Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning weaved her other arm around Riku, setting a hand on his back as she pulled him closer still. It had been way too long since she kissed him last. Every kiss that they shared was a way of saying "I love you." She hoped that he got that message from this sign of affection.

Riku found himself carrying the kiss forward, not wanting to stop. It looked like he didn't have to fight affection any longer; Lightning granted him permission. He wasn't going to waste it. This kiss... He wasn't sure when he expected it to happen, but he was glad it was happening regardless.

Lightning pulled back from only the kiss, her hands and body remaining where they were. That kiss was...intense. And sudden on her part. Maybe even unwanted on Riku's side. She looked at his chest with insecurity, a blush creeping into her cheeks. She hoped that kiss was okay.

Riku opened his eyes to find Lightning avoiding his gaze, and he shook his head. "No," he said, leaning down and capturing her lips with his again. That blush was attractive, as was her initiative. But that was what Riku always liked about Lightning: her strong side and her sensitive side. She was just like him in that way, but so different.

Riku's actions took away any doubts or feelings of insecurity she housed. Lightning gladly allowed Riku's lips to engulf hers, her hand grasping the back of his shirt as she kissed him. The feelings were so obviously mutual now; no words were needed for the time being. All they needed was this.

Riku continued to kiss Lightning, ignoring the fact that his dog was still sitting near his feet. His fingertips rested in Lightning's hair, loving the feeling. This was his Lightning... His Light. His Claire. Why was he so stupid?! Why did he break it off?!

When Lightning and Riku both needed breaths, the kiss ended. She kept her head close to his, eyes remaining shut this time as well. There was no need to be scared; with a kiss like that, how could she be? It was exactly the same as it had always been: full of passion, care, honesty, and love.

Riku kept his eyes closed, taking in the moment as he took in some much needed air. That was all the answer he needed. Lightning loved him, something she said as much yesterday and showed through her sacrifice. This also showed her devotion, and he would never second-guess it. "...I'm sorry," he said softly. "I love you so much." He didn't mean to make things so difficult. He had just done what he thought was right for her.

"You keep saying sorry," Lightning commented softly. "But I don't know what you're apologizing for. Sorry." She didn't want to drag anything out of him; she seriously didn't want to make it sound like she wanted Riku to get down on his knees and confess everything he did wrong to boost her ego. She just didn't specifically know what he was saying sorry for.

"Everything. Controlling you, leaving you there against your will," Riku explained lowly. He frowned at the memory, Lightning's cries echoing in his mind. "...It hurt so bad." He felt like he was doing the right thing, but he wasn't. He was doing the opposite.

Lightning moved her hands to Riku's shoulders as she listened, her gaze tilted downward. Those were bitter memories, and she didn't like to hear them. Riku did force her to stay someplace against her will, and because of that, Kain saw opportunity strike and he made subtle moves on her. And that kiss he gave her in the garden still popped into her mind at times...Okay, a lot of times.

"I shouldn't have done that to you," Riku said with a small shake of his head. His hands moved after Lightning's did, his coming to rest on her waist as he held her close. "I know why you kissed Kain in front of me. It was only fair." It hurt worse than anything, but it was fair. He left her there, when she begged him to stop. Why didn't I stay? he asked himself. I should have listened to her...

Lightning shook her head and immediately looked up at Riku. "No," she disagreed. "It wasn't fair at all. I'm sorry I did that. It was stupid." She did that out of anger, while Riku's actions were done with better intent, or so she believed. There was a big difference between their motives when it came to him leaving there and her reasons for kissing Kain.

Riku opened his eyes to meet Lightning's gaze, which were stinging as he fought the moisture. It took something big to make Riku cry, and this was one of those things. "...As long as you didn't kiss him like that," he said with a faint smirk, "I forgive you." That kiss was...Wow. He would remember it for a long time.

Lightning was surprised at the tears, and the funny comment that came along with them. She snickered slightly, taking a small step towards Riku. "I didn't. And so I don't in the future, let me get it out of my system now," she suggested lowly. She briefly played with the hair on the back of his neck before she moved in for another kiss, her eyes shutting with the action.

Riku's smirk remained, at least until his lips met Lightning's. His eyes closed, the moisture locked tight. He wasn't getting tearful just because he was ashamed of himself; he regretted leaving Lightning alone. He should have stayed with her... Riku wrapped his arms around Lightning's lower back, accepting her kiss with pleasure.

Once the kiss was finished, Lightning began to play with the hair on Riku's neck again. She had to admit that it was one of her favorite things to do, mostly because it seemed to give Riku chills. A sadistic part of her liked seeing him when he was unnerved because of her, but at the same time, she meant no harm by her actions.

Riku released a soft breath as he rested his forehead against Lightning's, her motion causing chills to run down his neck and along his spine and arms. "...I love you," he said again. He loved her very much. He wouldn't ever let her go again.

Light kept her eyes shut, her fingers dancing over the back of Riku's neck. "I love you too," she said in the same tone. She told him that before, but it was worthy of repeating a hundred times. No, she wished that she could say those words to him every moment for the rest of her life, but if she did that, she'd lose her voice. She supposed her actions would have to speak louder than those words.

Riku smiled slightly and let the silence set in, Lightning's words ringing in his ears. They weren't pleas or cries this time; instead they were declarations of love. That was a good replacement. He would do as Lightning wanted, when she talked to Serah. Everything Lightning wanted, she would get from him. He was completely and totally devoted to her now. It would always be that way.

Several hours later, night had fallen on Kain's world. Lightning had not yet returned, but he knew that she would come, and probably with Riku as an escort since he discouraged her from travelling through dark portals. Surely enough, he saw a portal appear in the sky and a vehicle descend to several feet in front of him. "You're late," he called lowly to Lightning.

"Sorry," Lightning apologized, climbing off the bike with her bag. "We had some distractions." First they arrived in Cocoon and her family ambushed her, then the same thing on the Islands, and then she and Riku spent some alone time at his home (with Jasmine) since they wouldn't be alone for a while, even if they were staying together now.

Riku dismissed his armor, his duffel still in his grasp. The strap stretched from one shoulder across his chest to ensure it wouldn't fall off during flight. He climbed off the glider and dismissed it as well, stepping up to be next to Lightning. He heard her apologize, reminded of the last few hours. They had been busy.

"You packed more than I expected you would," Kain stated, looking at her bag and the one that Riku held. He assumed that they were both for Lightning, because he had no clue about the surprise that they were going to throw at him. He meant his remark to be teasing, because Lightning wasn't the materialistic type, but she just looked over at Riku and waited for him to speak.

Riku met Lightning's gaze, and he returned his eyes to Kain. "Actually, I decided to tag along," he replied lowly. He knew staying was difficult for Lightning because she wanted to be home, and Riku figured that he could be that part of home while she was here. And he didn't want to be apart from her.

Kain's eyes widened briefly and then narrowed. This was a turn of events that wasn't going to work out. "That won't work for the plan," he said lowly, mostly speaking to Lightning. "In order for the members of this castle to be unaware that you are here to spy, you must act as if we're..." He trailed off, searching her eyes. Did she understand? They had to act like a couple.
