Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora watched Riku leave a few steps, but he knew that he couldn't let him walk away like this. "I'm happy for you," he said, hoping that would stop Riku. He had more to say than that.
Riku stopped, eyebrows furrowed as he looked over his shoulder. "And yet you mock me? How does that show that you're happy?" he asked. If Sora was really happy for him, he wouldn't have done that.

Sora couldn't answer that question, so he started saying what else was on his mind. "You deserve to be a Master, Riku," he said more softly, some of his anger and hard tone of voice fading away. "And I'm really proud that you are one. I just..." I just wish that I could be like you and be one too. But I don't even have a Keyblade anymore.
Riku turned around a little bit, looking across his shoulder at his best friend. He just what? Since Sora didn't finish then, Riku would just wait for him to complete the sentence.

"...Nevermind," Sora said, shaking his head. He wasn't going to say something stupid now and look like an idiot in front of Riku. He felt like such a little kid, wanting to be like Riku again. But...His best friend was a great person, strong and thoughtful and everything Sora wanted to be. How could he not look up to him?
Riku's eyebrows remained furrowed, but after a moment, he nodded. "Alright," he said quietly. "...Thanks." He was saying thank you to the fact that Sora was happy and proud of him, but he was still upset his best friend would go as far as calling him Master to spite him.

Sora nodded slightly, lifting a hand and scratching the side of his head. "I'm gonna go," he said, shifting his gaze from the ground to Riku. "See you tomorrow." He started walking in Riku's direction so that he could leave, though he wasn't sure where he would go.
Roxas arched an eyebrow when Sora started off, seeing that Riku wasn't going to stop him. But... "What about the others?" he called after his best friend. "They might be worried." There was no way they could miss that. At the thought, he was actually wondering if Namine was alright after witnessing what happened... He left without finding her.

Sora kept walking, though he did come up with a response. "Tell them everything's fine," he said simply. Whether they believed it or not was up to them, but they couldn't say Sora didn't try to ease their worries.
Roxas opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. He looked to Riku, who simply shrugged. Roxas honestly didn't think that would work, but he would tell them, regardless.

Sora walked past Riku and kept going down the path, his gaze going down to the moonlit path. It had gotten late, but he knew he wasn't going to bed anytime soon.
Riku let his eyes follow Sora for a moment, but he then sighed, looking down at the ground. He thought things were getting better. Maybe he was wrong...

A few minutes later, Terra was walking with the group who left the carnival after Sora, Roxas, Riku, the man having let himself fall to the rear with Aqua. At the top of the hill, he could see two teens on the path, and if he was right, it was Riku and Roxas. Where was Sora?
Kairi had her eyes down on the teddy bear she was still holding to her chest, the girl walking beside her best friend. The small posts allowed some light on their path, that way they didn't trip or walk off it. She kept her gaze down, in silence as she listened to the crickets and footsteps accompanying her own.

Namine looked up after a few moments, seeing that Roxas and Riku were right ahead of them. She nudged Kairi lightly, trying to get her to notice that at least Riku was here.

Kairi turned her head, looking at Namine as she walked beside her. But she then turned her gaze forward, seeing two of her good friends up ahead. But only two...not three.

Roxas thought he heard footsteps, so he turned around a little to see if he was right. He turned completely when he realized that he was, seeing all their friends coming up the path.

Namine took a few more steps before she stopped a few feet away from Roxas. Kairi could walk on ahead if she wanted to; maybe she wanted to speak to Riku. If that was the case, Namine didn't want to intrude.

Kairi saw Namine stop by Roxas, but she kept walking, going up to her best friend. "Riku..." she said softly, coming to a stop next to him. She wasn't sure what to say. She'd witnessed everything...

"...Sorry, Kairi," Riku said, knowing by the look on her face that she was probably devastated by what happened. There was no way to really miss what happened anyway. It was at a carnival, with tons of people around. Everyone saw it.

Roxas had watched Kairi walk by, but then he looked to Namine. He wasn't sure what to say, exactly. He'd gotten himself kicked out of the carnival, but he didn't really care. He was trying to help.

Namine saw Kairi walk up to Riku as she had expected, but then she felt a gaze on her. She turned and looked to Roxas, her eyes finding his. He had gotten in trouble at the carnival as well, but she really wasn't upset with him. And she wasn't upset with Riku or Sora, either; they had their reasons for doing what they did.

Kairi's eyes softened at Riku's apology, but she didn't respond to it. Instead, she asked a question. "Are you okay?" She saw what happened. He hadn't specifically been hurt physically, but that was nasty back there.

Riku nodded. "Yeah..." He was as okay as "okay" could be. He wasn't necessarily happy with what happened during and after Chris, but he would deal. He always did.

Roxas's eyes softened with curiosity, a question being transmitted through them. You saw everything, didn't you? He didn't want Namine to witness anything that happened, but he knew she'd seen worse.

Namine understood the question behind Roxas's eyes, and she answered it with her own. She nodded faintly to convey her answer as well, just in case Roxas didn't see her eyes clearly enough in the dark. Yeah, I saw everything.

"...Where's Sora?" Kairi asked after another minute, seeing that he wasn't around. He didn't go after Chris, did he? That would have been awful.

"I don't know," Riku said with a shrug. "He left just a few minutes ago." He hadn't said where he was going, but he said he would see him tomorrow. He guessed that was a sign that he didn't want to be bothered.

Roxas's eyebrows furrowed at Namine's answer, his eyes going to the ground in thought. He wasn't ashamed for getting kicked out of the carnival, since he was trying to help out his best friend. It just stunk that Namine had to see it happen.

Namine took a few steps forward and set a hand on Roxas's arm, letting him know that she wasn't upset with him for trying to help out. That was a bad situation back there, and she was glad he tried to help keep a fight from breaking out.

Kairi wasn't sure what to think of Riku's answer. Did Sora go home? Or did he just go for a walk? She really wanted to see him... She wanted to make sure he was okay.

Roxas looked up at Namine at the touch, and he smiled weakly at her expression. He understood what she was saying, but still... Chris messed up everything today.

Namine smiled very weakly, her gaze on Roxas's eyes. She didn't hear Riku and Kairi speaking anymore, and she did wonder where Sora was. But she could ask Roxas about it later.
