Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine bit down on her lip, glancing back to the hallway briefly. "Can you wait a little while? They still need a few more hours of being in the dark." Some pictures were done, but she didn't want to compromise the environment. As much as she loved Roxas, she didn't want to risk getting him close to the pictures in case anything happened.

"Sure," Roxas said with a shrug, but then he smirked. "Does that mean you get a little free time?" To spend with me? They saw each other yesterday, of course, since they were with their friends in Bodhum. But today was their first real day back to reality after what happened in Valhalla. Roxas didn't want to spend it with anyone but the girl he loved.

"If you don't mind me going back and wrapping some stuff up," Namine said with a small smile. "You can treat yourself to the fridge while I do..." Roxas was always hungry, so she as sure he wouldn't turn down her offer to pig out on whatever he wanted. It was hard to remember what exactly she had in the fridge. The past few weeks had been crazy.

Roxas's eyes lit up instantly. "Gladly," he said in agreement, then turning and heading for the kitchen. He was starving, since he didn't have much of a big breakfast today. A small snack would tide him over until lunch. He was sure Naminé would make something delicious; she usually did.

Namine couldn't help but laugh at Roxas's enthusiastic response. "Why do you seem more excited about the food than spending time with me?" she teased. Roxas always got so excited about her fridge that sometimes, she wondered if he came over to her apartment just for that. Of course that wasn't true though; she could never forget the real reason he came.

"I'm not, promise!" Roxas called over his shoulder, already in the kitchen. He opened the fridge and started digging, smiling to himself. He loved food, but Naminé had his heart. Nothing and nobody could compete with that.

Namine wrapped up what she could, though she sort of wished she didn't have to spend time with Roxas. It wasn't anything against him; she was just so excited about her project that she wanted to devote absolutely all of her time to it, especially since there was a time limit that she put on herself. But once she returned to the living room and sat down next to Roxas, she realized just how badly she needed a break. She was exhausted.

Roxas finished eating his peanut butter and jelly sandwich, looking over at the girl he loved. She seemed tired, and a little stressed. "...You should relax," he told her gently. She had obviously been working hard, but Sora and Kairi were going to be gone for a few more days. She didn't have to rush on the pictures.

Namine smiled apologetically. "I'm so excited though," she said, eyes shining in a way that only art and passion could cause. "Once I develop the photos, I can make a scrapbook. And when I'm not working on the scrapbook, I can work on editing the digital  pictures I have for other purposes..." She didn't know what purposes those were yet--the possibilities were endless.

Roxas chuckled softly, shaking his head. "You and your art," he said, though he was only teasing. He was the same way with his music sometimes, but he didn't have any use for it like Naminé did. That was how their art was different.

Namine smiled guiltily, a sheepish expression appearing in her eyes. "I hardly slept last night. I was so excited to work on it that I got started before sunrise." If she had to remember the time...It was probably around three or four o'clock. And it was now closer to ten o'clock. She knew that she needed more sleep after everything that happened, but she was too excited to sleep.

Roxas's smile only remained as he leaned back in the couch, letting his head rest against the back cushion. He closed his eyes and took in a breath, just relaxing. While Naminé was working on her art, Roxas was worrying about the meadow. He forgot about it during Valhalla, but now it was one of his top priorities.

"Nothin', huh?" Namine asked with a slight chuckle. It was like Roxas wasn't even surprised that she was working on the photos during the night. What, did he notice that it was darker underneath her eyes than usual? It probably wasn't even that. Roxas knew her so well that he had other ways of telling.

"I just know that when you have a goal in mind, you don't stop until you reach it," Roxas said, turning his head against the couch to look at the girl he loved. He was the same in that way, but his was more focused on their future together. A proposal...a wedding... He wanted it all, with Naminé.

Namine smiled crookedly. Roxas hit the nail on the head with that one. Once she had a project, she didn't stop until it was complete. She hated having works in progress hanging over her head. And she didn't turn back from a goal once she was sure it was worth completing. "It'll probably keep me busy during the next week," she warned him.

"What?" Roxas whined, eyes softening in sadness. "Then what am I supposed to do? Sora's gone the rest of the week!" And he didn't work that much this week, since he was only part-time. There was the meadow, sure...but what about when it rained or it got dark? What was he supposed to do then?

  • Author

"Well..." Namine thought about it, gazing up at the ceiling in thought. "If I keep my fridge fully stocked, would that make you happy?" He could court the refrigerator for a week while she was busy. In her down time, maybe she could bake cookies or something to make up for her dedication to her art.

"What would make me happy," Roxas said, reaching over and lightly poking Naminé in the side, "is being with you...after everything." After too many near-death experiences, after the riots here in Destiny Islands that only they seemed to remember, and all of the hardship in Valhalla. All he wanted was Naminé.

Namine smiled sadly at the comment. Of course that was going to trigger unpleasant memories. All that happened with the Valhallan worlds wasn't gone from her mind. She just was glad to have an art project that she could be swept up in and distracted by. But she wasn't going to forsake Roxas for the solace of her art. "You have me, then," she said softly, wrapping an arm over his stomach as she cuddled up to his side.

That's all I want, Roxas thought, his arm wrapping around Naminé's shoulders. He wanted her forever, if she allowed it. Naminé made Roxas feel like more than just a Nobody; she made him feel like somebody. That was one of the best feelings in the world.

"Are you okay?" Namine asked quietly. "After everything?" She knew that she, Roxas, Terra and Aqua didn't experience the same horrors as Sora and Kairi's group; Serah died, after all. That was absolutely tragic. She was glad that she didn't face what they did most of the time, even if Destiny Islands hadn't been its usual paradise.

Roxas had to think about it for a moment, staring ahead of him in silence. "...I'm alright," he said softly, not entirely lying. Nearly losing Naminé in multiple instances shook him up whenever he thought about it, but...he tried not to bring it up. He didn't want to remember.

  • Author

Namine didn't have to see Roxas's face to know that he was lying. She could hear it in his voice and in his hesitation. "Roxas," she said simply, her voice soft. He didn't need to lie to her. She wasn't as fragile as she was a few years ago. She was strong now, and she wanted to help carry the weight of whatever he was going through because she loved him with her entire being.

Roxas lifted his free hand and ran it over his hair, sighing softly. "It's nothing," he said, looking over at the girl he loved. "Really." He just got scared, and she was sure she suffered the same. It was hard not to get scared when they were with the others, even if they did have each other.

Namine let the silence speak for itself. She didn't believe that it was "nothing." Everything that happened in Valhalla was hurtful and nothing good came out of it for anyone. She just didn't know specifically what could be bothering Roxas, which was why if she was going to know, he would have to tell her.
