Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Riku saw where one guy's hand was going, and just before it could reach its target, Riku grabbed the guy's wrist. "I don't think so," he said, meeting the boy's eyes. He then proceeded to bend his wrist backward, hearing the guy cry out in pain before Riku shoved him aside. Nobody touched Lightning there, ever. And as for the creep holding her face, Riku had a few choice words for him. He moved forward, grabbing the guy by his hair and pulling him away from Lightning, forcing him to the sand. Riku put his shoe to the guy's chest, the pressure against him far from light. In fact, Riku put as much pressure on him as he could without breaking anything.

Lightning looked down to check on her shirt, and thankfully nothing was undone there. When Riku grabbed the guy's hair, he had loosened his grip on Lightning's shirt so that he barely had a grasp on it at all when Riku threw him down. She looked at Riku, seeing the fresh fury on his face now. She brought a hand to her face, knowing that she caused this moment to unfold. "Don't kill him," Lightning said, stepping forward and setting the same hand on Riku's shoulder. "He's just a punk." He wasn't worth it.

"Hard not to," Riku said, putting more pressure on the guy's chest, "with the way he touched you." The guy beneath his foot groaned in pain, but Riku wasn't feeling sympathetic. In fact, he was all for the pain. This guy deserved it for what he did.

"Riku, you are going to kill him," Lightning hissed, looking down at the guy. Unfortunately for her, stupidity wasn't punishable by death. She tightened her grasp on his shoulder, another hand going to his chest as she pushed backwards on it. "Back up. It's over. Nobody's--" She suddenly stopped talking, interrupted when the guy from before suddenly grabbed her hair while she was distracted. She bit off a brief cry before she was thrown backwards in the sand, sliding a bit and landing at the feet of the other three guys who were back from the finish line.

Snow saw what was happening, and when Lightning got thrown back, he decided another helping hand was needed. "Stay here," he said to Serah, starting toward Riku, who took his foot off one guy's chest and marched over to the one who grabbed Lightning by her hair. It looked like Riku was about to throw a punch, and that was the last thing any of them needed tonight.

Lightning looked up just in time to see a foot coming down towards her face. She automatically lifted both of her hands and grasped the shoe, stopping it easily even with her poor position. Her next move didn't come so easily. She yanked the guy's foot and swung his entire leg around, his body sent flying as he collided with the one who yanked Lightning's hair.

Snow went ahead and approached the guy who was about to avenge his friends, one of the three who had made it back from the finish line. Just as he was about to kick Lightning, Snow tapped on his shoulder. The guy turned around, eyes widening at Snow's size. "Nuh-uh," Snow said with a shake of his head, then lifting the guy up and tossing him toward the water, which was quite a ways off. Snow's strength came in handy today.

One left, Lightning thought, rolling forward this time to avoid another foot that was coming at her. She stood and faced him, knowing that Riku was behind her but not knowing what he was doing or thinking. She wished Snow wouldn't have gotten mixed up in this; there was no need to worry Serah about a petty fight like this. Even now, she wasn't going to throw the first attack. If this last guy decided to come at her, she'd act in self defense.

Riku had already dealt a few punches to the guy that pulled Lightning's hair, and after one more solid slug, the guy collapsed to the ground and groaned in pain. Good, now that he was out of the way... Riku turned, his eyes finding the last guy standing. Well, that wouldn't last long. Riku marched forward, hands in tight fists by his side. This one was going down, just like his friends.

Lightning glanced over her shoulder at Riku, seeing him stepping towards the final guy. Her eyes widened briefly as she stepped in front of him, her arms extending out by her sides. "It's enough," she said lowly, seeing the other guy bloodied on the ground. He was the one who didn't want this fight to happen in the first place; there was no need for him to keep it going.

Riku stopped when Lightning stood in front of him, but he saw the guy behind her coming toward her. "Snow," he practically growled, seeing the man heeding his warning and stepping forward to grab the last one and telling him to buzz off. Glancing from Snow to Riku's angry eyes, the guy understood and fled the scene.

Lightning saw one of the girlfriends from earlier approach, walking from behind Riku. She imagined that she was coming to apologize for her idiotic boyfriend's actions, but Lightning suddenly saw her dark intentions when she began to curl a hand into a fist and raise it at Riku's back. Instead of simply warning him about it, she skillfully stepped around him, catching the fist in mid-flight. You've got to be kidding me. What kind of an idiot would attack Riku after all he just did?

Riku turned when Lightning stepped behind him, and upon seeing what was just about to occur, he lifted a hand to the bridge of his nose and sighed. "Seriously?" he murmured in annoyance. Some stupid girl was going to attack him outright? He was a Keyblade Master. He just took down her boyfriend (whichever one she was) without a problem. So she thought she could take him out? Stupid.

"That wasn't your smartest move," Lightning said, pressing the girl's fist back ever so slightly. To avoid having it snap, she began to walk backwards, but Light only followed her. "If your boyfriend is one of the bruised and battered here, grab him and go." She wasn't going to have the patience for this. But in the mean time, the other four girls were approaching. Again Light hoped for the best; she hoped they were coming to apologize for the actions of others. But they weren't.

Riku opened his eyes and lowered his hand when he heard more footsteps, and that was when he saw other girls approaching. And they were going for Lightning. At that moment, the last thing they needed was another fight. Riku headed forward and caught two girls by their waists, holding them back as they hollered in protest. "Snow!" he cried over their shouts. He had to get the other two.

Snow sighed at the stupidity of this situation and approached the other two, catching one by the arm and another by the waist like Riku. "Not so fast, ladies," he said. His strength would once again prove useful.

Though Snow told her to stay where she was, Serah disobeyed. She walked forward among the chaos of the girls being restrained and guys on the ground and grabbed Lightning's arm, beginning to drag her away. "If you leave, the fight will end," she told her elder sister. It was Lightning that the girls were after, not Riku or Snow. So if she left and they couldn't follow, they'd be forced to forget the fight.

"Let me go, you idiot!"

Riku simply ignored the cry and prayed Serah's words would get through to Lightning. If she walked away, this would be over. Now was as good a time as any, because frankly, Riku was tired of all this nonsense. He just wanted to get back to the festival and forget this happened.

Serah dragged Lightning further down the beach, not towards the festival. Lightning may have been a mystery to some, but Serah understood her well. Light needed some time away from people before she would be ready to go back to the festival. Once they walked far away enough that everyone was well out of sight, Serah released her sister's arm and forced a hug on her. Though Lightning was surprised, she accepted the hug.

Riku finally released the girls, their squirming more annoying than helpful to their cause. They glared at him in disgust, but his eyes weren't so polite either. Regardless, they wandered off to tend to their hurt boyfriends, and their wounded egos. Snow let his captives go as well, walking over to Riku and clasping him on the shoulder. The man mentioned they needed to give Serah and Lightning some space, but Riku knew that right now he needed to be with Lightning. After something like this, she was the only person he needed.

Serah left Lightning alone and walked back in the direction that she came from. Halfway back, she met Snow and Riku. She didn't bother saying any words to either of them. All she did was step over and grab Snow's hand to stop him from going any further. They did what they could, but since this conflict revolved around her and Riku, Lightning only needed him at the moment.

Riku briefly glanced over his shoulder when Snow didn't tag along, and he felt that Serah understood that Riku and Lightning needed to be alone. With that in mind, Riku found Lightning not too far off. She was standing near the bottom of a cliff, the waves washing in nearby. It was quiet and secluded, just what they needed.

Lightning noticed Riku coming out of the corner of her eye, but she didn't lift her gaze to him. She leaned back against the jagged cliff wall and kept her arms folded across her chest, eyes lowered to her feet. Obviously she had a lot on her mind, but mostly, she felt guilty.

Riku saw Lightning's position, and even from where he was, he could tell she felt defeated. Why? She didn't do anything wrong... Instead of stopping, like he probably should have, Riku walked right up to Lightning and brought her into his arms, eyes closing as he held her to his chest. He just...needed this.

Light's eyes widened at the sudden embrace and the gentleness of it. A part of her had expected that Riku was mad at her. She was the one who took the challenge and got them into that stupid rematch. She was the one that taunted those guys and triggered an attack. It was her fault that Riku wasn't happy now...Despite her thoughts, she leaned into Riku's embrace, though she couldn't bring herself to hug him back.

"...You're not hurt, are you?" Riku asked after a moment of silence. Lightning didn't return his gesture, but he continued to hold her anyway. Her costume hadn't been ruined, and nobody touched her inappropriately (thanks to him), so was she hurt at all? He could cast a spell if she was, and console her if she felt ashamed or humiliated. There was no reason to be, though; those guys were just jerks.
