Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Anything involving Chris and my friends does give me a right," Riku said over his shoulder, continuing forward. "You know that just as well as I do." Chris knew that too; he always had.

Sora's hands curled into fists by his sides, and he continued to follow Riku down the path. "So you got to fight him instead of me because of your 'right'," Sora said. "What about my right to fight my own battles?"
"Correct me if I'm wrong," Riku said, stopping and turning around. "But you did punch him at least once, didn't you?" He arched an eyebrow at Sora, sarcasm in his voice. Sora did fight, but Riku just did the remainder of it. First it was to stop the fight, but then it was because he was furious that Chris would actually hurt Sora. What was so wrong about that?

Sora stopped as well, staring up at Riku with bright blue eyes. "Yeah, I punched him once," he said coolly. "That wasn't good enough for me." That was why he tried attacking him again, but Riku and Roxas had stopped him before the punch could land.
"You still fought him. Stop complaining," Riku said, then turning around and starting to walk again. Sora punched him once, and even if it was only one time, it was still a fight. With Sora's logic, that was enough.

"Riku!" Sora called, feet planted as he stared after his best friend. He didn't care if he was complaining; he had a right to speak about this.
Riku stopped at the holler, turning around and looking at his friend. He waited, wanting to know what exactly Sora had to say.

"That was my fight," Sora said, staring at his best friend a few yards away. "Why'd you punch him after you tried ending the fight?" It didn't make sense for Riku to attack him after he tried calming things down.
"Because he hit you," Riku answered. "I wasn't going to let him get the satisfaction of such a cheap shot." Why else would he hit Chris? Yeah, he hated him, but it wasn't right to just punch him outright without good reason. He punched Sora; that was a good enough reason.

"I'm capable of defending myself," Sora said tensely, frowning when Riku seemed to imply that he couldn't. Sora had fought many battles before, and even if not many were fist-fights, he knew how to defend himself.
"I'm aware of that, but that's not gonna stop me from sticking up for my friends," Riku stated. Sora knew that perfectly well, and he shouldn't have forgotten it. Riku was doing what he thought was right, and now he was getting lectured for it?

"You 'sticking up' for me made me look like a fool in front of Chris," Sora said, his eyes still locked on his best friend. "If you would have let me fight my own battle, we wouldn't be here right now." Sora would have been kicked out, but he didn't care about that. The point is, he would have gotten his vengeance with Chris.
Riku frowned, his eyebrows furrowing. "That's all you care about? How you looked in front of Chris?" he asked in astonishment, walking toward his best friend. That was ridiculous. "His only goal is to get your riled up and to get under your skin. You just gave him the satisfaction by admitting that. Would you like to go find him and tell him? Because I won't be there to help you this time, if that's what matters most to you, Sora."
  • Author
Sora frowned at Riku, hands in fists. That reminded him of what Chris started to say before Sora punched him, about Riku saving him. "I don't need your help," he said. "Just because your a Keyblade Master and I don't even have a Keyblade anymore doesn't mean that I can't handle my own affairs. Stay out of my business." He glared at Riku, walking forward and going past him.

Riku blinked at the words thrown at him, but they also infuriated him. "That's it," he said, reaching out and grabbing the back of Sora's hood, pulling him back. He wasn't walking away, not after saying that.

Roxas could only watch from his place a few feet away, his eyes alert and wide as he observed the scene before him. Things were getting really heated now, which definitely wasn't good.

  • Author
Sora gritted his teeth, stumbling back a step when Riku yanked at his hood. He brought up a hand to smack Riku's away, angered that Riku was restraining him again.
Riku saw Sora's hand coming up, and he let go of his hood and smacked it away from him, knowing exactly what he was trying to do. "What is your problem?" he asked, his voice louder in defense at what Sora just said to him. "Are you seriously jealous of what I've done?"
  • Author
Sora locked his jaw, keeping his back to Riku at the questions. Was he jealous? ...Yes, he was. And he was ashamed of that. But he was too angry with the circumstances to admit that shame aloud.
Riku saw that Sora wouldn't answer, and wouldn't turn around. He was going to fix that. "Sora!" Infuriated, Riku pulled on Sora's shoulder, turning him around.
  • Author
Sora was forcefully turned around, and he felt his angered eyes go up to Riku's. But then he looked back down towards the ground, hands in tight fists by his sides. Riku needed to back off.
"Answer me!" Riku ordered firmly. He needed answers, and he needed them now. If his best friend was seriously mad that Riku got a high honor and thought that was the reason he interfered, they had a big problem.
  • Author
Sora looked up at Riku's harsh tone, and he couldn't help but be sarcastic in order to defend himself. "Is that an order, Master?" he asked lowly. He really didn't want to answer Riku's question, and if it came down to it, he would walk away.
Riku gave Sora a look of disbelief in his glare. "Mature of you," he said lowly, his tone holding anger. Sora was really going to stoop to that? That hurt. A lot.
  • Author
Sora silently held Riku's glare, realizing that he was acting a bit childish. But being immature was better than spilling the beans and letting Riku know that he was really ashamed of his envy.
Riku kept his eyes aligned with Sora's, but after a minute, he shook his head. He held the bridge of his nose, fighting off irritation and a headache. "You know what? Forget it," he said, tone calmer. "I already know the answer." He lowered his hand and looked at Sora, then pushing past him, starting down the path again. Some friend.
