied. "I'm not leaving you!" He couldn't do that to Serah's sister. He had to help her, somehow. He saw the Dark Portal and considered grabbing Lightning and running for it, but the light got stronger, brighter. He grunted at the brightness, lifting a hand to shield his eyes. He didn't even have time to question it, the bright light covering the entire world.
