A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Riku wrapped his arms around Lightning as he supported her, eyes darting from her to the room. It was a mess. Sleeping in here was out of the question. "...We should get some rest," he suggested softly. If they were leaving soon, they needed the energy to do so.

Light nodded faintly in agreement, leaning into Riku more now that he had his arms completely around her. She felt like apologizing for always becoming so weak after encountering Darkness, but it wasn't something that she could help, so she knew Riku didn't blame her for this. She just wanted to sleep off this weariness. 

Riku lowered his head slightly and placed a kiss to Lightning's pink hair, holding the position for a moment before he decided it was time to leave. Cecil and Rosa were speaking with Kain, so while they were busy, Riku decided it was best he and Lightning slipped out of the room and gave them privacy. There was a lot of history between the three that Riku didn't understand, nor did he want to. Right now, he just wanted to get Lightning somewhere comfortable.

When Riku started leading her out of the room,  Lightning didn't argue. She walked by his side, one arm around his lower back while her other hand rested on his stomach. It was hard to walk next to him when the passageways were so thin, and when she was so tired she could hardly walk a straight line, but she did the best she could.

Riku returned to the room he and Lightning had stayed in the past week or so, deciding it best to return to that room since only specific servants could come to his aid. Not that he needed them, especially when he was going home soon. Regardless, Riku walked Lightning over to the bed and silently helped her sit down before he closed the passageway entrance.

Light curled her fingers around the bedding, dipping her head in silence as her eyes fell shut. She had promised Riku tonight would be the only night with Kain, and it turned out she was able to keep that promise. She was just glad that this mess was sorted out. Kain no longer needed to worry about men summoning Heartless to the castle again.

Riku closed the wardrobe and made his way back to Lightning in the darkness, the moonlight only providing a bit of illumination in the room. He went to the bathroom attached and grabbed a rag, dampening it so he could wipe the blood from her arms. And that was exactly what he did, sitting beside her and silently taking her hand to rid the blood from her skin.

Light opened her eyes and looked over at Riku, seeing the moonlight reflect off his aqua eyes. He was focused on cleaning her up--focused on erasing all the bad things that happened in that room. While she allowed him to hold onto the sore arm that he was cleaning, she silently leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Riku couldn't help but smile slightly at the show of affection, wordlessly continuing his work. He had a feeling he'd be receiving a lot more of those at home, wherever that was at the end of all this. He had a feeling it would be the Islands, but that was only going to be agreed upon if Lightning was sure she was happy with that decision. If she made that decision.

Light continued planting kisses on Riku's cheek, working her way down to his neck. She couldn't help but smirk at how sometimes his work faltered when she gave him a kiss. And although she appreciated him cleaning up the mess, she enjoyed messing with him, especially when it was in a scenario like this where she was giving him affection.

Riku blinked when the kissing traveled to his neck, a place he hadn't received a kiss for quite a long time. He closed his eyes at the feeling, no longer moving his hands. "...I'm never going to finish if you keep this up," he said, amusement in his tone. He hadn't received this much of Lightning's affection for weeks. It was strange, but he liked it all the same.

"Hm," Lightning hummed, amusement behind her tone as well. She planted one more kiss before she withdrew, reaching for the rag in Riku's hand while he was distracted. "I wondered how much longer you would last," she said, beginning to clean herself up so Riku could have a break.

"You know I can't last long with things like that," Riku said, glancing over at Lightning before his eyes fell on his blood-stained hands. His cheeks burned from the affection, but he would never admit to it. He was too stubborn and prideful for things like that. Riku never blushed, until Lightning at least.

"Nope, you can't," Light agreed with a smirk, finishing up her second arm before she looked to Riku's hands. She reached out and grabbed one of them, gently beginning to wipe him off. She figured they'd both wash their hands after this and get off whatever blood the washcloth couldn't get, but she wanted to wipe his hands a bit anyway.

Riku's smile turned into a smirk as he looked at Lightning in the darkness. "...You played me," he said, impressed. He usually caught on to things like that, but with Lightning everything was different. It always was. He doubted that would ever change.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Lightning said innocently, switching to Riku's other hand. In all seriousness, she didn't completely understand what Riku meant. If he was referring to the fact that she kissed him to see how long he lasted, then yes, she was messing with him.

Riku simply "hmphed" at the response, lowering his eyes to the rag being wiped over his skin. He assumed that once they were done here, they would sleep. And once they woke up, they would return to Cocoon or the Islands. Riku figured it would be Cocoon, since Serah would probably want to see Lightning now that her time in the castle was up.

Lightning finished her task, grasping the washcloth in her hands. Not everything was cleaned up on either of them, but it was a lot better than it was before. She gritted her teeth and slowly rose to her feet, off balance at first because of the hours spent in Darkness. 

Riku rose to his feet instantly and grabbed onto Lightning's shoulders to help steady her. He gazed at her with soft eyes, concerned for her health. But he knew what she was doing; washing off the Darkness and blood was a way to rid themselves of the night. They would have to do that before they could sleep.

Light lifted her free hand and gripped Riku's shirt tightly, though his hands on her shoulders helped her stay steady on her feet. "Sorry," she muttered, catching a glimpse of his worried eyes. Even though she couldn't help how she felt, she was sorry to worry him with her weakness.

Riku lifted a hand from Lightning's shoulder to her head, running his thumb over her hair. "Sit down. I'll get a bath ready for you, okay?" he offered gently. She obviously couldn't stand long, so a shower was out of the question. He would get the water running so she could relax in the bath. It was her only other choice for cleaning the dirty and grime from her skin.

"I might fall asleep in the bath," Lightning warned Riku, looking over at him. The warmth would lull her to sleep for sure. As much as she wanted to be completely cleaned up, she figured she should just run a little water over her arms and get off what she could. 

Riku smiled weakly at the words, finding the idea sweet despite the circumstances. "Your choice," he told Lightning softly. She could do what she wanted. As long as she didn't collapse, he was fine with what she chose.

Light looked down at her arms once more, sighing. "Bath it is," she decided quietly. She wanted to get all of this off, and getting clean really would be nice. She'd just need to make sure that she stayed awake. Falling sleeping in the bathtub wasn't a smart move.

Riku nodded slightly and tucked some of Lightning's hair behind her ear. "Be right back," he said, taking the dirty rag from her hands before heading towards the bathroom. He would get her bath set and she could relax. Once she was finished, Riku would make washing up quick so they could sleep and go home sooner rather than later.
