Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

"The Darkness killed her, Lightning," Snow said stiffly, standing upright. "Riku had it pumping through his veins. Of course I got angry! If you weren't so attached to him, wouldn't you have done the same?" Wouldn't she have gotten defensive for Serah's sake?

  • Author

"No, I wouldn't have," Lightning said evenly. "Because if you paid attention to my life at all, you'd know more about Riku and his Darkness. The Darkness that he has isn't the same Darkness that killed Serah. And blaming him for having Darkness is hypocritical. You obviously have your own Darkness too." Everyone did, except for the very few who had pure hearts.

"Maybe I do, but I didn't use mine to threaten him, now did I?" Snow snapped, gritting his teeth. He couldn't believe this! Riku was the one who threatened Snow with his Darkness. How was Snow supposed to react?

  • Author

"All he did was threaten while you attacked him," Lightning snapped, unaware that the conversation now had a listener out of sight. "Your words were stabs to the heart, and if you weren't so boneheaded you'd see why everyone shunned you." Snow still didn't see himself as guilty. It was unbelievable how arrogant he was!

"But to take back your blessing?" Snow said, stepping toward Lightning as he inwardly fumed. "That's an insult to your sister, and to me. How could you do that to us?" Serah would be heartbroken if she found out about this.

  • Author

"I did it because it's what I had to do. I would never give my blessing to the man you were that night, so I took it," Lightning said, keeping her  stance even if Snow stepped closer to her. He wasn't helping himself out here; if he snapped, he would just be proving her right.

Snow shook his head, then lifting a hand and jabbing it in Lightning's direction. "The man I was that night is not that man I am today," he told her lowly. "I will never be that way toward your sister, ever. You know that." So why take away the blessing? It still didn't make any sense.

  • Author

"I thought I knew a lot of things," Light said, eyes narrowing at the finger jab. "But you managed to prove me wrong. You're not the man I thought you were." Snow's anger issues were seen before, but now it seemed like it was spiraling out of control. He wasn't just angry that night; he was angry now and would be again in the future.

Snow lowered his hand down to his side, curling it into a fist. "Is that so? Then who am I, Lightning?" he asked lowly, daring her to tell him who exactly he was. He wasn't angry all the time; just when it came to Serah's safety, or in this case, the safety of her heart now that Lightning was taking away her blessing. Serah would be crushed, and Snow was beyond angry.

"You want me to tell you?" Lightning asked, growing more frustrated and irritated with every word Snow spoke. "Fine. You're an arrogant, spineless, stupid man who thinks that all that matters in the world is treating Serah right. Newsflash Snow: Serah cares about other people and treating them right. If you can't grasp that, then you're obviously not the right man for her."

"I grasp that plenty," Snow practically growled. "And to say I'm spineless... You've got a lot of nerve." He was far from spineless; he was Serah's hero. He saved her. The fact that Lightning claimed he was spineless infuriated Snow. "And I know that Serah cares for others. I do too, but not when they pose a threat to my family. You're boyfriend proved himself to be one, so if anyone needs a newsflash, it's you. Get a grip, Lightning."

  • Author

"You're calling Riku a threat to your precious family?" Lightning laughed bitterly. "As if. Do you know how many times he saved me. How many times he saved Serah? He's more of her hero than you'll ever be. What have you actually done other than run around and scream her name?" Snow thought he was a hero, but he wasn't. He was just an idiot.

"Lightning, watch it," Snow hissed, taking another step closer to the woman. She was walking on some mighty thin ice here. He saved Serah, alongside Lightning. During their journey, she was the one plotting revenge. He was the one yearning to save his fiancé at the time. He wasn't going to take her blows. She knew better than to insult him regarding Serah. Serah was his life.

"Or what?" Lightning challenged, glaring up at Snow. Anybody else would have been intimidated by him right now, and rightfully so, but not her. Because of her relation to Serah, she believed that she was invincible to Snow's overwhelming rage. Even now, he wasn't attacking her the same way that he attacked Riku.

Snow glared at Lightning, not knowing what to say. His hands clenched into fists as he fought his emotions, closing his eyes tightly after a moment. He couldn't believe she was stooping so low. Why would she do this? Because of one mistake? Didn't she believe in second chances?

  • Author

"That's what I thought," Lightning said through her teeth. "Turns out my first impression of you was right after all. You're all talk." If he was going to threaten her, then he needed to have the power to follow through, not just try to intimidate her with words. He was a fool for thinking she couldn't see him for what he really was. "All your promises to Serah are just words, aren't they? You won't ever take care of her like you said you will."

Snow's fists clenched tightly, his teeth grinding together as he fought his rage. But saying that he couldn't take care of Serah, ever, was the final straw. He brought back his hand. "Shut up!" he snapped, backhanding his sister-in-law across the face. How dare she say something like that to him? Snow was Serah's hero!

  • Author

Lightning grunted, head turning sharply at the impact of Snow's large hand. She was surprised more than anything else. Snow was even worse than she thought if he could somehow justify slapping her, Serah's sister. She looked back up at him and glared at him menacingly, her hands curling into fists. Did Snow want her to say anything else, or did he get the message? You just proved what kind of a man you can be when you're angry. If you're willing to backhand me, your family, then you have the possibility to do the same with Serah. He would never have her blessing again.

Sora's jaw dropped when he saw what happened to Lightning. He hadn't been spying originally; he came out of the water to grab his towel and dry off for a while. But when the towel blew in the breeze and landed over here, he caught part of the conversation. Somehow he stuck around to this moment here, when Snow just hit Lightning. I can't believe it...

The back of Snow's hand stung from the slap, and he silently seethed, but only for a second. The moment he saw the look on Lightning's face, and realized what he did, he blinked. "Oh no..." he said, taking a step back. "Lightning... Lightning, I'm sorry. I..." He didn't mean to. He just...got so angry. It was a mistake!

"Hook, line, and sinker," Lightning said under her breath. She baited him to get him angry to see what he would do, and he did the worst thing that he could have done. He proved to her that his anger problem was even more serious than she originally thought. As her cheek throbbed and her head pounded, she glared at him. But then she turned and started away.

"N-no, Lightning, wait!" Snow begged, grabbing her wrist before she could get too far. He didn't mean to! She had to have realized that... He was sorry. Why would he hit her like that on purpose? He wouldn't! He was just so angry...

Sora nearly stepped out of his hiding place to defend Lightning, but then he saw that he didn't need to. She yanked her wrist out of Snow's grasp before he could firmly grasp her and continued walking in the opposite direction of him. Oh man. When Riku hears about this... He wasn't going to be happy at all.

Snow watched Lightning go with wide eyes, sorrow in their depths, as well as fear. Lightning was hard to predict anymore, so would she tell anyone? Or would anyone notice the red mark on her cheek? Snow lowered his gaze to the ground, cursing himself and his rash actions. He was doomed.

Sora wisely walked away from the scene of the crime and returned to where his towel had been before it blew away. He laid it down and then placed himself on it, staring up at the sky as he tried to sort this out. Snow hit Lightning. Riku wasn't there to see it. Now Lightning was walking away and he didn't know when she'd be back, or if she'd tell Riku what happened. But Riku had to know, and Sora would probably have to tell him. If that happened to Kairi, he would want to know too.

"Oh, c'mon, Serah! That was a cheap shot!" Riku taunted, sending some water her way after she playfully splashed him. Kairi was away getting some refreshments, and Roxas and Naminé were playing in on their little game of splashing, Hope and Noel as well. He didn't know where Lightning went, but he imagined she was okay. He would have known otherwise.
