Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Sora played along, though he did lift a hand to rub his forehead. "Argh," he agreed halfheartedly. "Although that wasn't a very charming thing for you to do." He smirked at his taller best friend, proud of his pun even if it wasn't the most impressive thing anybody ever came up with. Well, at least he found it amusing.

Riku rolled his eyes at the pun toward his costume, knowing that he dressed as Prince Charming solely for Lightning. He turned to her then, offering his hands. "We should get going, before the line gets long," he said, speaking of the haunted house. He heard Kairi whine a bit in fear, but there was no way she was getting out of this one.

Light accepted Riku's hands with a smirk. "Need to hold my hands in the haunted house, Riku?" she taunted lightly, releasing one of the hands once she was on her feet. Riku was obviously enthusiastic about Halloween, so she was sure that he loved haunted houses as well. Besides, how scary could it be when he saw things in the dark so clearly?

Riku gave Lightning a look. "Very funny," he said lowly, starting to lead the way. Haunted houses were predictable, at least in his opinion. It helped that he could see in the dark now, so he doubted he would get too scared. It was Kairi Riku was worried about.

When they were entering the haunted house, Sora spoke softly to Kairi. "My hand or Riku's?" he asked her quietly, goofiness aside for the moment. He knew that she didn't want to be here and he was forcing her in. The least he could do was let her walk with who she was most comfortable with. He figured that she might have wanted to hold one of Riku's hands, since he could see almost perfectly in the dark.

Kairi looked over at Sora as they walked under a black light, though she reached for his hand. "I'll take both," she said weakly, grasping Sora's hand tightly as she took a quick step forward and found Riku's free hand. Sora was her protector, so she wanted him to be with her the entire time. But Riku could see in the dark, so...she would let him lead.

Sora smiled in amusement, giving Kairi's hand a gentle squeeze. "The original trio plus one," he said, referring to Lightning as she walked beside Riku without forcing him to hold one of her hands. "I think it's a good group." He felt like he expressed his like of Lightning on several occasions, but he knew Riku appreciated that he and Kairi approved of his relationship. The three of them were family, after all.

Riku had glanced over at Kairi when she grabbed his hand, a small smile forming at the action. But Sora's words only encouraged the smile to remain. They were a trio, as they had been for years now, and that plus one... Well, she would be a part of the family someday. Riku just had to do something about it.

Kairi would have smiled at the words, acknowledging them and accepting them easily into her heart, but right now it was beating rapidly from adrenaline and fear. She squeezed Riku and Sora's hands, walking behind Riku slightly since it was a narrower hallway. She didn't like this, and they were just now entering. These boys are lucky I love them...

Lightning didn't jump at all when somebody in all black jumped out on the path in front of her. She felt like patting him on the head when he looked defeated, some pity in her fearless heart. There, there, she wanted to say. Nothing in this haunted house is going to scare me. She wound up in front of Riku and everyone else somehow, but even then she wasn't scared.

Kairi squealed at the person who jumped out in front of Lightning, since he had screamed to try and scare her. Riku was proud it didn't work, since he wasn't scared either. Kairi, on the other hand, tugged at him and Sora when it happened, making Riku nearly lose his balance. Riku smirked as a white light flashed rapidly in the hall, continuing to pull the redhead along. He could see when things were about to happen, mostly because movement in the dark was easily detected by him. But he would tell Kairi only if she wanted him to.

Lightning listened to the groaning and the winds that came from hidden speakers, her eyes wandering around. Her vision was very limited in the dark, and she had to admit that this place was a bit eerie for young children--and for Kairi, apparently, who was squeezing Sora's hand so tightly that it was starting to turn white. She turned her head sharply to the left when she heard something, and sure enough, there was a bloodied scarecrow hiding in the dim light.

Riku saw Lightning stop, but he had already seen the scarecrow. "You alright, Kairi?" he called over his shoulder. She hadn't loosened her grip since they got in here, and it wasn't even that scary yet.

"Y-yeah, yeah, I'm fine," Kairi replied weakly, but that was when she saw the scarecrow as well. She jumped slightly, head turning sharply away as she squeezed her eyes shut. "Just fine."

Sora squeezed Kairi's hand lightly, though he could barely do a thing when she was holding his hand so tightly. As Lightning started on ahead again, he kept an eye on Kairi. She was reacting the way he expected, which was both good and bad. At least she wasn't crying in fear.

Riku heard the music suddenly turn off while they were walking, and then the lights followed. Kairi whimpered in fear, panic surely setting in for her as Riku stopped walking. By what Riku could see, they were near a dead end. Well, that isn't very-- Riku's thought stopped suddenly as he heard rushed footsteps from behind. He turned, and as he peered through the darkness, he saw something running at them. "Uh oh..."

Kairi heard Riku, and that was when she really began to panic. "Riku..." she said fearfully. What was wrong? That was when the lights turned on and she saw Riku looking behind them. Her head turned sharply to see that "uh oh" was right. A person dressed like a clown was chasing after them, and he had a knife in his hand! Creepy laughter escaped him as his boots beat against the floor, and Kairi screamed.

"Whoa," Sora exclaimed, eyeing the clown with the bloodied knife.  He had to admit that he hadn't seen this one coming. This house gets better and better every year, or worse, from Kairi's perspective. Maybe it was a mistake to drag her in after all.

"...That's disturbing," Riku commented lowly, eyebrows furrowing. He wasn't too into clown things; he hated them as a kid.

"I don't like this, guys," Kairi whimpered, taking a step back as the clown kept advancing. "What do we do?!" This guy had a knife! They had to run!

  • Author

"Guess we're supposed to run," Sora said, looking around. He noticed one of the walls keeping them boxed in wasn't a wall at all; it was a curtain that faintly moved in the breeze. "C'mon," he said, pulling Kairi along with him as he pushed past the black curtain and into a new secret area. Unfortunately that wasn't a much better place to be, considering there was fake blood and hand prints all over the walls.

Riku was happy to leave the clown behind, letting Lightning go ahead of him before he followed everyone into the next room. This area was lit up by a single ceiling light, which gave it the scary movie feel, and it helped to accentuate the blood on the walls. Kairi was glued to Sora's side, as expected.

"That's...extreme," Sora said, looking around for a moment before he started forward again. He didn't remember there being this much blood and gore last year. He guessed that kids these days were more equipped to face scary places like this. Personally he didn't mind it much, but Kairi obviously did.

The next room, which took a lot of effort for Kairi to get to considering her legs felt like jello, was full of nothing but darkness. And in that darkness, she saw yellow glowing eyes. "...Please don't tell me those are--" she started, but then a large Neoshadow jumped out of the darkness as a light came on, leaving Kairi shrieking in fear. She instinctively cowered and hid behind Sora during it, only to realize that the Heartless was automated. It's a fake... Those aren't real.

  • Author

Sora took a small step forward, unafraid of the Heartless for an obvious reason. "It's fake," he said, lifting a hand and flicking the figure casually. It looked a lot like a Heartless, but it wasn't the real thing. Seeing it here, though, reminded him of Jack Skellington and how he tried to manipulate real Heartless for his Halloween. Obviously it didn't go well.

Riku walked along, not about to admit that he had been alarmed when the Neoshadow look-a-like popped out. He continued forward, triggering another Heartless to jump out. Kairi jumped and squealed in terror, and he knew that she was about at her limit. He looked back at her and could see it in her eyes. Here's hoping she doesn't cry. Riku would feel bad if that happened.

Thankfully they were drawing near to the end of the haunted house; Kairi probably couldn't handle any more scaring. Lightning didn't really mind the house that much; she was never afraid, only startled by the first appearance of the fake Heartless. The rest of this place wasn't scary for somebody like her.

The next room was dim, and it looked a lot like a graveyard. There were fake zombies spread all around, hands coming out of the ground. It was amateur, but Riku spotted something in the darkness that no one else could: Snow. The man who was dressed as a zombie for tonight was hiding in the props, and Riku had a clue as to why. Riku smirked subtly as they continued forward, and also when he saw who caused Kairi to scream. There was someone on the floor in front of them, obviously covered in fake blood. Going by the costume, he knew who was playing along with Snow's crazy antics. Whatever they were doing, it was going to be good.

Lightning stopped dead in her tracks when she saw the figure lying in the middle of their path. At first, she didn't believe it. This was a haunted house; there were bound to be people lying around and covered in fake blood, but not who she thought she was seeing. But she blinked harshly and saw that the figure on the ground really was who she thought it was. Serah... she thought, confused but horrified as she took a small step back towards Riku. What...?
