Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

"Kain!" Riku roared in both fear and anger. He had to do something! There was no time for this! Riku couldn't do anything; he couldn't put Lightning down or the Darkness would hurt her worse. Kain had to make a decision, and quickly!

Kain looked to Riku, pain, fury, and panic in his normally stoic eyes. "There's nothing I can do!" he cried to Riku. What  would Riku have him do: marry Evelyn? Kain wasn't going to sign up for that so lightly. He just didn't know what to do...He felt so trapped, between that one scream of Lightning's and the constant whimpering of Rosa.

Cecil grunted from his spot on the floor beside his love, whose whimpers had his heart a mess. "Me," he grunted lowly, pulling at his restraints behind his back. He failed yet again. "If you must kill anyone, kill me." I'm buying you time, Kain. Don't waste it.

Stefan lifted an eyebrow. "Well, well... His Majesty speaks. Where have your wonderful speeches been this entire time, Your Highness?" he mocked, kicking the King in the stomach and causing him to groan. "Why should we kill you? Highwind seems more concerned about your wife than you. Doesn't that bother you?"

"...No," Cecil gasped, glaring up at the man. "But if I get my hands free from their restraints, who's to say I won't kill you first?"

"Cecil, stop it," Kain growled. "Whatever your planning, stop it! I can't..." He normally was so calm and able to think under pressure, but hearing his loved ones cry out in such agony for his sake was enough to ruin his battle-wise mind.

"Our favorite knight is at a loss for words," Caleb said in amusement. He looked over his shoulder at his brother, an idea hatching in his mind. "Why don't we give him more time to form a coherent sentence?" In other words, he wanted this room to remain a prison of Darkness until he came to a decision.

Stefan smiled darkly. "Fine by me," he agreed. He released Rosa's heart from his clutches, hearing her gasp in relief. His hands then began to swarm with Darkness as he followed his brother's idea. It was time to summon the beasts to the party.

"We'll give you a few hours," Caleb said, starting towards the doorway to accompany his brother out. He released Lightning's heart, which made her breath a sigh of relief as she clung to the man holding her. What nerve Kain had, bringing another Keyblade wielder into this castle to spy on them. Tonight, he would pay for his actions.

Riku was about to voice the question of where they were going, but the two brothers were gone. Instead, they were left with Darkness surrounding them on all sides. Everything was covered. "...What were they talk--" He stopped when Heartless began to form from the walls and the floor, and his breath caught in his throat. So that was what they meant. Heartless!

When Rosa called out to Kain, he ran over to both his friends on the ground. He cut the ropes binding their hands with the tip of his Keyblade, his eyes full of sorrow. "I'm sorry..."

Lightning was still recovering from the heart-grasp, but she saw the threats surrounding them. This wasn't just mere Darkness. Heartless were spawning from it. "Down," she grunted to Riku. He had to put her down, so he at least could fight. She hoped to join him momentarily...

Riku glanced at Lightning, but he didn't question her. He did as she said and put her down, just in time to summon his Keyblade and fend off a charging Heartless. He slashed at it with a cry and found another shortly following it. Riku knew how the Realm of Darkness worked. If the Darkness remained, the Heartless would keep spawning. Were they supposed to fight the Heartless until Stefan and Caleb decided they'd had enough?!

Lightning slowly rose to her feet, summoning a sword to her hand. Her knees were unsteady and her breathing ragged before the fighting even began. But she knew that she had to fight. There were people here worth protecting. "Kain!" she called to him. For once in his life, he looked at her with eyes full of panic. Hers, however, were composed. "We're with you." Whatever happens, we're fighting with and for you.

Riku casted Kain a brief glance, considering that was all he had time for. Another Heartless jumped at him and he was forced to roll out of the way. He quickly retaliated and sent the Heartless to oblivion, one heart rising toward the ceiling and disappearing. This would go on for a while, he was sure, but he only had a few potions on him in case of an emergency. Once those ran out and his magic expired, then what?

"Riku." Lightning backed up in his direction, holding the sword in front of her with both hands. "We solved the case. As soon as they're dead, we're going home." Their work here would be done. So, what she was saying was, they were going to survive this battle. They would make it home.

Riku found his back against Lightning's after she said the words, relief present in his heart alongside the alarm and anger. "...Right," he said, at a loss for words. He'd finally be able to go back home... That was such great news, but it almost cost him. He lifted his blade and with a grunt reflected a Heartless attack. Then he returned to battle, slashing at the monsters before him. He was going to go home after this...with Lightning. He had to survive.

Lightning charged ahead of her, silently vowing that she would protect Riku's back while he was protecting hers. Kain, Cecil, and Rosa were a well-functioning team as well with Kain and Cecil on the offensive and Rosa on the defense. But with this much Darkness in the room, she didn't know how much longer she and Rosa could last.

It felt like hours had passed, and Riku was sure that was about right. For how tired he was, it might as well have been that long. He was tired, sweating, and growing weaker with every swing of his Keyblade. He defeated one Heartless only to have to dodge another. He grunted in disgust and aggravation. "There's too many of them!" he cried in annoyance. Rosa and Lightning weren't doing well because of their vulnerability; the rest of them weren't much better. This had to stop.

Lightning looked around at Riku's comment, only having a second to breathe. "I'm going to clear the field!" she yelled to whoever was listening. She had been honing in on her magic skills while she was here--specifically, her ability to manipulate time. Time is going to be on my side. She'd defeat everything in the room, even if it was on her own, and hopefully that would help everyone else.

Riku's eyes widened at the cry, but there was nothing he could do to stop Lightning at the moment. He grunted in pain, holding his side as he looked up at the Heartless that swiped at him. He brought up his Keyblade to deflect the attack that was coming, prepared for the blow.

"Lightning, don't do it!" Kain cried, turning around to face her. But when he looked, she was gone. And so were all the heartless that had been surrounding them. He grunted and looked around frantically for her before his eyes finally rested on her. She was down to one knee closer to one of the walls, her sword stabbed into the ground in front of her. Without even a second passing for the rest of them, she already took out all the enemies, and she had the wounds to prove it.

Riku had been prepared to deal with a Heartless attack, but when nothing happened and Kain's cry echoed over silence, he lowered his blade. He turned his head and found Lightning wounded, which instantly sent his heart racing. "Light," he grunted, moving to her side quickly, but just before he could reach her, tendrils of Darkness grabbed his arms and jerked him to a stop. "What?" he hissed, confused. He looked at the black ropes around his arms before he was suddenly yanked off his feet and against the nearest wall. Riku winced when the back of his head pounded against the wall, his body suspended in the air. What was going on?

Lightning looked to Riku in alarm, also hearing a grunt from Kain. The two of them were being attacked by the Darkness, and so were Cecil and Rosa. She turned her head sharply towards the door when it suddenly reappeared and opened, two villains walking through oh so casually. She rose to her feet and charged at them with a battle-cry, though her arms were caught by the tendrils as well. Her breath caught in her throat as she was yanked back and up, her forearms and wrists tangled in dark tendrils as she hung a few inches off the ground.

Riku pulled away from the wall, or at least tried. He ground his teeth together and squeezed his eyes shut with the effort, but it was no use. "...This is ridiculous," he muttered with annoyance. He was so sick of the traps! Why wouldn't the brothers just give up already?

"You've survived a few hours in the room," Caleb said, sauntering into the room with his brother. "Congratulations. How's everyone fairing?" He looked around at all the hostages, seeing Cecil furiously struggle against his bindings. Rosa was weakened severely, Kain worried, Riku strong and fighting, and Lightning was weak but still glaring at him.

"A little too well for several hours," Stefan answered for the warriors. Rosa was the only one truly weakened. The others were still strong enough to hold their own. That simply would not do.

"Why don't you quit?!" Riku hollered in outrage. "You're not getting your way! Just give up already!" These two weren't going to have their sister marrying Kain. It was just that simple. Why couldn't they let it go?

"Oh, I think we still have some tricks up our sleeves," Caleb smirked. Since Lightning was the one engaged to Kain, it was natural that he go for her. He summoned Darkness to his hands and placed them against either side of Lightning's head, the position reminiscent of what happened just the other day. If he stayed like this, Lightning's memories would be wiped yet again.

Riku's eyes widened in fear. "No!" he hollered. "No, stop!" He wrestled with his bindings, but he still couldn't break free. Well, if he couldn't get away, then he would resort to another tactic. Riku opened his palms and summoned his Dark powers to the surface, sending blue fireballs at Caleb in hopes of getting him away from Lightning.

Stefan's eyes widened in surprise. "Brother!" he cried in alarm. That wretched Master! He would pay for his actions!
