Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Kairi found her smile growing by the end of Sora's gesture, his touch lingering on her skin even if his hand wasn't there anymore. She loved him, very much. And she was lost without him. She needed him, and she wanted him. Forever.

Sora kept his eyes shut, though he was able to tell by his connection to Kairi that she was happy. He was glad, because keeping her happy and safe was his purpose in life.
Kairi let her eyes fall shut after a little while of gazing at Sora. She felt sleepiness coming on, and that was alright with her. She was comfortable and felt safe, and that was all because of the boy next to her.

Sora felt more and more sleepy as the moments dragged on, and he had no problem with letting go of consciousness. The girl he loved was beside him, and the ocean was softly sounding off in the background. What more could he want? With that in mind, he fell asleep.
It took Kairi a few minutes before consciousness left her, but the sound of the waves and Sora's even breathing were enough of a lullaby. Her hands resting on her stomach, Kairi felt into a light slumber.

The next evening...

Sora stood by Kairi's side at one of the stands, a tennis ball in his hand and jars lined up several yards away. He had just started the game, and he saw a few prizes that he could win. Of course, he didn't want something for himself; he wanted to win for Kairi. After all, that was what you were supposed to do at a carnival. It was a big carnival, and all their friends were scattered throughout the area along with other Destiny Islands residents.

Kairi watched Sora with a small smile, hearing sounds of the carnival around her. She loved this time of year, when the mayor put on the annual festival. It was such a nice time to hang out and see everyone again, but she missed it last year due to being in New York. Of course, Kairi was going to make up for that this year, being with the people she loved.

Sora pulled back his arm, eyes on the bottles as he released the tennis ball. His aim was dead on, and he knocked down all of the bottles. He couldn't help but smirk in success, and when the carnival worker asked him what he wanted, he turned to the girl beside him. "What do you want?"
"Um..." Kairi looked up at all the prizes hanging, and she found a cute teddy bear that she would love to have. "That bear, right there," she finally answered, pointing at its place on the wall with a smile.

Sora nodded to the worker, pointing to the one that Kairi wanted. The worker handed the bear to him, and Sora said his thanks before he turned to the girl beside him. He smiled to her, holding out the teddy bear for her to take.
Kairi couldn't help but giggle, taking the bear from Sora's hands and holding it to her chest. "Thank you," she said with a sweet smile. He didn't have to waste his tickets on her, but she did appreciate the thought.

"Sure," Sora said with a smile, nodding to the girl he loved. It really wasn't a big deal, and he liked doing something sweet for the girl that he loved with all his heart.

Chris was walking through the carnival by himself, his "posse" around other areas of the festival. He always hated this place, because the people were much too happy. But then his eyes landed on a couple who was very happy, and he smirked when he realized that he could ruin their happiness. "Well, well, what do we have here?" he asked as he approached the couple. "It's little Sora."

Sora looked at the person who was nearby, and he frowned at the sight of him. He hadn't seen the kid in years, but he knew that smirk anywhere. Chris, the kid who bullied him in elementary school.

Kairi's eyes darted to the boy that started over, her smile fading away at his tone with the boy she loved. She glanced at Sora without thought, but then her gaze immediately went back to the boy. It was Chris; she recognized him from school, and how he picked on everyone, but specifically Sora. And it was usually just to spite Riku.

"Where have you been, Little Sora?" Chris asked, stopping by Sora and Kairi with the same smirk on his face. The kid still looked like a wimp to him, and the girl he was with reminded him of that pathetic blonde he picked on the other day.

Sora ignored the question, turning to look at the girl next to him. "Why don't you go hang out with Terra and the others?" he said, his suggestion in question form. But clearly it wasn't something she could say no to. And besides, they were standing over by the Ferris wheel nearby, like Sora had pointed out before he played the game and won Kairi her bear.

Kairi met Sora's gaze, seeing that through them, he wasn't really asking her to go. He was telling her. "Okay," she said quietly, looking at him before her eyes found Chris. But then she walked away, starting over to where Terra, Aqua, and Ven were standing, waiting in line to get on the Ferris Wheel.

"Look at you, acting all tough," Chris commented, letting the girl leave without picking on her. Sora was his target, not the mayor's adopted daughter. "You sent her away so I wouldn't pick on her. How precious."

"What do you want, Chis?" Sora asked evenly, looking up at the older teen and not feeling frightened like he had when he was a child. He was stronger than that now; he wasn't about to let Chris intimidate him.

"'What do I want'?" Chris repeated, laughing at Sora's question. "If you really want to know, I want to find a trashcan to dump you in and take your girlfriend for myself. She's much too gorgeous for a loser like you to have." He smirked, seeing Sora scowl and growl softly in anger.

Aqua turned her head when she noticed a familiar redhead coming over, letting Terra and Ventus continue to chat. "Hi, Kairi," she said with a small smile, but it faded when she noticed the girl's expression. Was...something wrong?

Kairi smiled weakly, but she didn't let it stay for long. She was actually a little worried. What was going on with Sora and Chris?

"That's it?" Chris asked, referring to Sora's response. "You're still a wuss, after all these years. It's a wonder you could get a girl like that. Probably just dating you out of pity."

"Shut up, Chris," Sora said lowly, his hands in tight fists by his sides. He naturally didn't like people speaking this way, and he hated Chris already. Both of these factors had him on edge, and he didn't feel like he had to put up with this.

"That's the best you've got?" Chris returned, taunting him. He stepped closer and bent down a little bit, getting in Sora's face. "Pathetic. C'mon, Sora, you should be a little stronger than that. But then again, I'm not surprised that you're still a loser. Nothing can change that, not even dating a beautiful girl like her." He motioned his head towards her, and he saw Sora frown more deeply at that.

Aqua saw Kairi glance back towards the direction she came from, and she noticed that Sora was over there with some kid. "Kairi, what's wrong?" the young woman asked, looking down at the girl. What was going on?

Roxas was holding a small bag of cotton candy, both him and Namine sharing it as they walked beside Riku. They'd found him with Wakka and Tidus earlier, and he decided to come with them for a little bit in hopes of finding everyone else.

"Look at you, getting steamed," Chris laughed, seeing Sora's expression up close. "But you won't do anything to get me to back off. Next thing you know, Riku'll be in here to save your sorry--"

Sora snapped at that, remembering what happened when he was a child and Chris picked on him. He pulled back his fist and slugged Chris before he could finish the sentence, forcing him back a step to recover. He glared at the older teen, who looked stunned and then angry at Sora for throwing a good punch.

Riku heard a few gasps from people nearby, seeing them back off from two people. But when he saw that those two people were his best friend and his childhood enemy, he ran over. "Hey!" he cried, seeing Sora looking steamed.

Roxas caught Riku running away, and he was glad Namine was holding the package of cotton candy. He glanced at her before he followed in Riku's footsteps, rushing over to Sora.

Kairi heard the cry and turned around, her eyes widening when she saw Riku and Roxas rushing over to Sora...and Chris looking like he was in shock. What just happened?

Namine stopped where she was, surprised to see two of her best friends running over towards Sora and...Chris?! What was he doing here??

Chris heard the cry but didn't recognize the voice, and he recovered from his shock in time to stare at Sora.

"Whoops," Sora said, ignoring the people around him as he stared at Chris. He didn't notice Riku's call, glaring at the person in front of him. But he wanted to throw another punch now, and he would gladly do that if Chris took a step closer.

"Comedian, huh?" Chris said to Sora's comment, taking a step forward and swinging his arm at Sora. The kid wanted a fight? He would give it to him. But his fist failed to make contact with Sora's head, and that gave the brunet time to bring back his arm and then start to thrust it forward at the taller teen again.

Riku made it over in time to grab onto Sora's arm from behind, pulling it back instantly with a grunt. He held onto his friend, while Roxas took the other side to try to restrain him. "Sora, stop it!"
  • Author
Sora grunted, feeling two people restraining him from behind. He heard the voice and recognized it at Riku's, and that only made him more angry. "Lemme go!" he said, glaring at the teen in front of him who looked amused by the scene. Riku should have known how much he hated Chris; he had the right to do this!
"Forget it," Riku said, his grip tightening on Sora as he pulled him back. "Don't do this here!" Kairi probably wasn't too far off, and this carnival was thrown by her father, and there were tons of people around. He coudn't fight in a public place.
