Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning looked from Riku to the kids, understanding that neither of them were going to move without some more encouragement. And since it was easier to convince star-struck kids to move than a six-foot tall Keyblader, Lightning stepped out from underneath Riku's arm and started towards the kids. "Don't worry," she said, kneeling down to some of the Heartless children. "They ask everyone to be their friends on Halloween, even Heartless."

Kairi had already bent down to talk to the children, and she smiled over at Lightning when she heard what she had to say. "Nobodies too," she said, tapping the head of a child dressed as a Dusk. "Roxas would too, if he was here."

"Aww, Roxas isn't here?!" a little boy whined. "He's my favorite! He can wield two Keyblades!" The boy held up two fingers for Kairi to see, and she nodded.

"Yes, he can. And he's very good at it too," she said in agreement. "He's here somewhere. Naminé's with him."

"Naminé too!?" A little girl jumped up and down. "She's so pretty. I hope I get to meet her!"

"You will. I'm sure she'd like to say hi," Kairi assured the little girl. Naminé would love these little kids if she was around.

"Princess Kairi!" A little girl ran over to join the group of kids, smiling from ear to ear. "Princess Kairi, it's you!"

Lightning gently ushered a pack of kids over to Riku, her kids more quiet and reserved as they slowly trudged towards him. Lightning thought she was okay with kids, but she knew she wasn't nearly as good as Sora or Kairi were. She didn't really mind it though; even with that, she still raised Serah to be a decent human being.

Riku saw that Lightning was bringing kids over while Kairi was occupied with her own. He glanced over at Sora before taking a few steps forward to meet the kids. They were all pretty quiet, and a few little boys shied away at the sight of him. "Hey, guys," he said, kneeling down to be at their level. "I'm Riku."

"You're not dressed in your outfit," a little boy chimed. The pictures of Riku he'd seen had him in the vest and jeans.

Riku looked down at his clothes and smiled crookedly. "No, I'm not. But that's because I'm in costume, a lot like you guys. I didn't come as myself this year. I get to be that every day."

"Cool!"

Riku's smile remained as he gazed at the kids, some of them dressed like Shadows. It was...cute, and so were the kids Kairi was leading over.

Lightning smiled in amusement at Riku and the kids, having previously forgotten how great he was with kids. She watched him interact with kids in a daycare before and he was great. He'll make a good father. In the middle of that train of though, Lightning felt somebody hesitantly touch her arm. She looked over and blinked when she saw two girls--one maybe ten and the other seven. "Hi," she said, bending down a little bit so she could see them both clearly.

"You're Lightning, right?" the younger one asked.

"Yeah," Lightning nodded, though she was confused for a brief moment. She wasn't famous. Or at least, that was what she thought.

The younger girl tugged at the older's arm. "My sister tells me bedtime stories about you," she said. "About how brave you are and how you never give up and how you take care of your sister."

Kairi took her batch of boys and girls over to her husband, smiling softly. She knew Sora was great with kids, as shown earlier that evening, but she hoped he was ready for some wild ones. While Riku's admirers were more timid, Sora's were just like him: rambunctious.

Sora hardly noticed all the other conversations going on around him; Riku had his own fanclub, Lightning had two girls drawn to her, and Kairi kept dragging more and more kids over to him. He was telling stories of how he traveled the seven seas with Captain Jack Sparrow and became an honorary pirate, though he may have exaggerated some of the details.

Roxas walked hand-in-hand with Naminé, spotting his group of friends after a moment. And they were surrounded by kids. "What's going on over there?" he asked his wife-to-be. Why were all those little kids around Sora, Kairi, Riku and Lightning? Was it their costumes?

Namine smiled faintly at the sight of all the cute children huddled around her friends. That, and Sora's animated movements made her nearly laugh to herself. Instead, she just gave Roxas's hand a light squeeze. "They're famous, remember," she told him. Most of the time, the residents of the Islands were very respectful towards the privacy of the Keyblade wielders, but it was cases like this where kids were able to finally meet their heroes where things couldn't help but turn out this way.

"Oh yeah," Roxas said with a small smile. He remembered now; Keyblade Masters, Princess of Heart, and Warrior of the Goddess. Sora, Riku, Kairi, and Lightning. Roxas stopped a little bit away, watching Sora's movements as he talked about Captain Jack. Of course he would, given his costume.

Namine noticed a few kids of Sora's get distracted, not because of his story-telling, but because their eyes had naturally wandered. "And you're famous too," she reminded him, gently slipping her hand out of his. She gave him a light push forward as a kid excitedly exclaimed that Roxas had arrived. The kid attracted the attention of others and his actions encouraged them all to run over towards the Nobody who became a Somebody.

"Uh..." Roxas said, lifting a hand to rub the back of his neck. He glanced back at Naminé in uncertainty. He was famous? He guessed so, but everyone else was more known than he was. He turned back around to face the kids, seeing a few jump up and down.

"Roxas! You're actually here! Princess Kairi was right!" a boy exclaimed.

"Kairi told you about me?" Roxas asked, looking down at the boy, and he nodded enthusiastically while another spoke up.

"She didn't have to tell us! We already knew who you were! The coolest Nobody ever!"

Roxas chuckled at the words, not finding them entirely true but appreciating them nonetheless. "I spot a few Nobodies among you guys, too," he said, bending down slightly to be at their level. "A Dusk, a Dancer, and my personal favorite, a Samurai." The Samurai were the Nobodies he controlled in the Organization, and the little one dressed as the breed jumped up and down in glee.

Namine chuckled to herself, hearing Sora whine in disappointment that he lost some members of his crowd. Nevertheless, he picked up on his story and Namine continued to watch Roxas interact with the children. He was always good with kids, but that was to be expected from Sora's Nobody. But Roxas was an individual with how he interacted with them; he was much more calm than Sora was.

"...But let me tell you a secret," Roxas said, motioning for the kids to come closer. They stepped forward and he whispered lowly. "I'm a special Nobody; I gained my own heart. But you see...when you have a heart, you gain the ability to love." One kid made a sound of disgust at the word, which caused Roxas to chuckle. "That girl over there," he said, pointing over his shoulder with his thumb. "Her name's Naminé. She's a special Nobody, too, just like me. And we're in love."

Many kids exclaimed numerous "eww"s at the confession, but one little girl found herself getting excited. "That is Naminé, isn't it?"

Roxas nodded. "She's the sweetest Nobody of them all." He jerked his head toward his fiancée. "Why don't you go say hi? I'm sure she'd love to meet you." At his suggestion, the little girl understood and approached Naminé with both nervousness and excitement. Roxas silently watched as the kids in front of him talked amongst themselves for the moment. Naminé had her own admirer.

Namine blushed at Roxas's words, and how he sent a girl over to her. She had to admit that she was surprised that anybody knew who she was, but that was a topic for another day. She knelt down and said hello to the shy child, keeping her own voice gentle as always so she didn't scare the poor thing away. She wasn't a celebrity talking to a fan; she was just Namine talking to a little girl.

Kairi talked to a few girls who admired her as well, giggling softly at the things they were saying. "Thank you, that's very sweet," she said with a small nod. "I see one of you is dressed like me?" When the little girl nodded, her red wig bobbing with the movement, Kairi smiled. "Do you want a picture? I wouldn't mind. It's not every day I see someone who looks like me." The girl nodded and ran to get her mother, an action which caused Kairi to chuckle, but it seemed that she created another bustle of excitement. Her eyes widened when kids started claiming they wanted pictures, even with Sora and Riku when they heard. She blushed, looking to her friends sheepishly. Whoops.

Sora heard a flurry of requests for pictures, and he knew the person who was responsible for it. "Way to go, Kai," he jokingly scolded, speaking through his heart so that none of the children would misinterpret the words and think that they weren't allowed pictures. This was going to be a big mess now, but that was okay.

Kairi heard the words and saw Riku's look, and her eyes widened. "I'm sorry!" she said over the cheers of excitement. She was just being nice! And besides, she knew Sora and Riku secretly loved this. They had to enjoy this kind of attention, at least a little.

Sora lifted his gaze to Riku, catching is unpleasant expression. From what he remembered, Riku wasn't really a picture kind of guy. "You want to escape?" he asked his best friend. He could pick Kairi up and run away from the kids before all the cameras came out of he needed to, and he could do the same to Lightning.

"No, don't go!" A little boy came over and gripped Riku's arm, his big brown eyes looking up at the young man in desperation. "Please?!"

Riku never was much of a softy, except around Lightning, but now that he had a little kid practically begging him to stay, he had to give in. He looked over at Sora and shook his head. "Looks like I'm not going anywhere," he said. He would give these kids what they wanted.

Sora looked over at Kairi, catching the look of warning that she sent him. "Yeah," he agreed. "Me neither." He couldn't just run away from a pack of kids, though he did want to spend the rest of the night having fun like a regular person. So as the parents came over with their cameras and kids pleaded for pictures, Sora chased the thoughts away and put on his regular goofy persona.

Riku heard Kairi ask if anyone wanting a picture could form a line, one for each of them. Riku was surprised with how many got in line for him, but he wasn't the only one with a big line; Sora and Kairi had some too, though Kairi's were mostly girls or little boys with crushes. Roxas had even been dragged over to get a few pictures as well, since he had a bit of a line as well. Oh boy...

Namine and Lightning sat to the side on a nearby bench, watching all four lines with amusement. Their boys had been dragged away for photos, so they didn't have anything to do. The children they had been talking to didn't have an interest in photos, so they walked away a few minutes ago with their parents. Both of them were probably relieved. Namine knew that she was; she enjoyed being behind the camera snapping pictures more than being in the center of one.

"Hey buddy," Riku said to the first little boy, seeing him look away in shyness. Riku simply knelt down and put his hand on the boy's shoulder as he looked to the boy's mother, who held the camera. He put on his famous crooked smile and gazed at the camera, seeing the flash of a light as the picture was taken. He was about to tell the little guy bye before he turned back to Riku and held out a piece of paper.

"Autograph? Please?" the little boy asked.

Riku released a small "hmph" in amusement, nodding. "Sure," he said, placing the piece of paper on his knee and taking the pen to write his signature. Once that was done, the little boy ran back to his mom with a grin. Riku remained on one knee, seeing the next little boy come up for a picture...and apparently another autograph.

Serah approached Namine and Lightning while they were sitting, taking in the view along with the two girls and her husband. "The problems of dating famous people," she mused. Snow was popular on Cocoon, but he wasn't anybody special here. And Lightning was also extraordinary back home because of all that she was. L'cie. Warrior of the Goddess. Destroyer of Valhalla. She was so famous some people questioned whether she really existed or if she was just a legend.
