Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku turned his head and kissed Light's hair, holding the position before resting his chin atop her head. He still needed to get his stuff from the beach, and say bye to his friends. Sora and Kairi were leaving for their (second) honeymoon tonight, while everyone else was going home. As for him, he wasn't entirely sure where he would be tonight.

Lightning allowed her eyes to flicker shut, and it was then she realized how tired she actually was. A year took its toll on her. "You should go say goodbye," she said quietly to Riku, recalling her thoughts from a minute or two ago. His friends were all still at the beach and probably waiting for him to come and say bye to them. They probably didn't expect Lightning to come back after everything.

"Not goodbye," Riku corrected lowly, looking down at the woman he loved. "More like see you later." He would make sure it wasn't goodbye, not after everything they went through to survive. He squeezed Light's hand one more time before moving from the couch. When he stood, still clad in only his shoes and swim trunks, he looked to the woman he loved. "I'll stay with you tonight, if that's alright." Riku's smirk should have expressed he was staying anyway, regardless of approval.

"I obviously don't have a choice in the matter," Light grinned. "You have a universal key, after all." Even if she did lock him out, he'd let himself right back in. Besides that point, she would be glad to have him with her for the night--no, that was too shortsighted. She would be glad to have him with her for forever. That was more accurately what she felt.

"Hmph," Riku hummed with a jerk of his chin, proud of Lightning's observation. "You're right." He gazed at her a moment longer before giving a mock salute and leaving the room, then the house. He had to wish his friends good luck on this second honeymoon. Hopefully it was just as good as the first.

Lightning waited until Riku left before she rose and headed to the shower. She was a bit confused--This was still her house in this timeline. In the one that she actually lived through, she sold this house because she was so resolved to live only in Destiny Islands. What other differences were there in the worlds, and were they drastically different?

Kairi and Sora were just saying goodbye to their friends when the redhead spotted her big brother. He waved upon seeing her, and she could tell he was in a better mood. Whatever happened at the house, it must have been comforting. "Here to see us off, you big lug?" she asked, earning a crooked smile from Riku. She smiled instantly and gave him a big hug, glad he came to say bye. She would see him in a week.

"'Bout time," Sora agreed with his cheesy grin. "I was afraid we'd have to hunt you down." They were only saying goodbye for a week this time though, so at least they had that going for them. This wasn't going to be another Valhalla incident. This time, everything was going to be happy and peaceful and joyful.

"You've never really had to hunt me down. It's always been the other way around," Riku said, then planting a kiss in Kairi's red hair before releasing her. She scolded him quietly for the jab, but he only smirked. Taunting Sora would never get old.

"The only reason I'm gonna let that go is because of the wife," Sora grinned. Kairi knew that the teasing got out of hand some days, enough so that he and Riku actually ended up fighting. He wasn't even going to risk another fight on a day like this when some people were more temperamental than usual.

Riku glanced over at Kairi to see her smirk and nod of agreement. "Sucking up already, and it's technically only been day one," he said with a shake of his head. He clasped Sora's hand and pulled him in for a one-armed hug. "Good luck, bro." He would need it.

Sora smirked and embraced Riku back in their "manly hug". "Thanks, not that I'll need it. After all, I'm married to the most beautiful, perfect, wonderful..." He trailed off with the compliments, looking past Riku to Kairi with his typical smile in place. It was time that their future really got started and stayed on the right path this time.

Kairi stepped forward and placed a kiss on Sora's lips. "Let's save that talk for the honeymoon, okay?" she said softly, brushing a few of Sora's spikes back before glancing at Riku. He probably thought the same of Lightning, but to each his own, she guessed.

"I still have plenty left for the honeymoon, don't you worry," Sora said, wrapping an arm around Kairi's shoulders before returning his gaze to Riku. "We'll see you in about a week, okay?" He and Kairi could spend more time away, but they loved all their friends, so they'd probably be back on time instead of staying an extra day or week or month.

Riku lifted an eyebrow at the first few words, seeing Kairi blush. Well alright then. "You bet," he said with a nod. "This time, I promise to keep things how you left them." Unlike last time. He failed to keep their home safe while they were gone.

"We'll hold you to it," Sora said lightheartedly. In all seriousness, Valhalla wasn't Riku's fault. But thankfully that wasn't going to happen again, ever. It was going to be a time of peace and happiness for all of them, including Riku's true love. "Tell Light bye from us." They'd see her in a week again too.

Riku nodded again. "Will do," he said with a faint smirk. She'd, hopefully, be with Riku when their two friends came back. He never did find out where the two newlyweds were going the first time, and clearly they were going back this time. Whatever they were doing, he was sure they would enjoy themselves.

"Well then..." Sora grinned, stepping over and sweeping Kairi off her feet. "Guess we'll be off." He summoned his glider and stepped onto it instead of doing a flip like he usually did, being considerate of the girl in his arms. As much as Kairi loved him, she wouldn't love being flipped with him.

Kairi gasped in shock at the sudden movement, but once she realized how safe she was in Sora's arms, she wrapped one of her own around his shoulders before lifting the other to wave to their best friend. "Bye, Riku!" she called with a smile. She was off for another fantastic week away with her husband.

Sora nodded his goodbye to Riku before looking to the rest of his friends. "Behave while we're gone," he joked. As if that would be a problem; he was the one who was the most irresponsible, after all. At least he was wise enough to keep his grip on Kairi instead of wave as they rose into the sky and disappeared through the portal for the second honeymoon.

Riku simply rolled his eyes at the words of advice, knowing already that Sora would follow it himself. Kairi would keep him in line if he didn't behave, anyway. Before heading back to the house, Riku made sure to say his goodbyes to the rest of the group, informing them that he would be back home the next morning. Right now, he wanted and needed to be with Lightning.

While everyone said their goodbyes on the beach, Lightning wasn't relaxing. If she did just lie down, she was sure that she would fall asleep before Riku came back. So she took her shower, slipped into comfortable clothes, and went to the kitchen to prepare a midnight snack for Riku, since he was always hungry and this was one of his favorites. She may not have been an expert in the kitchen, but she could scrape by just fine.

Riku managed to actually grab his stuff before leaving this beach this time, reaching Lightning's place pretty quickly since he could use his glider at night. When he got back, he noticed a few lights were on, but there was a faint noise coming from the kitchen. Riku set his stuff down before finding Lightning there, and he smiled when he recognized what she was making. She's too good to me sometimes.

Though Riku was naturally quiet, Lightning was listening for him to arrive back at her house, so she didn't even need to turn around to see him there. "Just in time," she piped, slicing the last piece of banana and pouring the slivers into one bowl. She set out a lot of toppings for ice cream sundaes, including bananas, caramel, chocolate chips, hot fudge, sprinkles, and other assortments that could be put on the ice cream.

"Clearly," Riku said, starting over towards the woman he loved. He stood behind her and wrapped his arms around her stomach, placing a kiss to her cheek before resting the side of his head against hers. He was surprised she wasn't asleep, but this was an even better surprise. A sundae, and it looked amazing.
