Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku had clenched his fist to throw another punch, but upon seeing Sora lean away, he smirked in triumph. He kicked his best friend's shin under the table. That comment was definitely a reason to deserve to be hurt. Sora often turned to Riku when things got mentally challenging, or he was lost in previous missions and wasn't sure what to do. Riku took it as a compliment most times, but now his friend would regret insulting him to such a degree. Even if Lightning was incredibly intelligent.

Lightning grunted when the foot impacted her shin instead of Sora's. Maybe Riku was putting a little too much force into punishing Sora. When she looked up and caught Sora's expression, he caught on easily enough and laughed.

"Like I said, she's the brains," Sora said, though he pulled his legs to the other side to avoid a kick from Riku. How'd he mess up who to kick though? It was obvious who was on which side of him. You're slipping, Riku.

Riku's smirk disappeared the second Lightning grunted, and he looked over at her with wide, apologetic eyes. Oh, crap! Sorry! he wanted to say, but Sora's remark had him frowning. Riku sat back in his seat and crossed his arms, glancing off to the side as he grumbled curses under his breath.

Lightning recovered and chuckled, shaking her head. "C'mon, Riku," she said calmly. "At this rate, it'll be one to two." He had to prove that he had brains by fixing the situation. She saw a few outs, but if she told any of them to him, then it would only prove Sora's point. He had to find a way to pull it together and make up for kicking the wrong person.

Riku glanced from Lightning to his friends, seeing that Kairi was smiling at him. But he knew what was behind that smile: a challenge. And he always accepted those. He reached over and grabbed Lightning's hand, running his thumb over her skin. "Sorry, baby," he said with a genuine smile. "I'll make it up to you. I'm good with romance, unlike Sora. Kairi's heard some plans I've had in mind, so she can vouch for that."

Kairi's smile was no longer one of taunting; now it was of agreement. "He's right," she said, looking over at Lightning. "Not of Sora not being romantic of course! Just that...he's got some very nice ideas in mind." She smiled in Lightning's direction. "You'll really like them."

Lightning looked between the two, noticing Sora mumbling protests between them. "What types of plans?" she asked either one of them. And did this happen while she was getting food? She guessed it was okay that they were talking about her, but part of the reason that she stepped away was so the trio could talk about other things, like the honeymoon or whatever.

Riku and Kairi shared a look, and the redhead sheepishly shrugged. "I can't say," she said with a shake of her head. "They're supposed to be...surprises. You'll know what they are when they happen." She wasn't going to squeal. Riku would kill her for that.

"This again, huh?" Light sighed, leaning back in her chair. That was when she noticed the brunet across from her ending his mumbling that he was actually very good at romance and Riku had it all wrong. "Hey, Sora," she called, recapturing his attention. "You know what plans he has for me?"

Sora thought about it for a moment, leaning forward in his own seat in concentration. "Well," he started, still compiling his thoughts. What did Riku tell them again? He was having a hard time remembering...

Kairi's eyes widened, and when she saw Riku shoot a warning look in her husband's direction, she grabbed his hand and squeezed it. "Sora," she said in caution. Please don't say anything... Riku had some very nice plans in store for the woman he loved. Sora couldn't spoil it....

Sora blinked, looking over at Kairi and then at Riku. Both their thoughts were clear. "Oh, right," he said aloud, remembering one key detail. "Sorry, it's a secret." He couldn't spill the details to Lightning when she wasn't supposed to know what was going on.

"But I gave you food..." Light tried. She knew that anyone who gave Sora food was a friend, but she still didn't expect to get anything out of him. Riku was keeping everyone quiet about whatever this was.

Riku reached over and grabbed a handful of his fries before grabbing Sora's face and stuffing them in his mouth. He then looked to Lightning. Now her argument was invalid. She had to realize by his and Kairi's actions that what he had in mind was seriously secret. She couldn't know...

Light watched Sora struggle around his mouthfull of food for a moment before she lifted a hand in surrender. "Alright, I give," she sighed. She focused her attention on Riku, giving him some advice. "But whatever plans you have, you better put them into action soon, before I actually start snooping." Like Sora pointed out, she was smart. She could figure out what was going on if she really wanted to.

Riku only smiled crookedly as he leaned back in his chair again. "Noted," he said with a small nod. He would make sure that if Lightning actually did snoop, he would lead her down a stray path. He wasn't going to let her find out what plans he had in store. No way.

"I wasmt amout to say anyhing..." Sora said around the fries.  It was going to take him a minute to completely eat them, but Riku had to know that he wasn't going to spoil the secret. Even if Lightning did give him food, which he deeply appreciated, he wasn't going to ruin the surprises Riku had planned.

Riku glanced over at Sora with the same crooked smile, watching him chew around his fries before he looked to Kairi. "Don't you two have another couple to see?" he asked, lifting an eyebrow. Naminé would surely want to hear about the honeymoon, and Roxas would probably want to play video games now that Sora was back.

Kairi blinked in realization. "Oh, yeah!" she said, looking to her husband. "Roxas and Naminé don't know we're back yet. We should go surprise them too." They already did that to Riku and Lightning, which went quite well. Kairi was excited to see the two blondes as well.

"Right now?" Sora whined in dismay. He still had another burger to eat! Yeah, he was excited to see two of his other close friends, but he at least wanted to finish eating first. It was probably rude to just up and leave his food like that when Lightning waited so long to get it for him.

Kairi pursed her lips, contemplating whether they should leave now or not. "...Finish your food," she said, feeling motherly once again. "Then we'll go." She doubted it would be too long. Sora had downed most of the food on his tray in a few minutes' time.

Sora cast Kairi a grateful smile before picking up  his second burger and beginning that one. He'd try to make it quick; he could tell by her hesitant answer that she wanted to leave as soon as possible to see Roxas and Namine. He wondered what those two were up to. He knew that Roxas was working on a project of his own for Namine...Wonder who's going to propose first, he mused, thinking of his two best friends.

The next day

Roxas had planned the entire day for Naminé's enjoyment. He talked to Sora just after he and Kairi got back, spilling his newest secret: today was the day. The meadow was finally complete, restored to its former glory after hours of hard work. The opportunity was before him, since he and Naminé would be leaving in a couple days to visit the worlds. Now was his chance... Today was the day he would propose to the girl he loved. After getting lunch at the beachside café and visiting the local music festival at the park, Roxas decided it was time for his next surprise. He grasped Naminé's hand as she listened to the music, a faint smile present on his face. "Hey," he said softly. "There's something I want you to see. This way."

Namine looked away from the band on stage when Roxas caught her hand. "Okay..." she said, going along with whatever he wanted her to see. You're full of surprises today... She knew that he wanted to devote the whole day to a date, and the reason was obvious to her. It had been hard to have fun since Valhalla. And now that Sora and Kairi were back too, it felt even better to kick back, even if they were busy today.

Roxas only smiled gently, lightly tugging on Naminé's hand as he led her away from the festival. They were near the beach already, so it didn't take long to reach the dock. He had on a pair of cargo shorts and a t-shirt, and he was glad Naminé decided to wear shorts; she wouldn't mind as much if they got wet. He approached the dock as he held her hand, his smile slowly growing when he spotted the jet skis. This was going to be awesome.

Namine followed Roxas's gaze to the jet-skis and then looked back at him just to make sure she followed his gaze correctly. "Okay, what's this?" she laughed. Jet skis were the only things that she saw here along the shore that he would want to show her. He couldn't be serious...

Roxas turned his head and flashed a grin in Naminé's direction. "Jet skis," he said in excitement. They were going to take those things out for a ride...and ski behind them if Naminé was up for it. Roxas was definitely going to do it, that was for sure. He would encourage Naminé to do the same; it was time she let loose after Valhalla.

"I can see the jet skis," Namine said in amusement. "Unless they're here for me to paint on, I'm not sure what you expect me to do with them..." She wasn't the type of person who went out of her comfort zone and did stuff like jet skiing; she liked being calm, cool, and collected.

Roxas chuckled a little. "I expect you to ride them with me," he said, bringing Naminé with him as he stepped onto the dock. He waved with his free hand at the man who was here to hand the jet skis off, as well as the life jackets. They would definitely need these, even if he and Naminé were strong swimmers.
