A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Light looked over at Riku after the kiss, her smirk faintly returning. "Got the monkeys off your back, I see," she teased. Sora was in the water next to Kairi and keeping her occupied, and Namine was trying to coax Roxas in as he stood by the shore. It would have been a good opportunity to pay the three back for their ambushes, but she didn't want to leave Riku's embrace.

Riku smirked as well, nodding. "They can't be too clingy in water," he said softly, but then he tightened his hold on his beloved. "But I can." He could've lost her at any time back in Valhalla, and in a way, he did; she shut herself out from the world and grieved over Serah's death in silence, until Riku finally got her to open up. But still...it wasn't a time Riku liked to think about.

"You're one monkey I don't want off my back," Light grinned, setting a hand on Riku's arms. He could be as clingy as he wanted today. Some days she was annoyed when smothered, but today she was happy to be in Riku's embrace again. There was no place else she wanted to be.

Kairi playfully splashed Sora, but then she managed to catch a smile on Riku's face when she glanced over. Whatever he and Lightning were talking about, he was enjoying it. Good thing too, since he was so angry back in Valhalla. She never wanted to experience anything like that again, especially with her husband. She looked over at him, her smile still present. Sora and Kairi were meant to be together through everything, but Valhalla was one place they didn't belong.

Sora wiped his wet hair away from his eyes, grinning playfully at his wife. "I'm calling it," he declared. "Best honeymoon ever." They were only a day into it, and they were spending it with their friends, but it was still great. He and Kairi would eventually go off to be alone again, but for now, he was thrilled that they were spending their day like this.

Kairi's smile grew instantly, and she made her way towards her husband and wrapped her arms around his neck, closing her eyes at the warmth his body gave her. She liked hearing that. Honeymoons were meant to be spent alone, but after the recent hell they lived through, she agreed with him. Spending the day with her friends and family was a great start to this second honeymoon in her eyes.

Sora laughed gently, wrapping his arms around his wife. "Kai, you can't seriously be cold, can you?" She had goosebumps! The water was a comfortable temperature for him, and the sunshine had his skin out of the water feeling warm. Of course he shouldn't have been surprised; Kairi always was colder than he was.

Kairi's smile turned sheepish. "...Maybe a little," she said softly, keeping her arms around her husband. There was a faint breeze, and with the lack of heat on her skin from being in the water, it kind of made sense that she was a bit chilly. But Sora was helping significantly with that problem.

"I bet Riku would give you a hug if you asked," Sora said softly in Kairi's ear, giving her a squeeze. Riku wasn't normally a sap with Kairi or Namine like that; it took specific situations to bring about hugs from him. But yesterday in this timeline was their wedding, so surely Riku still wanted to fulfill every desire of Kairi's.

Kairi chuckled softly before gently pulling back, her arms remaining around Sora as she looked at him. But then she looked over at Riku, seeing that he was still holding Lightning. "...I won't ruin his moment," she said softly. As much as she loved hugs from her big brother, she was sure Lightning loved them more.

Sora sighed, setting his hands on Kairi's shoulders as he followed her gaze to Riku. "Guess I'll have to do it." He was still getting Riku back for all the teasing he did when they were teenagers, after all. "Hey, lovebird!" he called to his older best friend to snap him out of his sappy behavior. 

Kairi's eyes widened, and she instinctively backhanded Sora lightly on the chest. "Sora!" she said in disapproval. There was no reason to ruin Riku's moment!

 

Riku had his arms on Lightning's waist now, since she was facing him in the water, but at the holler, he turned his head. Somehow, he knew the nickname was towards him. He smirked when Kairi clearly disapproved, but he paid attention all the same. What'd Sora want now?

Sora lifted a hand and pointed a finger down at his wife. "Kairi wants a hug," he said sheepishly. Now that Riku's focus was actually on him, he didn't want it. And what he said was true anyway; Kairi did want a hug, she was just too polite to ask for it.

Riku looked to Kairi, only to see her blush. He rolled his eyes in good nature, squeezing Lightning's waist briefly before letting go. He waded toward his friends in the water, motioning for Kairi to meet him halfway. She did, and he didn't hesitate wrapping his arms around her. "You're such a little kid, you know that?" he said softly. She only laughed, but that was okay. Riku knew Kairi appreciated the little things, like a hug from her big brother.

Sora wiped at his forehead, relieved. Riku was actually distracted enough with Kairi that he wasn't going to punish Sora for teasing him! He sighed happily, laying down on his back in the water as he relaxed. That was a close call.

"Serah, c'mon!" Hope cried, running up to her and grabbing her hand. Snow was talking to one of his NORA friends, and she seemed like she wanted to have some fun, so here he was. He pulled her towards the water with him. It was hot, so why not cool off? Besides, all of their friends were in the water too.

Serah laughed as Hope tugged her along, the young woman not fighting it for even a moment. "I'm coming, I'm coming," she laughed. It was really hot out in the sun, so she was excited to cool off in the ocean. That was what almost everyone else was doing, except for her sister, who got out of the water to lay in the sun for a little while.

Snow looked over at his wife to see her run off, and now that his conversation with Yuj was over, he looked around. Everyone was partying and having fun, and while he was as well, something was still nagging him. Snow's eyes landed on his sister-in-law instantly at the thought, and he started over toward her in silence. He wore sneakers with his swim trunks and t-shirt, so he wasn't hurting himself when he walked along the hot sand. He stopped next to Lightning, blocking the sun with his tall stature. "Hey, Light? Can we talk for a sec?" he asked. He needed to clear things up.

Lightning sat up on her towel, looking up and seeing who spoke to her. Of course, that was obvious before her eyes even landed on him. His voice and shadow were enough to tell her that it was Snow. "Yeah, sure," she complied, standing and automatically brushing some sand off her body. She had a feeling she knew what Snow wanted to talk about, so they could at least walk away from the main party for a bit to have privacy.

Snow smiled weakly in thanks before he led the way. Bodhum was lined with shops and restaurants, but he chose a secluded place by the beach that they could use for some privacy. This wouldn't take long, he hoped.

Lightning followed Snow to the spot on the beach, barely able to hear the laughter of her friends in the water from where they were. This would do nicely for their conversation. She waited for Snow to speak up, the girl wanting to get this conversation over with before it even started. It wasn't going to go well.

Snow stuck a hand in his pocket and leaned against the wall, looking down at the ground for a moment as he gathered his thoughts. The fact that Lightning took away her blessing...as Serah's only blood relative... It hurt, a lot. "...About what happened in Valhalla," he started lowly, still gazing at the ground. "I think things got a little out of hand. Some things were said..." Snow finally looked up at his sister-in-law. "I just wanted to know if your decision was still set, or if it was something said out of anger." Taking back her blessing... He hoped it was the latter.

Lightning glanced over at the ocean, deciding that she didn't want to see the look in Snow's eyes when she responded. "I said it in anger, but I meant it," she said quietly. Snow showed a very dark side of himself when he insulted Riku so harshly. He didn't even apologize for it. Light knew that people showed who they really were in the hard situations, and Snow portrayed himself as a stupid muscle-head who couldn't even apologize for his obviously outrageous actions. If he was that kind of man, he didn't have her blessing.

Snow blinked at the confession, but then his eyes narrowed. "You meant it," he repeated lowly in disbelief. "Because I insulted your boyfriend? What does that have to do with Serah?" It didn't make any sense! It wasn't like he insulted his wife!

Lightning looked at Snow, furrowing her eyebrows defensively. "You showed your true character that night. You've got issues with anger and how you take it out on people. You may treat Serah like she's the best person in the whole universe, but if that's how you treat others and you think it's okay, then you're not the man for her." Serah cared deeply about others. She wouldn't be alright with Snow treating people like he treated Riku that night.
