Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Roxas took a few pictures as well, also signing some autographs. He didn't get as many as Sora, Riku, and Kairi though. But he smiled for the cameras regardless. It seemed like in addition to the haunted house and other festivities going on tonight, they were another attraction.

"Looks like they're finally done," Namine said after several minutes, seeing her famous friends finally get some breathing space. They had been holding a conversation between the four of them, and since Namine knew nothing about the haunted house, she didn't know Snow and Serah pranked Lightning. Lightning wasn't acting bitter at all now, which Serah and Snow were inwardly pleased with.

Kairi waved goodbye to the kids as they finally dispersed. "Bye!" she called with a smile. They were all so sweet... That was a first, and she doubted it would be the last. Anybody that missed their opportunity tonight would surely find a chance somewhere down the line. The group was usually present for other festivals thrown throughout the year. More photo ops would occur in the future, Kairi was sure.

Once the last kid ran off to his parents, Riku rose to his feet and ran a hand over his short hair. That took a while, but he didn't necessarily hate it. Actually...he kind of enjoyed it. It was nice to know that he was someone kids could look up to.

Namine walked over to Roxas when he was done, giving him a faint smile. "Told you you were famous," she said with a wink. She was just glad that she didn't get dragged into any of the photos; she would have felt so awkward. It was Roxas that the kids wanted, and she was perfectly okay with that.

Roxas rubbed a hand of the back of his neck, shrugging. "Not as famous as those three," he said, gesturing to Sora, Kairi, and Riku with a nod of his head. But he was perfectly okay with that. The fact that a Nobody had admirers was impressive...and flattering.

"Oh hush," Namine said, leaning up and giving Roxas a peck on the lips. She turned to look at the other three, smirking slightly at Kairi. "Look at what you started," she teased her sister. That took a good half hour, though Namine didn't mind spending that time with Lightning and her family. Even now that she was over here, Lightning was still with them and draped underneath Snow's brotherly arm.

"I was just being nice!" Kairi said in her defense, still standing in her spot next to Roxas. Riku was making his way over to Lightning, as expected. "Don't tell me you didn't enjoy it, Roxas." She could tell he liked the attention; same went for Riku and Sora.

"Fine, fine. It was nice, okay?" Roxas said, feigning exasperation. He chuckled a little. "But now I'm afraid some of us won't be able to leave the house without some attention." Usually their privacy was respected, something lovable of the Islands. But now...Roxas wasn't sure what would happen.

Sora clapped a hand on his Nobody's shoulder in reassurance. "They know it was a special thing," he said. "Halloween and all." With how profusely all the parents thanked them, he knew that they would give them space for a while. It made sense everyone would flock to them on a night like this though, when they were so easily accessible.

Roxas nodded in agreement. "Let's just hope they give us some space on the big day," he said, looking to Naminé. He was sure they would, considering Sora and Kairi's wedding was on the beach and nobody uninvited was in sight at the time. The Islands' people were respectful in that way.

"They will," Namine said easily, reaching to Roxas's hand and giving it a squeeze. "Don't worry." She was thinking of the same thing that he was: Sora and Kairi's wedding. They had it in a very open place where anybody could have showed up, but nobody uninvited came. The Islands were a perfect place to live because of how much they respected the heroes, except for maybe a few pranksters and jerky teenagers that Sora and Riku grew up with.

While Sora, Kairi, Roxas, and Naminé had their talk, Riku walked over to Lightning and her family. He walked in on the middle of their conversation, but he silently took a seat beside Lightning. He knocked Snow's arm quietly off her shoulder and replaced it with his. Snow sent him a playful glare, but Riku only smirked, letting Serah finish.

Serah smirked at Riku's actions and Snow's response, though she didn't verbally comment on it. She looked down at her watch, recalling that an event was going to start in just a few minutes. "There's something going on down on the beach soon," she said to the three she was speaking to. "Some kind of piggy-back race." She wasn't going to participate in it, but she wanted to go watch it. Maybe she could even convince Riku and Lightning to do the race.

Riku lifted an eyebrow at that. "Sounds like something Sora and Kairi would do," he said. He remembered them always challenging Roxas and Naminé to a race of the sort in the past. He had never done it, though.

"Maybe, but this one's got a twist," Serah smirked. "Instead of boyfriends carrying their girlfriends, girlfriends carry their boyfriends." She looked at Lightning, who raised an eyebrow in suspicion. She knew that Serah was trying to persuade her into the race, obviously. But she hadn't said no yet, so that was a good sign.

"Never mind then," Riku said with a small smirk. He glanced over at Sora and Kairi at the thought. Kairi had some muscle to her, but she wasn't that strong. After all Sora ate lately, he doubted she could carry her husband twenty feet.

  • Author

Riku was more dense than Lightning; he wasn't understanding what Serah was saying. Lightning was willing to correct that. "She's implying she wants us to run the race," she said, looking over at him as she sat underneath his arm. Out of everyone in their group, she was the only one strong enough to do this race.

Riku glanced over at Lightning before finding Serah. Snow was chuckling softly at Riku's cluelessness, but Riku's eyes found Lightning again. "....You don't sound like you hate the idea," he said, lifting an eyebrow. In fact, he thought maybe Lightning wanted to try. She was quick, and she was strong...but how fast could she move if she carried Riku?

"She won't admit anything either way," Serah filled in before Lightning could even speak. Knowing that her words were the truth, she stepped forward and grabbed her sister's hands. "You won't do it on your own, so do it for me. Pleeeeease?" she begged, seeing Lightning smirk in amusement.

"Oh fine," Lightning sighed, allowing Serah to yank her to her feet. She would do it for her sister, though a part of her did want to do it just for the heck of it.

Snow only smirked. "This should be good," he said. He then looked to Riku, who rose to his feet. Snow clapped him on the shoulder. "Don't get used to this, Riku. This is probably the only time this will happen." Lightning carrying Riku? This was a first.

Riku shrugged off Snow's hand. "Yeah, yeah," he said with a smile. He was interested to see how this would go exactly. He would probably laugh.

"C'mon, c'mon!" Serah said, yanking at Lightning's hands. "The race starts in less than ten minutes and it's down on the beach!" She figured it was in the well-lit area that was fairly nearby, but they had to hurry and get down there all the same. She released one of Lightning's hands but held onto the other as she forced her to jog, Serah far more excited about this race than Lightning herself was.

Riku laughed softly at Serah's urgency, and Lightning's compliance. Regardless, he and Snow followed the sisters' leads. Riku wasn't sure who they were going up against, but he had a feeling that they would win. No girl was a warrior like Lightning was; she would do the best.

Lightning, Serah, Riku and Snow showed up with about two minutes to spare thanks to Serah's pace. It wasn't extremely fast, but Lightning did feel like she was at a slight disadvantage as she caught her breath. She would have to run again in just a minute with over 160 pounds of extra weight while all the other girls here had boyfriends that were a lot shorter and less muscular. Nevertheless, she didn't intend to lose to any of them.

Riku stood next to Lightning at the starting line, glancing over to see that his friends were nowhere to be found. He was kind of glad, considering this could be humiliating. But then again, there wasn't much competition. He and Lightning had this in the bag.

"Ladies, pick up your boyfriends!" the referee of the race said. Even his voice showed that he was amused by the absurdity of this race. He, along with the other guys who came by to watch this race, knew that it was ridiculous to expect a girl to carry a boy all the way to the flag a hundred feet away. But it would be good for a laugh. He watched the six girls look to their boyfriends, his eyes skipping over the pink-haired girl in the cat outfit as she held out her hands behind her. She didn't look strong at all, and her boyfriend was big.

Riku fought the urge to laugh at the ridiculousness of this, but then he placed his hands on Lightning's shoulders and climbed on. He wrapped his arms around Lightning's upper torso, his arms much bigger than hers. But she was still strong. She could do this. "This is all you, babe," he said in her ear, smiling. She had this.
