Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Snow knew this was his chance. Lightning was caught off guard and vulnerable to his little game. Riku obviously saw him already, but that didn't ruin the plan at all. He leaped out of his spot, wrapping his arms around Lightning as he screamed, "Brains!" Kairi shrieked at the action, but she was already jumpy as it was.

Lightning let out an alarmed squeak when somebody grabbed her, the young woman caught off guard since she knew that people in haunted houses weren't actually allowed to touch you. And when she was lifted off the ground, she automatically grunted and struggled against the tight arms. More afraid than she should have been, she pulled one of her legs and then launched it backwards into the shin of the person who was holding her up, barely noticing Serah start getting up off the ground in front of her.

Snow grunted and released Lightning, stumbling as pain radiated through his leg. "Ow," he said, giving the woman a look. That hurt, Light. He knew she was on the defensive for a reason, but her little squeak.... Oh, it was great! Riku seemed to think so too, since he was having a hard time fighting laughter.

Lightning spun around and blinked when she saw who it was. Snow. Snow jumped out and got her while Serah played dead. It made sense now...and she didn't appreciate it at that very moment. She reached forward and grabbed a tethered piece of Snow's clothing, yanking him towards her as she sent him a vicious glare. But the only reason it was so vicious was that she was trying to cover the fact that he scared her. It was a shame it didn't work and her true emotions shone through.

Despite his pain, Snow found himself smiling when he saw what Lightning was doing. "Easy, easy!" he said, holding his hands up in surrender. "It was just a joke...and boy, did it scare you!" It was such a great idea! And it worked!

Light growled lowly under her breath. "You're not helping yourself here, Villiers," she said through her teeth. She couldn't lie and say she wasn't scared, because obviously she was. But she could at least let Snow and everyone else know that teasing her about her vulnerable moment was absolutely not an option.

Riku decided now would be a good time to step into this. He moved to be beside Lightning, placing a hand on the one she used to hold Snow's clothes. "Light, relax," he told her softly. He could tell she had been scared, and while he hated to ever see that, the fact that it was under light circumstances made the difference. It was okay.

"I'm fine," Lightning automatically said, lifting her free hand and moving Riku's off the one that held Snow's clothes. She gave his clothes one last yank before she released him, giving him a brief glare. "You'll regret this, brother," she warned Snow lowly. She was going to get him back before the end of the night, whether it was scaring him or doing something else to embarrass him. Even now she was aware of the red creeping into her cheeks, brought there by Riku's concern that she was overreacting.

Riku looked from Lightning to Snow, who seemed a bit scared this time around. When Lightning made threats, she meant them. Riku's eyes found Sora and Kairi, the latter of who was ready to leave the haunted house. They were in the last room; Riku could hear all the noise from the outside. "Let's go," he said, looking to Snow and Lightning before he started forward, seeing Kairi practically run for the exit.

Light followed behind Kairi and Sora, though she wasn't running like the two of them were. She casually walked past the upright Serah and gave her a look that conveyed the same warning Snow got. Watch your back, I'm going to get you for this. In all seriousness, she really was shaken by their prank, which made it a good prank, but still, she hated being caught off guard.

As soon as Kairi was out in the fresh air, she sighed, closing her eyes in relief. Finally, she was out of that dreadful place. She turned to look at Sora and Riku, the latter of two who was smirking. "I let you two do this to me every year," she said in disbelief. "You're lucky I still love you." She had to stop falling for this all the time.

Sora stepped forward, giving Kairi a kiss on her forehead. "You couldn't stop loving us even if you tried," he said sweetly. He and Riku were just too lovable, though Lightning would disagree if she realized that Riku saw the prank coming for her and didn't stop it. Oh well, he'd let her realize that in her own time.

Riku only smirked as Kairi silently pouted, her arms crossed over her red dress. He meanwhile turned to see Snow come out of the haunted house behind Lightning and Serah. "How'd you do that, anyway?" he asked. "Did you talk to the guy running this thing?"

Snow shook his head, still grinning in triumph. "No, we went in ahead of you guys," he explained. "We thought it'd be fun to scare Lightning, so we stuck around." The fake blood was something they found while trying to hide, which Serah used for her own part in the prank. He was proud of her, but it was all in good fun anyway.

Lightning scowled at both Snow and Serah. The latter caught sight of that expression and stepped back behind Snow, cowering behind him in good nature. Light obviously wasn't a physical threat, though Serah surely was afraid that Lightning was going to have some kind of revenge on the two of them.

Riku chuckled softly, then looking to Lightning. He shrugged. "I never thought I'd hear you scream, Light," he said jokingly. "That was close enough." Of course, he didn't like the sound, but since it was under good circumstances, he would be okay with it. It wasn't like anyone got hurt...well, except for Snow.

Lightning looked over at Riku, her scowl softening but remaining mostly in tact. "Don't group yourself with them," she suggested to him. "You won't like my paybacks." She was definitely going to return the favor to Snow and Serah for their prank...somehow. She needed some time to think about it before she decided what to do.

Riku approached Lightning and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Relax," he told her again. It wasn't that big of a deal, right? It was just some harmless fun. It was what Halloween was all about. Then again, Lightning had never been to one of these festivals before, so she wouldn't really know.

Light softened, sighing quietly as she was thankful Serah distracted Snow and Sora and Kairi were having their own banter. She felt bad now that she was acting this way; she didn't mean to take things too far. Like she told Riku a hundred times, she didn't have fun during her childhood. Sometimes it was hard to have fun even now, and admitting that through her actions made her feel stupid. That was part of the reason her cheeks began to turn pink again.

"...There's a first time for everything, right?" Riku asked Lightning lowly, speaking only to her. The others were busy, and he guessed that was a good thing; Lightning needed privacy for a moment. From what he could remember, she had never been caught off guard like that before. It must have been hard to fathom.

Light lowered her head a bit, still ashamed of herself and her behavior. "Right," she simply agreed quietly. She didn't want to make a fool of herself any further, so she was just going to be like this, whatever this was like. Riku's arm around her shoulder combined with his words could have made her feel like a child, but instead, she felt like a clueless adult--something nobody wanted to be on Halloween.

Riku could see that what he was doing wasn't helping, and he looked to Sora and Kairi, who were cuddling up to each other. "...What's next?" he asked after a small silence. What were they going to do now? And where were Roxas and Naminé?

"Beats me," Sora shrugged casually, an arm draped over Kairi's shoulder like Riku's was over Lightning's. "You're the festival master, after all." He raised an eyebrow and smirked at his best friend, reminding him of just how much he loved this festival. He knew the whole schedule of special events by heart.

While Riku rolled his eyes at the jab, Kairi spotted several kids by the fountain eyeing their group. "Hey, guys," she said then. "I think you have some admirers." Sora and Riku were well-known around the Island for all they did to save it, and it made sense that they had people who looked up to them. They were role models, even if they didn't think so.

Riku followed Kairi's gaze to the group of children in their costumes, looking from each other to him and his group of friends. Admirers? An admirer of Riku? He didn't think that was even possible... No. Kairi was fibbing. They were probably just pointing at Snow's ridiculous costume.

Serah was confused at first about why Sora and Riku would have admirers, but then it clicked. "Oh yeah," she realized aloud. "Keyblade Masters." That was no small accomplishment, and from a world like this, everyone was sure to know and admire those who reached that status. All the kids watching them were adorable.

Kairi looked to Sora and Riku. "Well?" she prodded. When Riku gave her a look, she motioned to the kids. "Go talk to them!" Those kids were probably shy and starstruck, as odd as that was. Sora and Riku were heroes.

Riku lifted his free hand to rub the back of his neck. "Um..." He wasn't sure what to do. He never had anyone...admire him before.

Kairi smiled and shook her head, stepping out from underneath Sora's arm. She started toward the children, noticing a few who looked away when they noticed she was coming over. Well, if Sora and Riku wouldn't go to them, she would bring the kids over herself. They looked sweet enough, even if a few of them were dressed as Heartless or a Nobody. It was a cute contribution to the holiday.
