A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"Thanks for calling you brainless?" Lightning taunted with a smirk. "My pleasure." Riku was seriously out of it though if he didn't understand what she was saying in the first place. But however out of whack he was, at least he was smiling. That was all she needed to see to know that he was alright and just lacking brainpower right now.

Riku rolled his eyes and lifted his hand to finger one of Lightning's ears. "I'm not a big fan of cats," he said lowly. "But for you I think I can make an exception." It was an interesting getup. He wouldn't have known what she was if it weren't for the ears and tail.

"Oh, you think you can make an exception for me?" Lightning said, emphasizing one word in particular that allowed her to taunt Riku. "Thanks for the definite reassurance." In all honesty though, Lightning was more of a dog person than anything else. It was Serah who forced her into the getup. 

"No problem," Riku said with the same smirk. He wasn't insulting Lightning by any means; just playing along. He lowered his hand from Lightning's ears to her face, tucking some of her hair back. "...You're beautiful," he added, more seriousness in his tone. He meant it too. Lightning looked great.

Lightning's smirk turned into a genuine smile with Riku's movements, words, and eyes. Even if they were taunting each other just a few seconds ago, she knew which words she could take to heart. "...Thanks," she said softly, remaining still so Riku's hand wouldn't have to move away from her face.

Riku's smile matched Lightning's, admiring her expression before a twinkle appeared in his eyes. "You're purr-fect," he said, rolling his tongue and creating the purring sound. It was a lame joke, but it should have been expected, especially from him.

Lightning burst into laughter, rolling her eyes at that completely stupid joke. She should have seen that joke coming from a mile away. She tried to think of her own witty comeback with either cats or Prince Charming, but... "...I really don't know how to follow that up."

Riku chuckled, leaning forward and kissing Lightning's forehead briefly. "Purr-fect," he said, this time of the situation. He wouldn't bother Lightning with the pun any longer. They had a festival to get to, even if he was completely content just like this.

"That pun's going to lose its charm really quickly," Lightning said aloud, finally making her own play on words. If they were going to spend the whole night like this--going back and forth with terrible puns--she would have been strangely okay with it. 

Riku laughed softly once more, lifting his arm and wrapping his around Lightning's shoulders. He leaned in and kissed her head of pink hair, one of her cat ears rubbing against his forehead briefly. When he pulled back, he led her toward the festival. The pun would lose its charm, but he was Prince Charming for the night; his charm would last at least tonight.

Over by the apple station, Sora was bobbing for an apple. Of course he was one of the ones goofy enough to get into it. When he successfully pulled out the last apple with his teeth, the crowd around him cheered. Apple still in his mouth, he turned and smirked proudly to his wife. See? Told ya I could do it. 

Kairi only shook her head in amusement, grabbing the apple that was still in her husband's mouth and taking a bite out of it herself. A few people laughed around her, admiring the couple's antics. The Keyblade Master and the Princess of Heart. They were one of the most popular couples in town, it seemed, not that she was surprised. But Kairi could do without all the attention sometimes.

"Hey!" Sora cried, eyes widening in fake horror when his wife stole the food right out of his mouth. It was even worse when she took a bite of it. His shoulder slumped in defeat, a pout appearing on his lips as he looked to Kairi. "That was my prize," he whined jokingly. 

Kairi stepped up beside her pirate, holding the apple out to him to take a bite. "What's mine is yours," she told him gently. That was part of the deal when they got married; everything from then on out was done together and owned by two. Not that it was a problem.

"Except it was my apple," Sora joked. He set a hand on his wife's shoulder, fighting the urge to set it in her hair like he often did. However, he doubted she would have appreciated him messing up her costume. "But I guess I can be nice and share what's mine with you." He was joking and being a pain, but Kairi was used to that. He leaned over and bit the apple while Kairi was still holding onto it, taking a big, juicy chunk out of it.

Kairi only smiled, watching her husband take a bite out of the apple. Her bite was pathetic compared to his, since her take on it was small. Oh well, it was Sora's apple first, like he said. She held it out for him to take, her smile remaining. "My turn," she said then. It was her time to bob for an apple.

Sora grinned, accepting his apple back. "A strawberry bobbing for apples. That's even stranger than a pirate doing it," he teased. If he would have brought his phone with him, he could have snapped pictures of Kairi bobbing for apples, but as it was, he'd just stand and fully enjoy the sight of his wife being goofy.

Kairi's smile only turned into a smirk at the words, and she approached the barrel that held all the apples. She clasped her hands behind her back, beginning to blush at the people who cheered her on, and leaned forward. She spotted the apple she wanted, the stem long enough for her to grab easily. She did so, picking the stem between her teeth and standing upright. Kairi turned to her husband and smiled at her job-well-done. There was no rule saying she had to grab the actual apple to win this game.

Sora chuckled and shook his head, stepping forward and gently snatching the apple from Kairi's grasp. "Cheater," he taunted lowly. He lifted the apple and held it above her head, grasping the stem where she bit. "Getting it this time won't be so easy." He didn't expect her to get it with her mouth, but she'd still have to work for it.

Kairi's eyes widened at the taunting, her sight darting from her husband to the apple. "Not fair!" she cried, reaching a hand up to try and grab the apple. She wasn't wearing heels tonight, so she didn't have any extra help. She didn't cheat! She got the apple fairly. She just didn't actually bite into the apple this time.

"If you really want an apple, you'll have to bob again and do it right," Sora teased, yanking the apple further away from Kairi's searching hand. "But maybe you can persuade me to give it back another way..." He winked at her, getting a chuckle out of the crowd that was still watching. He liked entertaining people so he didn't mind it that much.

Kairi glanced at the crowd, a blush heating her cheeks instantly after Sora's wink. She then looked to him and stepped forward, glad for the moment that no children were around. She took his face in her hands and kissed him tenderly, hearing a few people whistle at the exchange.

Sora shut his eyes at the warm kiss and Kairi's cold hands against his cheeks, the young man returning the kiss lightly. Now he was starting to feel himself blush. He hadn't expected Kairi to fully give in to his antics and kiss him like this; he expected a peck on the lips that he could taunt her more over. But this...

Kairi took advantage of Sora while he was distracted, continuing to kiss him as she silently reached over and plucked the apple from his grasp. His arm had lowered at her kiss, but now she felt herself preferring his lips over the treat. That, however, was when she heard an assortment of "eww"s. She pulled back from the kiss, turning her head to see a few little kids having come up to bob apples. Instead they saw her kissing her husband. She giggled softly, her hand slowly falling from Sora's face. Whoops.

Sora looked at Kairi, disappointed that she stepped away from the kiss. But he understood why she did when he glanced over at the kids. At the sight of their disgusted expressions, he had an idea. He dropped his half-eaten apple on the ground as he leaned down, suddenly wrapping an arm underneath Kairi's knees and another behind her shoulders as he hoisted her into his arms. "ARGH!" he cried in his best pirate voice. "I cames to bob for some o' these apple treasures and got a strawberry instead!"
