Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas shook his head, placing his hands on Naminé's shoulders once her jacket was on. "Nuh-uh," he said with the same small smile. "That's still a secret. And to make sure you don't find out until we get there..." He walked over to the couch, where he placed a blindfold. "...You'll be wearing this." He held it up for her to see. Naminé wasn't going to know anything until their destination was reached.

Namine eyed the blindfold and laughed. "You're kidding," she said, though she knew that Roxas was serious. Well, serious in his own goofy kind of way. He was seriously going over the top for this date. It made sense considering this was their first proper date in a long time, and she was flattered and everything, but a blindfold? That was silly.

Roxas flashed a cheesy grin. "Just trust me," he said, approaching the girl he loved. "You'll thank me later." The surprise would be that much better, at least in his eyes. He couldn't wait to finally show Naminé the meadow. The last time she saw it, she was devastated. It would be completely different now.

"If it's a puppy, you're right," Namine joked lightly. As Roxas prepared with the blindfold, she closed her eyes. She generally didn't like surprises, but if Roxas was going to get her something like a puppy, she'd not only forgive him for the surprise, but also hug him till he was out of breath. She wanted a dog for a very long time.

"Heh," Roxas laughed softly, tying the blindfold behind Naminé's blonde head. He finished, making sure it was secure before he stepped out to be in front of her. "Can you see anything?" He waved his hand in front of her face to test the waters, not wanting any of this to be spoiled. He worked far too hard for anything to ruin it.

"I wish I could," Namine said, adopting a crooked smile. Even when she did peek her eyes open behind the piece of fabric, she couldn't see a thing. She could feel some air from Roxas waving his hand in front of her, but she was completely in the dark when it came to vision.

Roxas smirked in triumph. "Perfect," he said, then reaching for Naminé's hand. He led her toward the door as they began their exit. "I won't lead you off a cliff, I promise. I love you too much to do that...and Kairi would kill me." He would face Kairi's wrath, which wasn't really his cup of tea. She was scary.

Namine laughed at the joke. "Yeah she would," she agreed easily. Kairi and Namine were like sisters, so if Namine was ever upset or put in danger, Kairi was the perpetrator's worst enemy. Riku was a close second though. She had a lot of people that were protective of her, but none more than the person leading her to some strange destination.

Roxas led Naminé out of the apartment and summoned his glider outside. After helping Naminé onto it, he sped off and started toward the meadow. The sun was setting, and it was beautiful, so it was too bad Naminé couldn't see it. But this was for the best. She would be able to watch the sunset very soon, from their spot atop the cliff. It would be great.

Namine stood behind Roxas on the glider, her arms securely around him. Now more than ever, she was tempted to discard the blindfold. She didn't want to ruin the surprise or anything like that, it was just that... "I didn't think riding on your glider could be any more frightening," she said over the wind. Knowing that losing her balance could make her and Roxas fall was scary, but knowing that and being blindfolded was so much worse.

Roxas laughed softly and squeezed his larger hand over Naminé's arms around his stomach. "Don't worry. We're here," he declared over the wind, lowering his glider to hover a small foot above the ground. He took Naminé's hands and pulled them from around his stomach and helped her down before hopping off himself. He looked at the meadow one last time before revealing it, taking in a deep breath and letting it out. "Okay... Ready?" It was time to show her his surprise.

Namine's nerves from flying changed into nerves of anxiousness. "I guess," she said, though it was hard for her not to adopt Roxas's excitement. "It sure sounds like you are," she teased. Whatever this was, he was extremely excited about it, and he trusted that she would be too. Once she saw it, she was sure she would love it, just because Roxas was so passionate about it.

Roxas stepped behind Naminé and untied the blindfold, keeping it in his hands once it was off. He stepped over so he could see her face, smiling in nervousness. "Open your eyes," he requested softly. It was time she saw her favorite place, their favorite place.

Namine hesitated for half a second before her eyes opened. And when they were open, they opened completely. This place was their special place. Their private meadow atop of the cliff. It was destroyed a long time ago, but now it was the opposite. Rebuilt with even more than before. Red and White Rose bushes and other plants that she recognized from other places on the Islands. The trees were smaller than before, since they were newly planted trees that were just beginning to get big and tall. Her cheeks turned pink in awe, the girl turning slightly to see the sunshine that was reflected into this entire area. It was even more beautiful than it was before.

Roxas looked from the meadow to Naminé, seeing her expression. He smiled nervously, not knowing what to think. Did she like it? Was it okay? He glanced at his creation, sure that fireflies would show up soon since the sun was setting. "So...what do you think?" Roxas asked, voice soft. What did Naminé think of his surprise?

Namine had so many things that she was thinking. She looked back to Roxas, trying to piece all of her thoughts together in a sentence that was actually coherent. "But it...When did you...how did you...And roses...and new trees, and..." She kept her eyes locked onto his, believing she saw amusement along with the nervousness. She didn't wait for an answer as she glomped him in a spontaneous hug.

Roxas blinked at the hug, but he didn't waste any time hugging Naminé back. He held her close, smiling. "It took me a long time, but I bought the plants and put in the trees. I did it for you. I had to, after seeing you so upset the last time," he explained. This place meant a lot to Naminé, and to him. It was special, and it needed to be fixed. Better than before, if possible.

Namine slowly withdrew, setting her hands on Roxas's arms as she smiled at him. "It's never been more beautiful," she said softly. The meadow may have been a natural beauty before, but this place held new significance now. This was now the place that Roxas discovered and made for her. She would always cherish this place.

Roxas could only smile, pride and love in his eyes. He was happy he could do something so special and significant for Naminé. She deserved it, after all she went through. He experienced a lot of darkness in his life too, but she was so innocent. If anybody deserved their own sanctuary, it was Naminé. Someone he hoped said "yes" tonight.

Namine looked past Roxas to the meadow again, and then her gaze landed on him. She couldn't help but giggle, just because she was so happy. This place was always special but now it was even better. She leaned forward and gave Roxas a peck on the lips, knowing that she couldn't stop smiling long enough to give him a proper gift. She didn't even know how to begin saying "thank you."

Roxas's lips automatically formed a smile when Naminé pulled away from the small show of affection. He looked from her to the meadow and then back again. "Well go on," he said with a small jerk of his head. Go take a look around. He knew she wanted to see all of the restoration up close.

Namine giggled lightly, slowly taking her hands away from Roxas's arms. She did give him one more kiss on the lips before she took him up on his offer. Her feet aimlessly walked around, her eyes wandering. There were so many colors. Red, white, purple, blue, green, pink...She was sure the pink matched her cheeks, which were colored because of her excitement. I wish I had my sketchpad. I need to draw this. It's too beautiful...

Roxas watched Naminé, placing his hands in his pockets. She was like an angel, walking through the meadow with grace and beauty that he adored. And she was his. That felt best. He glanced at the fallen tree trunk that lingered from the destruction, thinking it best to keep a part of the old meadow in with the new. Just inside it, he stored a backpack full of stuff; snacks, a blanket, and Naminé's sketchbook. His guitar was there as well. Roxas figured they would be spending a few hours here tonight.

Namine wandered to the front of the meadow, standing where she could best see the sunset. Its colors were as amazing as the flowers were. No, a million times more exciting. She sat herself down and stared at it, unable to help but smile. She loved sunsets and sunrises. Sunsets were like a promise. The light may have been going away for the night, but it would come back just as beautifully in the morning. If only she could actually wake up and see sunrises...She had a feeling she would do that tomorrow, just to absorb all of its beauty.

When Roxas saw Naminé sit down, he ventured over to the trunk and grabbed his backpack and guitar. He approached her and stopped next to her, holding out the sketchpad he fetched from inside his bag. "Here," he said softly. Naminé could draw the view while he set out the snacks.
