Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light remained on her feet by pure stubbornness, walking over to the wardrobe and pulling out new pajamas while Riku was setting up the bath. As comfortable as these clothes were, she felt sticky and dirty in them. Getting back into them after a bath would defeat the purpose of cleaning up.

Riku had Lightning's bath set in no time, and luckily she didn't fall asleep once she was in. As soon as she finished, Riku took a quick shower before climbing into bed beside her. It was late, and seeing how things had gone, it was time they rested in peace. He got under the covers beside her and sighed at the comfort. He was clean, comfortable, and alive. The last one was the best.

Lightning crawled up to Riku's side--a sharp contrast to her avoiding Kain's touch when she was in his bed. And that was even without Kain in the actual bed. She wrapped an arm over his stomach and snuggled her wet head against his skin, her eyes falling shut as she felt comfortable in every way possible.

Riku wrapped his arm around Lightning's shoulders, though that hand moved some of her wet hair out of her face. "...I missed this," he said softly, watching his fingertips move through her hair. While he was gone, he missed sleeping with her. He hated sleeping alone now; it wasn't right.

Light smiled faintly, misinterpreting Riku's comment. "I was only gone half the night," she commented quietly. She had been in this bed with him the previous night, the one before that, and the one before that. But even if that was the case--even if she missed out on only a few hours of being in Riku's arms--she missed it too.

Riku released a small chuckle. "Not exactly what I meant," he said, smiling faintly. He could see what Lightning was getting at, and while he did miss it tonight, he missed it while she was here and he was on the Islands. It wasn't the same without her there. It never was.

Claire understood after a few moments. She hummed, briefly giving Riku a squeeze with the arm that was over him. "Well you won't have to miss me anymore," she told him quietly, her mumbled words showing drowsiness. Her words still rang true though: she was coming home, and home was wherever Riku was.

Riku closed his eyes at the words, his smile remaining. "Didn't plan to," he said quietly. Lightning should have known by his response that he didn't plan on missing her either. He was staying with her, and he hoped she preferred it that way. She was stuck with him no matter what.

Light hummed, briefly running her hand over Riku's chest. She couldn't easily reach his neck from her position, so she settled for giving him a kiss on the side of his chest. After that kiss, though, her hand remained still. Now her energy was seriously running low. It was time to rest up so they could go home when they woke up.

Riku relaxed at the gentle touch and kiss, releasing a breath. "...Goodnight, Claire," he said softly. It was time they rested up and prepared to leave the castle. This life of luxury had its perks, but it wasn't for either of them. They were better off taking care of themselves.

A few nights later

Everything may have been getting back to normal in everyone's lives now, but tonight was anything but normal. It was Halloween night, and for the first time, Destiny Islands was having a huge party in the town square. Though Sora was usually late, he was early tonight compared to everyone else. Kairi and Namine were getting ready together, Roxas texted and said he was wrapping up a video game at his place before coming, and Sora hardly knew anything about Lightning and Riku these days. He leaned against the wall, dressed in a pirate costume as he waited for his friends to arrive.

Roxas walked across the square with his brown boots, a part of his costume for the night. He was a video game character, one he actually played as less than an hour ago. He had on a green hat and tunic, as well as belts and arm guards. A shield was on one of his arms, a sword in the other hand. He spotted someone dressed as a pirate leaning against the wall, and he had a feeling it was his brother. He snuck up beside him, sliding against the wall before pointed his (plastic) sword at him. "Don't move a muscle!"

Sora withdrew his own fake sword, jumping away and tapping it against that of his brother. "Argh! You don't just go picking a fight with a pirate, ya silly landluber!" he cried in his best pirate voice. He smirked at Roxas, inspecting his outfit. He had to admit that he really did look like Link.

Roxas fought to keep a straight face, but he just couldn't. He lowered his sword and laughed at the exchange between him and Sora, who looked...great as a pirate, actually. "Captain Jack?" he asked once he calmed himself, sheathing his sword for the moment. Everyone knew how much Sora loved pirates, so meeting Jack was one of the highlights of his past adventures. Surely the pirate influenced the costume.

"He might have rubbed off on me a bit," Sora said with a guilty smirk. He put his sword back where it came from, though he motioned with his other hand to Roxas as he did so. "What about you? This is because that Zelda game came out a week ago, isn't it?" Roxas wouldn't plan too far ahead for Halloween, so he assumed the video game gave him some last-minute inspiration.

Roxas grinned sheepishly. "...I guess," he said, scratching his cheek. "Any idea what the girls are gonna be?" Or when they would be here, actually. Everyone was arriving separately, probably to see if anyone could spot them out. Roxas doubted he could mistake someone else for Naminé, that was for sure. He'd find her.

  • Author

"As if," Sora laughed. "Kairi wouldn't even keep her costume in our apartment." She was really big on keeping it a secret, and she also insisted that Sora didn't tell her what he was dressing up as. It was weird how obsessed girls were with surprises, but hey, whatever made them happy made him happy.

Roxas smirked slightly. "Naminé wouldn't tell me anything either," he said, looking out to the people that were gathering in the square. It was getting busier by the minute. "I don't even know where to start with Riku and Lightning." They could come as anything, or nothing at all. But Roxas was pretty sure Riku was into Halloween, as surprising as that was.

"I searched all the closets in the apartment before Kairi told me her costume was at Namine's," Sora smirked. "We should have gone over there and looked for their costumes together."

"That would have been rude," Namine said, suddenly appearing next to Sora. He jumped out of his skin and turned to face her, his expression reflecting his guilt. "You guys always throw surprises on us, so we wanted to return the favor." This was a good surprise too; she was proud of her Greek goddess costume. It was a simple dress, but the green leaves around her head really completed the look.

Roxas's eyes were wide, and he nearly dropped his shield at how great Naminé looked. "N-Naminé..." he said, at a loss for words. He could already tell what she was: a Greek goddess. And she was definitely a goddess.

"And Kairi," the redhead chirped at Roxas's side. He jumped out of his stupor and looked at her, seeing her costume. Because of her hair color, one of the most creative (and silly) things she could think to become for tonight was a strawberry. She had a hairpiece that consisted of green leaves pinned to her red hair, while she wore a slim red dress that ended just above the knee. Her dress had small dots on it to help complete the look, and make it more obvious.

Sora burst out in laughter, taking a step over to his wife. "Love it, babe," he said, giving her a brief kiss on the lips. Seriously, it was not only a creative outfit, but Kairi looked naturally gorgeous in it. He took a small step back so he could see it better, eyeing over the whole outfit. "You look beautiful."

Kairi fought a blush, her eyes traveling over Sora's form. "...Thank you, Captain," she said with a smile. "I suppose I'm your matey for the night?" The puns were ridiculous, but it was fun nonetheless. She should have expected Sora to dress up as a pirate; she saw the eye patch earlier this week.

"The pirate and the strawberry," Sora smirked. "I guess it could work. After all, Link's paired up with a Greek goddess. Anything goes tonight." And even if pirates and strawberries didn't go together, he and Kairi did. That was good enough for him.

Kairi smiled a little more in amusement, stepping over to wrap her arm around Sora's lower back. She then looked toward Roxas, who was still staring at Naminé like a deer caught in headlights. "Link, Roxas? Does that have something to do with your new video game?" she called, snapping him once again out of his stupor.

"Oh, y-yeah," Roxas said, fixing the hat on top of his head. "Last-minute thing." Then again, given how detailed it was, he doubted anyone would buy that excuse. But it was true; the internet was a great thing.

"Well it turned out great," Namine said sweetly, setting a hand on Roxas's chest before she gave him a peck on the cheek. She was acquainted with the series, since Roxas had been so excited about it lately. And she had to admit, the video game was surprisingly fun to watch.
