Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

It took a few moments, but Lightning rolled out of Riku's arms and sat up. "Let's do something," she suggested. She didn't know what that something would be, but she wanted to do an activity with Riku. Not only would it take her mind off Valhalla again, but she also just wanted to spend time with him. There wasn't really a reason needed for why she wanted to go out with him.

"Okay," Riku said, rolling over and putting his hands behind his head. "Now that Cocoon is up and running again, what fun things do you have to do around here?" His aqua eyes locked onto the blue he loved. She obviously knew more about this place than he did. Did she have any ideas?

Lightning gazed across the room, trying to think. She didn't have much fun on this world because her life was so serious before. But she could think of one popular attraction. "...There's the City of Dreams," she said. "But last time we went there, things didn't go so well." Riku got snapped at by a Chocobo and when they went out to eat afterward, the waitress purposely spilled beverage on Lightning so that she could flirt with Riku. That day was a disaster.

"Yeah, that was a bust," Riku said with a small smirk, looking up at the ceiling. That had been...awful. It was his idea, so of course it didn't work out. He would let Lightning decide what they did this time, just so they could avoid any trouble...like that waitress.

Lightning kept staring ahead, trying to gather an idea. And then she had a plan. "Go home and get cleaned up," she said. "When you come back, we'll do something." She had a "something" in mind now, and she thought it was a good something. Hopefully this would be nothing like that failed date she just brought up.

Riku rolled his eyes jokingly, sighing dramatically. "Fine, I'll go," he said, sitting up and swinging his legs over the mattress. He didn't know why exactly he had to come back, since he didn't know what Lightning had in mind. If she had anything in mind at all.

Lightning ignored Riku's drama and slowly rose from the bed. She raised her arms above her head and stretched herself out, stiff all over from her tense sleep from the first half of the night. If Riku was sticking around, she would have asked him for a back massage or something of the likes to loosen up, but he had to go get ready.

Riku found the shirt he had thrown on the floor the night before, walking over and pulling it over his head. He tugged it over his toned torso and turned to the woman he loved. "Anything specific I should wear?" he asked from his side of the room. Nice shirt and pants? Or just casual?

Light lowered her arms, tugging down the camisole that she wore to bed naturally. "Wear whatever you want," she said cryptically. If he wanted to dress nice, he could, and if he wanted to be more causal, he could do that too. Whatever he did would fit into her plan just fine, or so she hoped.

Riku smiled crookedly at the answer, sensing secrecy behind it. "Alright then," he said. He stepped over and pressed a brief kiss to Lightning's cheek. "I'll be back later." He then started out, running a hand through his messy short hair.

Light matched Riku's crooked smile as she watched him go. Once she heard the door close behind him, she got to work. It was going to take some effort to get everything together, especially when she didn't know exactly when he would be back, but she was going to work hard to make the day special.

It didn't take long for Riku to get home and clean up. After briefly visiting with his parents and Jasmine, he flew back to Cocoon, landing outside Lightning's house on the balcony as he always did. His armor disappeared to reveal his freshly shaven face, a clean navy shirt, and jeans. He wasn't sure how to dress, but this could be both considered nice or casual. Just underneath his collar was Light's necklace, something he fingered through the fabric as he looked for the woman he loved. "Light?"

It wasn't Lightning who came to the balcony where Riku stood. Instead, it was her look-a-like of a sister. Serah received a call that demanded her immediate attention, and when she heard the circumstances, she rushed over to Lightning's house to help her. Now her work was done, and that was good, considering Riku's arrival. "Hey," she greeted casually, though it was hard to hold back a giggle because she knew what was in store for Riku.

Upon seeing Serah, Riku couldn't help but smile. "Hey," he greeted softly, stepping forward and embracing the young girl without thought. He missed her while she was...gone, but it wasn't reality anymore. He would show her brotherly affection from here on out, because he regretted not doing it when he said goodbye a while ago. And Riku wanted to apologize for his behavior with Snow. That wasn't his smartest move.

Serah was surprised by the hug, but she took it in stride and lightly hugged Riku back. She pulled back after a moment and took in his attire, deciding that it would work out for Lightning's plans. And speaking of..."Anyone ever tell you that you have great timing?" she asked with a slight smirk. He came just on time.

Riku shrugged a little, his hands coming back to his sides. "Once or twice," he said with the same small smile. Whatever was going on, it had to do with Lightning's plans, he was sure. Hopefully he looked the part.

"She's back in the bedroom," Serah said, glancing back there briefly before looking towards the front door. It was time that she took her leave. "Have a good day," she called as she began to walk, waving a hand casually in farewell. She would have stuck around, but she wasn't about to interrupt Lightning's plans.

Riku lifted an eyebrow, confused. "Yeah...thanks," he called, watching Serah go. Once she was gone, he started through the room, looking down the hall. "Lightning?" What was she doing back there? Was he allowed to see?

Just hearing Riku's voice made Lightning blush. She called Serah over for a specific purpose, and now that the purpose was complete, Lightning knew that she had to come out of her room. She took in a nervous breath before opening the door and revealing herself to be more than just cleaned up. She wore a white dress Riku bought for her before, and Serah pulled her hair back into and elegant bun along with adding light makeup to make her look more feminine.

Riku blinked, his jaw going slack as his lips parted. "Um..." he stuttered, taking a small step forward. "You, uh... You look...great." The dress held some sentimental value to both of them, since Riku bought it and Lightning seemed to appreciate it. But she reminded him of how she looked the night all of their friends went out to dinner. Riku told her she looked good in white, and that was still true.

Lightning could hardly look in Riku's eyes when he said that; the sincerity and the surprise in his eyes would have overwhelmed her head-on. So she lowered her gaze to his chest while her cheeks remained a gentle pink that somehow matched her hair. "Thanks," she said after a few moments. She was relieved he wasn't freaked out by the sight of her in a dress. In this timeline, she just wore a dress a few days ago for the wedding, but for the two of them, it had been a very long time.

Riku nodded a little, swallowing the lump in his throat. How couldn't he say such a thing? Lightning was gorgeous from the get-go, but like this... She was beautiful. What was the occasion? She was dressed so nicely. Riku tore his eyes from Lightning to look down at his clothes, rubbing the back of his head. Maybe I'm a little underdressed.

Lightning reached out and grabbed Riku's hand after a moment, her eyes still downcast. It wasn't because of him, it was just that she wasn't quite comfortable in her clothes yet. It wasn't often she got so dressed up, but for Riku, she would, even if she didn't really need to for this occasion. She kept hold of his hand and stepped past him, leading him to the front door. It was time to get going.

Riku's hand came down to rest at his side, the other holding Lightning's as she led him outside. He wasn't sure where they were going, but he had a feeling it would be great. Lightning clearly had some plans up her sleeve.

When Lightning and Riku stepped outside, there was a car waiting. It wasn't anything elegant; it was Snow and Serah's car. And the latter was standing by the driver's side door looking goofy. She was their driver for the night, and the black hat that she placed atop her head fit the part. She even put on a black jacket over her shirt to further expand on her role. Light put a hand to her face, not sure whether she should find this situation hilarious or just weird.
