Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku nodded once, uncrossing his arms. He lifted a hand and gently squeezed Kairi's shoulder closest to him, offering her a small smile.

Kairi's eyes moved from Sora to Riku, and she smiled weakly at her best friend. She then silently nodded to him, telling him it was alright. She would be fine... She always was.

Aqua saw the exchange between Riku and Kairi and smiled warmly at the young girl. "It was nice to finally see you again, Kairi," she said softly. She was actually very happy Kairi was safe, after being attacked by the Unversed before.

Kairi's blue eyes found those of Aqua, and her smile remained. "You too. Good luck to you," she wished her old friend. Now that she was free from the Dark Realm, Kairi hoped things went well for her. She deserved it, after all.

Sora stayed silent, watching the interaction between Aqua and Kairi. Again he wondered how they met, but he didn't question it since there were more important matters. When things settled down completely, then he could ask either Kairi or Aqua about their past together.

Riku removed his hand from Kairi's shoulder and turned his attention to Aqua. "This way," he said, motioning with his arm toward the door that just beyond the bridge, which led to the other side of the island.

Aqua nodded, her small smile fading in seriousness. She turned in that direction and started to follow Riku beyond the bridge, toward their ship.

Sora watched Riku and Aqua walk for a few moments before he turned to look at the girl beside him, his eyes naturally soft with her. He knew that it was time for them to say goodbye...again. But even if the goodbye wasn't easy, it was still worth seeing her again, even if it had only been for a short while.
Kairi exhaled a small breath, her eyes turning away from the two people walking away and finding the only person who was still with her. Unfortunately, he had to leave soon too. She doubted this goodbye would be as hard as the first, but it would still be difficult. Goodbyes always were with her.

"Well, we're one step closer to finishing this," Sora said, a weak smile forming on his lips to provide some reassurance for Kairi. Finding Aqua was a big step in fulfilling their duty, and now that she was leading them to Ven, they only really had to worry about Terra. But still, he had a feeling things would move quickly from this point on.
Sora's small smile brought one out of Kairi, and she nodded to his words. She knew he was right, and she hoped he returned soon if he had the time. She would miss him, but she had to let him go for the greater good. It was for the best.

Sora felt his smile widen at Kairi's faint one, and he nodded once. "Stay strong," he said softly, lifting his free hand and tucking back some of Kairi's hair. "I'll try to come back to you soon." He didn't know what would happen after they found Ventus, but he was ready for whatever this mission threw at him.
Kairi's smile turned soft at Sora's soft touch, and she squeezed his hand that she still held. "I will," she replied softly. "Keep each other safe." If anything happened to them--any of them--she would be devastated. Of course, she knew they would look after each other; Sora and Riku always had each other's backs, and now they would surely have Aqua's.

"We will," Sora assured Kairi, his hand coming back down to his side. They would be even safer now that they had a real Keyblade Master traveling with them. He was actually curious as to how strong Aqua was in battle, but he wouldn't mind not seeing her fight, since he didn't want this mission to include much battling.
Kairi's small smile remained as she took one last look at the blue eyes she loved. Sora had to go now; it was his duty. And as much as she wanted him to stay, it would be unfair. Terra and Ventus needed him, and so did Aqua.

Sora leaned forward, giving Kairi a light kiss on the top of her head. After a few moments, he pulled back and looked down at the girl whose hand he was still holding. "I love you," he said softly, meaning it with all his heart.
"And I love you," Kairi replied, her smile having grown at the words and the small kiss. Her response was completely honest and true, speaking from her heart. She prayed for Sora's safety, as well as her friends'. As long as they stuck together, they would be victorious.

Sora squeezed Kairi's hand a little bit before he let go of it, his hand coming back down to his side as he held her gaze. "See ya later," he said softly. He never said "goodbye", because that made it sound like he would be gone forever. Gone...and forgotten. But he knew that would never be the case when he left any place he visited, and it especially wasn't the case with Kairi.
Kairi brought both of her hands behind her back, holding them together. She nodded to Sora with an encouraging smile, silently wishing him good luck. She would be alright until he returned, simply in her belief that he would come back. That kept her going when he was gone.

Sora kept a small smile on his face, the teen giving Kairi a faint nod at her silent message. He took a few steps backward before he turned around and started walking forward, towards where he and Riku had parked the Gummi ship. It was time to go get Ventus.
Kairi watched Sora go until she could no longer see him. When he was no longer within her sight, she turned her eyes to the sky. Her boys would be alright...and they would get Aqua's friends back.

A few minutes later, Sora was approaching the ship, and he saw that the ramp was already down. Riku and Aqua must already be inside, he thought, walking up the ramp and into the ship himself. Sure enough, there were the two people he was looking for.
Aqua stood in the middle of the ship, her eyes roaming it. It was so...strange. Riku called it a Gummi ship, something created from pieces left behind of a meteor shower. She didn't question his judgement, finding him and Sora wise beyond their years. Besides, they knew more than her at this point, and she was sure there was more she still needed be clued in on.

Sora turned around once he was up the ramp, pushing a button so that it came back up and the ship closed. He saw Riku already in the pilot's seat, and it didn't bother him; there wasn't much special for a pilot to do anyway, since they warped everywhere. "So, where are we going?" he asked Aqua, starting towards the seat next to Riku.

Aqua turned around, her eyes trailing Sora's movements once she spotted him. "If I remember correctly, the castle we're going to is just beyond both Realms," she said in response. "Are you two familiar with what it's called?"

By the sound of it, Aqua wasn't sure what the place she was talking about was called. But it was a castle, and it wasn't in either the Realm of Light or Realm of Darkness. His eyes were locked on the controls in front of him, and he frowned. He had a feeling he knew what she was talking about. "The Realm of In-Between," he said.

Sora sat down in his chair, glancing at Riku at his tone. It was probably only something Sora could hear, and he felt like he knew why. He didn't know of many places in that Realm, but the one place he knew of was a castle that he despised. Surely Aqua wasn't talking about that place...

"That sounds about right," Aqua said with a small nod. She started over to one of the empty seats closer to the boys, then sitting herself down.

Riku turned his head and met Sora's stare. "I think we may know what castle you're talking about," he said. Castle Oblivion. What else?

  • Author
Sora frowned, knowing all too well what Riku was thinking about and the place that Aqua was referring to. "Castle Oblivion," he said aloud, trying keep his disgust for that place out of his tone. It was hard, though, considering how much he disliked that place.
Aqua blinked. "You've been there?" she asked softly. They couldn't have been. Master Eraqus told her that she was the only one that could go there without fading into oblivion. How did these two make it out alive if they went there?
