Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Kairi gasped in alarm when she was suddenly swept off her feet, but when she realized what Sora was doing, she fought a laugh. She looked to the kids to see them giggling as well. They at least recovered from their disgust at the kiss. Sora was good at lifting spirits; another reason why she loved him.

Sora knelt down in front of the kids, an easy task even with Kairi in his arms. "I need your help, lads and lasses," he said lowly to them, seeing them begin to gather around him as he spoke solely to them. "I only came for the apples, I don't know what to do with a strawberry! Argh mateys, what should I do!"

"Trade her in for an apple!" one kid cried.

"Kiss her again!" a little girl insisted.

"Eww, no! Don't do that!"

Kairi looked to her husband during all of this, wondering what he would do. The kids were still throwing out suggestions, and she found herself more than amused. And daydreaming. Sora was so good with kids... He would make a great father.

"Argh, too many decisions," Sora said in a scratchy pirate voice. If he had a free hand, he would have stroked his chin like pirates often did to their beards. "Should I make her...walk the plank?" He heard at least one young boy cheer, and he couldn't help but break character for a moment and grin. He really liked kids.

Sora's grin had Kairi distracted, but she heard more little boys cheer in favor of her walking the plank. "The plank? Oh no!" she cried, playing along. "Please, Captain, don't make me walk the plank!" Her eyes rested on the man she loved, holding out her apple that was still in her grasp. "Take this apple in exchange for my safety. Please, sir?" A few of the kids laughed at her offering, but that was the point. Although it was difficult for Kairi to keep from smiling.

"Argh..." Sora growled in fake disgust to Kairi. "Your apple has no appeal to me, lass. To the plank!" When the children cheered or whined their disapproval, Sora rose to his feet and looked around. There were obviously no planks nearby to use. "Argh, where's me plank!" he asked of the kids.

"We're not on a ship!" a little girl cried.

"We're not?!" Sora repeated as if that was the most profound thing he ever heard. "Curses! Me plans have been foiled! I suppose I must accept the lady's apple..." He began to set her down on the ground, gentle despite the rough demeanor he was putting on for the kids.

Kairi couldn't help but giggle as her feet touched the ground. She then held her apple out to Sora again. "Thank you, Captain," she said, still playing along with the charade. The kids seemed to be enjoying it, so why not? And their parents and the adults that lingered around the area to watch were liking it too.

Sora accepted the apple and cast Kairi a secret wink meant only for her. The charade was coming to a close, but he didn't mind so much. He focused back on the kids and gave them just a few more words. "You helped me solve me problems," he said to them. "Many thanks to ye. Now, go get yer treasure apples!" Reminded of why they originally came to the scene, the kids hurried to go bob for apples and left Sora alone with his maiden.

Kairi caught Sora's wink, which fluttered her heart. It always leapt when he did that. She looked from him to the kids as they rushed by her, smiling softly at their excitement. She loved kids greatly, which was one of the reasons she worked at the daycare. But to think that she could have her own someday... That would be great.

Sora returned to his wife, a cheesy smile of his own appearing as he dropped the pirate role. "All in all, that went better than I expected," he said, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. All he expected was to tease Kairi a bit, not put on a show for some of the kids.

Kairi turned her head to gaze at Sora, letting her arm wrap around his lower back. "Yeah. It did," she agreed, pecking him on the cheek before her eyes went to the kids again. She was happy to goof off for a bit, but that was the point. Halloween was supposed to be fun, and when she was with her friends, it always was.

When Kairi looked to the kids, Sora put on the persona of a pirate again. "I'm escortin ye to the house of the haunted now," he said, gently leading her in that direction. They had only experienced bobbing for apples so far, so it would be nice to go to another station in this Halloween festival.

Kairi walked with Sora, but only because she was in shock. The haunted house? "Oh, um..." She stopped where she was, releasing Sora as she stepped away. "I don't think I'll go." She wasn't a big fan of haunted houses. Sora and Riku dragged her through them when they were younger, and she never really enjoyed it. She simply did it for them, but...she wasn't so sure this year.

Sora looked around when Kairi protested his idea, seeing another duo just standing around. "We could go in with Riku and Lightning," he suggested. There was strength in numbers, and comfort too. Besides, this haunted house was open for the kids too; how scary could it have been?

Kairi followed Sora's gaze to her two friends, who were sitting by the fountain. Riku was chewing on a candy bar. Count on him to take candy tonight, she thought with a small smile. She wasn't too surprised though, considering it was Halloween. She just hoped he didn't take it from some little kid. But with Lightning there, Kairi doubted that was the case. As far as the haunted house went, Riku would be all for it. He would probably drag her in, if he had to, just like in the past.

"C'mon," Sora said, nudging Kairi with his arm before he started over towards Riku and Lightning. He knew that Kairi wasn't a big fan of haunted houses, but if the four of them went together, it was bound to be fun. And he would gladly hold her if she got scared of anything in there.

Riku took another bite of his candy bar, his eyes darting around the area. It was loud; music played from every corner, kids were screaming, and adults were rowdy. Halloween, at its best. Riku's eyes found Sora, and he glanced over at Lightning. "Here comes trouble," he murmured with a small smirk. Sora had a gleam in his eyes. Whatever he wanted to do, his wife looked hesitant.

Sora stopped in front of the couple, unaware of Riku's comment to Lightning. All he was aware of was that he wanted to drag Kairi into the haunted house, and he surely wouldn't be able to do it himself. "Hey," he said to the two. "Haunted house?" Riku should have been up for it, and Lightning should have as well since she was so fearless.

Riku glanced from Sora to Kairi, who was subtly shaking her head at him. She obviously wasn't up for this, just like Riku thought. "I'm up for it, but your wife doesn't look like she feels the same," he said, motioning to Kairi with a nod of his head. She scowled at him for pointing her out, but he just smiled crookedly in response. Kairi hated haunted houses, and they only got scarier every year. Kids these days were up for anything, if their parents let them do it. Haunted houses included.

"Which is why I figured I'd see if you could help me drag her in," Sora said with a slightly sheepish smirk. Kairi didn't like to be dragged into anything, so even though Sora planned on dragging  her into the haunted house, he planned on doing it with Riku so that he only got half the blame.

Riku looked from one best friend to the other, then rising to his feet. "Well, we've done it before," he said, gazing at Sora. But then his eyes moved to Kairi, who was digesting his words. "We can do it again."

"Riku!" Kairi whined, frowning. Her eyes were wide in fear, however, as she looked from her husband to her brother. Then she found her future sister-in-law, or so she liked to believe. "Lightning? Please?" Help me get out of this.

Light smirked slightly from her spot by the fountain. "Sorry, Kairi," she apologized. "I promised Riku I'd do anything he wanted me to do tonight." This was her first time at the Halloween festival, and since Riku knew this event a lot better than she did, he wanted to be in charge and show her all of his favorite things to do. Naturally the haunted house was on that list.

Riku smirked at Kairi as her expression fell. "Cheer up. It'll be fun," he said with a small shrug. "Get too scared, I'm sure Sora will take care of it." Riku looked pointedly at Sora then, aware that his friend should have known where he was going with this. Sora could get romance out of this if he tried.

"That's right!" Sora said, bumping his chest with his fist as he stood up taller and stronger. "Anybody who crosses any lines will have to answer to me." Of course he didn't suspect that anything would go wrong; it was an innocent haunted house, and he'd be right there by Kairi's side the whole time.

"You mean, 'walk the plank,'" Riku corrected, flicking Sora in the forehead. Now that the drama with Kain was over, Riku was back to his old self again; he could finally get pack to picking on Sora. That was always fun.
