Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

The brother who danced with the prisoner, Stefan, only crossed his arms outside the cell. "Apparently the Heartless weren't a good enough hint for you," he stated. "Too bad someone saved you." They would have gotten rid of her for good if somebody didn't pull her out from the Darkness. That Keyblade Master from another world. Mask or not, it was easy to pick him out in the crowd; his Darkness gave him away.

Riku found himself in a secret passageway, eyes set forward as he traveled through the darkness. His heart was beating rapidly within his chest as panic rushed through him, fear the source. Lightning was no longer in the ballroom, and he wasn't sure why. But he had a feeling it had something to do with the Darkness he sensed, which was getting stronger with every step. He wasn't sure what was going on, but he may have found the person responsible for the Heartless invasion, whoever it was.

"We won't have anyone saving you tonight," the brother, Caleb, added. "Even if he was hiding among the guests, he won't find you here."

Lightning's fists curled in front of her, digesting the implication that they knew who Riku was. But they didn't know who she was apparently. Even if they did put her in a pair of handcuffs while she was unable to fully move, she was fully confident in her abilities. "Why don't you come here and find out how much saving I need tonight," she said, lifting a finger and prompting them to come at her. Even in handcuffs, a big dress, and heels, she could take the two of them out.

Stefan only chuckled darkly before approaching the woman. He pulled the knife out of his pocket and moved to put it to the woman's throat, doing it quickly and skillfully. As if she could do much when she was chained up! She was nothing without that sword of hers.

"Nice knife," Lightning commented nonchalantly, not feeling threatened at all. She pulled up her arms quickly, the chain of her handcuffs catching the weapon between Stefan's hand and between the tip. She pulled her neck back and swung the knife away from herself, twisting it with solely her handcuffs so it went flying into the wall.

Stefan's eyes darted to the wall, where his knife was stuck in the stone. "Caleb," he called, "grab more cuffs." They were going to restrain her more if she couldn't behave. But then again, she didn't have much choice; she was going to suffer.

"You're funny," Light smirked. She attempted to attack Stefan himself, but then she felt a familiar spell put on her. The temporary paralysis spell. She grunted faintly, watching as Caleb came close and changed her cuffs. Instead of wearing simple handcuffs, he chained her to the wall. Fortunately, she was still able to stand on her own two feet, but now her arms were stuck above her head. When the spell released, she was able to breathe normally, though she panted a breath in anger and frustration. She should have just gone for the brother the first time around and not played with the knife.

Riku was unaware of what was happening in the dungeon, but he did realize that was where he was headed. His adrenaline kicked in around that time, and he found himself hurrying down the hidden passageways. When he found himself near the dungeon, he heard voices; people were taunting Lightning. He frowned, fighting the urge to run in there and protect her, but...why couldn't she have handled herself? What was going on?

"Paralysis spells are for cowards," Lightning spat at her captors. She briefly tugged at her arms, but she quickly realized that she was bound fairly well. It may have been a quick movement to put her in, but she was trapped pretty sufficiently.

"Shut your mouth," Caleb snickered. "Or better yet, let me shut it for you. You definitely don't need your tongue anymore." He yanked the knife out of the wall and came at her again, confident that she couldn't do anything to him.

Lightning rolled her eyes. So both the brothers were idiots. When Caleb was close enough, Lightning allowed her shackled wrists to bear all of her weight as she quickly kicked her feet up off the ground. She wrapped a leg around Caleb's arm and twisted it, forcing him to loosen his grip on the knife long enough for her to use her other foot to knock it to the ground.

"Clearly we underestimated her."

Duh, Riku thought with a frown. He could hear the commotion from where he was, and once the coast was clear, he would sneak in and see what was going on. Lightning was obviously holding her own, but...what else were these guys going to do? Who were they?

Caleb sensed another presence other than the three of them. It was in the walls... "Would the young man in the wall please come out before we kill the girl?" he sighed, looking to the place Riku was hidden. He knew the castle well, and he knew that Riku could do exactly what he asked. "She may look capable of defending herself now, but we can quickly remedy that with another paralysis spell." They'd kill her quick if Riku didn't come out.

Riku closed his eyes at the request, his jaw clenching as his fists tightened. Perfect, he thought. So much for spying. He opened the entrance to the secret passage and stepped out, coming into the light of the dungeon. His mask was still on, but he doubted that mattered now. His aquamarine eyes darted from the two men to the woman he loved, whose position had his stomach in knots. Lightning...

"Welcome to the real party, Keyblade wielder," Caleb smirked. Unfortunately for him, he was still standing too closely to Lightning. She kicked him roughly in the back of the head, the heel of her shoe impacting his spine. He grunted roughly and stumbled forward, rubbing the back of his neck as he stared at Riku. "You're just in time. Since none of our restraints are working, perhaps you should restrain her instead."

Riku's eyebrows furrowed, his eyes dancing between Caleb and Lightning. "Come again?" he asked lowly, on the defensive. What did he mean, restrain her? They expected Riku to keep Lightning still so they could do some damage? No way! Riku was never going to do that.

Caleb waved another paralysis spell on Lightning. "Release her," he said to his brother before turning his attention to Riku. "We were going to torture her for a bit, but this works much better. Go in the cell. Use your power to restrain her or we'll paralyze her long enough for her lungs to stop functioning. It's up to you."

"What?" Riku grunted without thought, alarm in his voice now. So these guys weren't kidding? He watched as Stefan began to undo Lightning's binds, but Riku was paralyzed, even without the spell. What did these two even want? And why did Riku have to restrain Lightning? Why was she even being paralyzed?

"In," Caleb ordered again, grabbing the back of Riku's shirt and practically shoving him into the cell with Lightning. "You see, Riku, we've had our eye on the guest of honor for quite some time. She may have stopped the Heartless, but tonight, she won't be doing anything. Use your powers of Darkness against her, or she dies."

Riku stumbled in against his will, surprised at Caleb's strength. He turned around to glare at him before his aquamarine eyes landed on Lightning. He was...scared. She wasn't immune to Darkness like he was; in fact, she was vulnerable to it. And these two...idiots wanted him to use his Darkness against her? That was worse than cruel, and worse than any nightmare Riku could dream up. "...No," he said in defiance, glaring at the two. He wouldn't do it. They could try and kill Lightning, but Riku would stop them. They couldn't keep up a paralysis spell if they were dead.

"Better hurry," Caleb recommended, squeezing a fist as if that somehow controlled the paralysis spell. From her new spot on the floor, Lightning grunted, grasping at her chest. "She'll be out of air in a few seconds. Would you rather have her hurt or dead?"

Riku's eyes sharpened in alarm, and he held a hand out to Caleb. "Alright, alright!" he said, frantic. "I'll do it!" He moved over to Lightning's side quickly and knelt down next to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. Let her go, he thought to one of the brothers. He'd do their bidding. Not willingly, but he'd do it to save Lightning.

While Caleb smirked and locked Riku and Lightning in the cell, she finally felt relief. Her lungs loosened and she finally was able to control her breathing again. She slowly and deliberately took in breaths, fighting the urge to cough since it wouldn't help anything. She was glad to be free of that spell, even if she did know what was coming next.

Riku lifted his hands to Lightning's face, gently beginning to take her mask off. He threw it aside once it was off her head, instead cupping the side of her head with one of his hands. I'm sorry...he silently apologized. He didn't want to do this. But if he didn't...they would kill her. But how far would they make Riku take this? Not to the point of death... Riku couldn't do that.

Lightning lifted one of her hands, gently removing Riku's mask as well. "It's alright," she assured him. "Can't be as bad as suffocating, right?" she said as lightly as she could. She looked over at the men outside and glared at them, seeing them looking both amused and impatient. They were despicable cowards, unwilling to dirty their own hands with torture. Now they were forcing Riku to do it instead...

Riku didn't find the joke funny, his eyes hard with fear and frustration. He couldn't do this... It wasn't alright. But how was he supposed to get out of this? Could he manipulate his Darkness enough to turn it on the two outside the cell? "Lightning, I--"

"Hurry up," Stefan ordered, kicking the cell to emphasize his point. They didn't have time for this. The party guests were surely noticing Lightning's absence. But would they find her? That was the real question.

"Sorry you have to pay the price for my weakness," Lightning said, briefly running a hand over Riku's cheek. "I was stupid and got my magic bound by them. I can't fight them like this..." They were outside the cell and she was inside with only her physical abilities to utilize. Since the conversation got off topic, her enemies decided it was time to act on their threat. She grunted again, barely having time to squeeze her eyes shut before she hardened her muscles and was frozen by the spell.

Riku's eyes narrowed at the spell again, though they had softened at Lightning's words. She blamed herself for this... He turned his head and glared at the two outside the cell. "Knock it off!" he bellowed, his voice echoing in the cell. "I'm working on it!" Unlike them, he wasn't a being of total Darkness; he had to work for the power. These two needed to have some patience, and they needed to quit hurting the one he loved.
