Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine tightly moved her hand away from her lips, moving the other along with it to hold it steady. She couldn't help but let out a weak chuckle for more reasons than one. One was that she was just so happy, and another was that she was already crying and having to hold her hand still because of that. She was a wreck, but a happy one.

Roxas took Naminé's left hand and slowly placed the shining ring on her finger, though it was tricky due to her trembling hands. He held onto her hand and rose to his feet, just looking at her. She said yes... She really said yes! Roxas closed the gap between them and placed his hands on Naminé's cheeks, cupping her face as he crushed his lips to hers. This woman was his fiancée.

Namine squeezed her eyes shut, setting her hands on Roxas's shoulders when he moved in and kissed her. She could hardly keep herself from smiling or laughing in glee. She already couldn't stop herself from crying those tears of joy that slithered down towards Roxas's hands on her cheeks. She would have him by her side, forever.

After a small moment of gleeful and grateful kissing, Roxas pulled away to look at his fiancée. His hands were slightly wet with fallen tears, and he wiped away the streaks with his thumbs. "Naminé, honey..." he said softly. He knew they were tears of joy, but...they were still hard to see. They were to be married, and he was sure that she would cry on their wedding day. Regardless, he would be there to wipe the tears away. He always would be.

Namine laughed weakly in apology, knowing what Roxas was getting at. She had an idea where he wouldn't have to see the tears anymore, even if they kept flowing. She wrapped her arms around him completely and practically tackled him in an embrace, her eyes squeezing shut as she hugged him tightly. I love you.

Roxas wrapped his arms around Naminé, but after a moment, he couldn't contain his glee. He lifted her up and spun her around in circles amongst the taller grass and fireflies and flowers, laughing softly to himself. "You said yes!" he cheered with joy. Naminé agreed to marry him...

Namine laughed along with Roxas, holding onto him tightly even though she didn't fear falling out of his arms. "You proposed!" she exclaimed in wonder and happiness. He proposed and she hadn't even seen it coming! Maybe she was a little dense, but she sincerely thought today was just a big date for the heck of it. Now she knew it was all leading up to this perfect moment.

Roxas spun around once more before placing Naminé down, his hands resting on her waist as he looked at her. "Of course I did," he said with a small chuckle. "How couldn't I? After all we survived...I couldn't waste anymore time." He had to make Naminé his wife before it was too late.

"I'm glad," Namine smiled. She wrapped her arms around the back of Roxas's neck, feeling her new ring brush against her other hand. "I love you." They felt like such cheap words after all that was said and done, but whatever the words didn't convey, her eyes and heart did. Fortunately Roxas was good at reading both of those.

Roxas couldn't help but smile. "...I love you too, Naminé," he declared softly, leaning forward and placing a kiss to her forehead. How couldn't he? Like he said, she was his guiding light. She always brought him to the surface, but she kept him grounded. She gave him the will to keep going when he believed he didn't have the strength. He would always be grateful to her for that.

Namine smiled, moving one of her hands to wipe at her cheeks again. "Any way we can stay up here forever?" she laughed. This place had so much happiness for the both of them. All the moments they shared atop this hill, stargazing and playing guitar and drawing and just enjoying each other's presence...and now a proposal on top of it all. She never wanted to come down from here.

Roxas glanced around, seeing that his magic faded and the words in the sky were gone. Now there was just a simple glow around the meadow. "...I'm sure we can figure something out," he said, looking back to his fiancée. He would think of something. If they never wanted to leave...what could they do to keep it that way?

"Can we stay the night, at least?" Namine pleaded. She didn't care that it was going to be freezing. She just wanted to stay on the top of that hill until she had to get down. If only she would have thought to bring a blanket or something, then they could have slept comfortable up there.

Roxas smirked slightly, lifting a hand to touch under Naminé's chin. "You know, I'm convinced even more that we're meant for each other," he declared. "I just happened to bring a blanket with me..." Which meant that with the help of a fire, they would be warm enough tonight.

Namine laughed softly. "I'm glad you were sure of it before I had this idea," she teased. If he wasn't certain they were meant for each other when he proposed, well, there would have been a few problems. Obviously he was sure all along though, because Roxas would never propose something so serious and risk hurting her if he wasn't sure of himself.

Roxas chuckled softly and placed a small kiss to Naminé's lips before releasing her and venturing toward his backpack. On the way, he grabbed his guitar so he could put it in its case. Its purpose was complete; he didn't need it anymore tonight, unless Naminé wanted to hear him strum aimlessly. That was common when they were up here, after all. It had been so long that Roxas had almost forgotten what it was like to be here, in the meadow. Sora and Kairi may have had the Secret Place, but Roxas and Naminé had their special spot too. Full of memories from their past, but nothing could beat what was happening now. His proposal would always be here, even if he and Naminé weren't. That memory was too strong to disappear.

While Roxas was busy, Namine went back to the sketchbook she discarded earlier. The picture on the top, while glorious and screaming happiness, couldn't convey the joy she felt now. Once she held the book and pencils in her hands, she gazed not at the picture, but at the ring on her finger. She still couldn't believe it...She was the happiest girl in the world.

Roxas grabbed the blanket from his backpack and laid it out for him and Naminé to use, glancing over at her as he did. He couldn't help but smirk, both in happiness and pride. He proposed to her. He finally did it, and she accepted. He was one of the luckiest guys in the world. A Nobody that was a Somebody because of the girl before him. He would never forget that.

Namine caught Roxas looking at her and immediately noticed that cheeky grin he wore. She couldn't help but blush and return the smile with a similar expression. He was a goof, but he was hers. She walked over to him and sat down on the blanket, placing her things beside her. She didn't think she could focus on drawing right now, because she couldn't get her joy to transfer to paper. It was too great for that.

Roxas took a seat beside Naminé, their sides touching as his guitar sat in its case next to him. It was a bit chilly, and he did have a jacket on, but Roxas was warm anyway. This proposal, this night, this day in general had been fantastic. Everything went according to plan. He couldn't have been more relieved. Roxas sighed, his eyes on the view before them. The hard work paid off.

Namine slowly laid on her back, gazing up at the stars. Fireflies flickered their lights in the corners of her vision, and Roxas remained partly in her sight. Today was full of surprises, and they were all good ones. The music festival, the stuff on the ocean, their special place being intact, and the proposal. A perfect day with the perfect man.

Roxas flopped back to lay beside Naminé, groaning softly. "I'm glad it's over," he admitted, his hands resting on his chest. "I was so nervous." He loved hearing Naminé say yes, and seeing her face when he asked. But the whole thing stressed him out. His heart was still beating against his chest.

Namine laughed lightly. "As if I would ever say now to you," she said, turning to gaze at him. She could never turn him down; he was the only boy she truly loved, and that would stay true for the rest of her life. Roxas was her soul-mate.

Roxas couldn't help but smile, his eyes on the stars. "It was you or no one," he admitted softly. He then turned his head to meet Naminé's gaze. "Sora and Kairi have nothing to do with that feeling." It was all him. He may have been Sora's Nobody, and Naminé may have been Kairi's, and while that did stir some feelings in the beginning, they were their own people now. Roxas held his own feelings for Naminé, not Sora's for Kairi. That was monumental, at least to him.

"Ditto," Namine responded, reaching over and moving some of his blond hair. She knew that because they were Sora and Kairi's Nobodies, they were automatically drawn together, but this wasn't some forced bond. She and Roxas were connected to each other because of who they were as individuals. Their falling in love was completely their choice, and it was the best thing that ever happened to her.
