Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Roxas blinked at the kiss, then turning his head to see the goddess beside him. "...A Greek goddess," he declared softly, looking Naminé over. "I was thinking an angel, but a goddess definitely fits." A goddess was a step up from an angel. Naminé would always be Roxas's forever, whether that was as an angel or a goddess, he didn't care.

Namine giggled lightly, a blush creeping into her cheeks. Roxas always managed to make her blush with his compliments, and tonight's extravagant ones were no exception to the rule. She was glad that he liked the outfit, and she was glad to be wearing a full-length dress, because the air was a bit cooler this time of month.

Roxas's smile remained as he looked at Naminé, lightly touching her face when he saw the blush. To not draw as much attention to it, he lowered his hand and looked to their friends. "Riku and Lightning are late," he said. "Wonder what's taking them so long."

"Probably each other," Kairi said, leaning against her husband's side. "Unless they're coming separately, then I'm not sure." Riku was usually prompt on everything, but she guessed there wasn't really a specific time they needed to be here. They just said to meet in the square around a specific time, not that being late would be too much of a problem.

Sora looked around for either Lightning or Riku, both of them easy to identify for different reasons. Riku was tall and stood out from most people, and Lightning had her pink hair. After a few moments, his eyes picked out the former. "There he is," he said, pointing in the direction he saw his best friend in an interesting costume.

Kairi followed Sora's lead and spotted Riku making his way toward them through the crowd. When he got closer, her eyes lit up in amusement. "Is he Prince Charming?" she asked, though she felt herself smiling. Oh my goodness... Riku! He would never have dressed up as a prince in the past!

Riku passed another group of people before he could see his friends clearly, as they could see him. He lifted a hand and rubbed the back of his neck as he approached, his costume drawing attention he knew Kairi would at least give him. It was white with a gold sash across his body and gold epaulets on his shoulders. A medal was pinned to the white shirt, though his pants and the belt over his jacket were a deep burgundy. He was probably out of his element on this one.

"Impressive," Sora smirked at his best friend. "You're Light's Prince Charming, eh?" He didn't know where Lightning was, but when she saw Riku, he knew that she was going to have a pleasant reaction. Riku really outdid himself this year, though he generally was a big fan of Halloween.

Riku looked from Sora to his outfit, smirking slightly. "Yeah," he said softly. He supposed it was pretty obvious. Lightning had called him charming multiple times in the past, so why not live up to the name? But then again, who was he kidding? He knew Lightning didn't favor princesses, but she deserved someone as good as a prince, which was what he was...at least for tonight.

Namine knew Lightning well enough to know that Lightning wasn't going to come to a Halloween party dressed as a princess, so she wouldn't complete Riku's outfit. Nevertheless, the two were going to look good together whenever she showed up. In all honesty, Namine was surprised that Lightning wasn't here yet--she was a punctual person like Riku was.

Kairi smiled up at Riku, already telling he was kind of uncomfortable. "Well, I think you look dashing," she said to soothe his worries. He smiled weakly, and she could have sworn he was blushing. But...Riku never blushed!

"Adorable," a certain pink-haired girl said as she suddenly appeared next to Riku. She wasn't the one Riku was waiting for, but she showed up nonetheless. Serah was spending more time with Lightning these days, so when her sister said that she was going to a Halloween party, Serah took it upon herself to invite herself and Snow. Serah was dressed as a cowgirl and Snow as a zombie. Lightning was something else entirely though.

Riku looked to his side, down at the youngest Farron. He smiled instantly at the sight of her. He should have figured she'd be here. He guessed Lightning forgot to mention that detail, especially with Snow here as well. When he noticed Snow's costume, he smirked. "One of the least intimidating zombies I've ever seen," he quipped jokingly.

Snow gaped. "Okay, Prince Charming," he said, punching Riku in the shoulder. As the young man rubbed the sore spot, Snow looked around. "Just you wait until I scare all these kids." He was a pretty good zombie, or so he thought. Serah liked it.

"You couldn't scare anyone," Lightning said, appearing on the other side of Snow and nudging him with an elbow roughly. Snow was a big lug, but he wasn't scary. The purpose of scaring kids was gone, and if he was looking for brains to eat... "And you won't find any brains to eat in this circle." She heard Sora pipe up with an offended "hey", but she just looked over at him and grinned, meanwhile putting a hand on her hip. Her costume was Serah's idea. It was simple and easy to put together. She wore a long-sleeved white shirt underneath a brown leather top, a red skirt, white leggings and shoes. The notable points of her outfit were the cat ears and the tail though, the latter of the two swaying with her movement.

Riku would have been offended by the jab, but he couldn't concentrate on words. In fact, all thought left his mind when he looked at Lightning. He was a prince and she was a cat. That was one of the weirdest couplings ever, but she looked...great. Riku felt Snow nudge him roughly when he stared too long and Riku quickly looked away, rubbing a hand over the back of his head. Don't stare.

"Oooo, Riku's blushingggg," Sora teased, voicing the thoughts of the entire circle. He couldn't help but make a jab at his best friend, considering how often Riku purposely embarrassed him in the past with Kairi. It was all in good fun though, and the beating Sora would receive for such a remark would also be done in good nature.

Kairi whacked her husband in the shoulder. "Sora!" she hissed in disapproval. While she knew it was in good nature and light teasing, Riku was going to kill him. And by the look on their best friend's face, her thoughts were correct.

"Sora, you little..." Riku started toward him, reaching out a hand to grab his friend by his shirt. But Snow pulled him back by his collar, his strength proving useful.

"Let's not get too rowdy, okay kids? Little ones are around, you know," Snow piped, taking his hand away when Riku yanked it away from his collar. Some kids knew who Riku and Sora were, even with the costumes. He expected the two to have pictures to sign eventually.

"A zombie just restrained Prince Charming before he could attack a pirate," Lightning mused, looking over to Serah and mostly speaking to her. "There's something you don't see every day." As Serah giggled at the joke, Light smirked just for the fun of it. This was the first lighthearted situation they had all been in for a long time; she was going to enjoy it.

Roxas looked around the town square, seeing how crowded it was becoming. There were a lot of people here tonight. A DJ was hired, so there was dancing and music involved in tonight's festivities. There was also a haunted house, bobbing for apples, and tons of candy. The candy was Roxas's favorite part, aside from the games. "So," he said, looking around the group. "Shall we?" He motioned toward the festival. It was time they had some fun, though the taunting was amusing in itself.

"Lead the way, Link," Namine teased, setting a hand on her fiance's arm. Even after being engaged for almost two months, it was weird to think of Roxas as her fiance and not just her boyfriend. It was a good weird though, just like it would be a good weird when she started to call him her husband.

Roxas smirked in good nature at the name, starting toward the candy. He was going to have a good night. If he and his friends got separated, he was sure they would meet up again. The town square wasn't too large.

Lightning noticed people going their own ways, but she hardly had time to give Riku a proper greeting yet, so she didn't bother trying to lead him to any other area. She stepped in front of him and straightened his coat a bit, which got a bit wrinkled with his reaction to Snow's punch. "So, Prince Charming, huh?"

Riku felt his cheeks heat up, and he tried to will the blush away as he avoided eye contact. "Uh, yeah..." he said lowly. "Not really my element." He usually went for something like an assassin or a knight, but he was already those things in certain aspects. So he tried a little something else.

Light set her hands on his upper arms, smiling when she saw his blushing face. "You could have come in street clothes and still have been Prince Charming," she said gently, not verbally taunting Riku for the blush like Sora did. That didn't mean she didn't appreciate the blush though; Riku was cute when he was caught off guard like this.

Riku's aquamarine eyes found Lightning at the words, ones he took as a compliment, though he was confused. It didn't really make much sense, but he supposed that was the point. He could have been himself and still been Prince Charming...right?

Light rolled her eyes in good humor at Riku's confused look. "I was right when I told Snow there weren't brains here," she mumbled. She looked up into Riku's eyes, a small smile on her lips. "I meant you're Prince Charming every day, goof." He should have known that by now.

Riku blinked at the jab, one he should have reacted to earlier, but he guessed his reaction didn't help his case. His eyes softened, however, at the declaration just after. So he was right, then. Lightning considered Riku her Prince Charming every day... "Thanks," he said lowly, smiling faintly. He appreciated that.
