Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Light's hands that were previously on Riku's shoulders wrapped around his back, the young woman stepping even closer to him as she returned the kiss. Sometimes because of the height difference, she would place her feet atop of his so that it was a more natural height. She hardly focused on that right now though, only thinking about the feeling in her heart. This is...wow.

Riku continued to kiss Lightning, his arm wrapping around her waist as the other hand continued to rest on her cheek. He pulled away after a minute, having to because he was smiling so much. He and Lightning reached a whole new level in their relationship. He was ready to propose before, but this made it obvious: he had to do it soon.

Light withdrew a bit as well when Riku ended the kiss, a brief "hmph" of amusement leaving her lips. "Smiling too much to hold a kiss...what a goof." She kept her eyes closed, playing with the hair on the back of Riku's neck like she often did. Nothing felt more natural than this moment right here, no matter what led up to it.

Riku's smile turned crooked at the words, even if they weren't spoken. "I can make it up to you later, if you'd like," he teased lightly. He and Lightning hadn't had much time together since she returned. For a while she stayed with Serah; she just recently came to the Islands to stay with him. Romance was lacking, but he was planning on making it up to her somehow.

Light smiled, opening her eyes to look up at Riku. Somehow, she liked this conversation thing even more when she was looking into his eyes. "Oh yeah?" she taunted lightly. What did he have in mind? She knew that the festival was part of tonight's plans, and in fact, they probably should have been heading back to that soon.

Riku opened his eyes when he felt Lightning's gaze on him, his aquamarine orbs finding her blue. He nodded a little. "...It's a private session," he revealed with the same smirk. Romance and the like. After tonight's fun, he would dedicate his attention to Lightning only.

Light smirked, continuing to play with the spikes on the back of Riku's neck. "No Jasmine?" she asked, somewhat disappointed. She loved that dog of Riku's. And now that Riku's house was the only place they stayed on the islands, the dog was always there with them. She hardly minded most of the time.

Riku gave Lightning a look. Way to kill the mood, he thought toward her, though he made sure that didn't transfer. She knew what he was getting at: romance, just the two of them. When it came to things like that, Jazz could be a nuisance. But he loved the dog anyway.

Light chuckled. "No words?" she asked, finally using her real voice. She was still getting used to this whole silent communication thing, so she naturally shifted back to her audible voice when Riku didn't say anything to her at all.

"I didn't think they were necessary," Riku said, tucking back some of Lightning's hair. His look should have said enough, but he wasn't sure how to respond to her in the first place. Now that things were communicated internally, he didn't think words would be necessary between the two of them anymore. But that was unrealistic; they had to communicate outside of their hearts, despite how amazing it felt to do so.

"Not necessary," Lightning agreed, lifting one of her hands and grasping Riku's while it was still close to her face. "But you could have kept talking, you know." She wanted to hear more of his words in her heart, even if they were just small talk about the weather. Hearing him inside her was like nothing else she ever experienced.

Riku smirked. "My inner voice is quite charming," he said smoothly, playing on his costume again. Now that he thought about it, their friends were probably wondering where they were. They needed to head back soon, but they could spare a few more minutes. Riku appreciated the alone time, after everything. Especially their newest discovery.

"Much more charming than your cockiness," Light agreed, lowering the hand that she held onto. She gave it a squeeze as she started to walk, already sensing Riku's unspoken words in her heart. It was time for them to head back to the festival and to all their friends, even if the initial matter wasn't solved.

Riku chuckled, starting to walk with the woman he loved. "You're fond of me anyway," he said, his eyes darting from the gentle waves to Lightning. Before they declared their love, and even after, they claimed their feelings for each other through fondness. It was intimate and special to the both of them.

  • Author

"Somehow," Light agreed with the same smirk. Of course she was just teasing Riku; there was plenty to be fond of with him. He truly was charming, intelligent, brave, loyal, caring...Everything she could have wanted in a man, though she could have done without some of his stubbornness and pride. Oh well. Nobody's perfect.

Riku only smiled, lifting Lightning's hand to his lips and giving it a small kiss. "I'm fond of you, either way," he told her, lowering her hand as they walked. Whether she was fond of him or not, he would always have a fondness towards her. It had always been that way.

Lightning hummed a response, giving Riku's hand another gentle squeeze. There were lights of the town up ahead, since they never were extremely far away in the first place. But being alone with Riku and discovering this...there was one other situation where they felt intimate like this, and she remembered it fondly. "Wait," she said, suddenly stopping.

Riku stopped a small step ahead of Lightning, and he turned to face her. He kept his grip on her hand, though his eyebrows did furrow in confusion. "What?" he asked softly. Why'd they stop? He couldn't imagine anything being wrong.

Light smiled gently, grabbing Riku's other hand and setting it on her waist. "I want to try something," she said softly, setting her free hand on his shoulder. Maybe she would look like a fool for this, but she was really curious about how far this heart communication would go, so it was worth figuring out now while they were thinking about it.

Riku's eyebrows lifted, but he smiled all the same. "Alright," he said in agreement, not that he could really refuse. He had his hand on Lightning's waist like she had it, his other still gripping hers. He was curious as to what she was doing, but he would wait to find out.

Light's small smile stayed for a moment, though it faded as she shut her eyes and concentrated. Some of her most intimate moments with Riku were the moments when they were in each other's arms, dancing. And she wondered if she could play a song in her heart and he would hear it. Granted, she didn't listen to music as much as Serah did, but she knew a few good songs to dance to, even if they were just instrumental piano songs. The notes resonated in her heart and her head, and all she could do was hope that Riku heard and felt their warmth as well.

Riku stiffened slightly, unable to help it in his surprise. He heard...music in his head. How was that even possible? Riku's aquamarine eyes widened as he gazed at Lightning, trying to figure out how exactly she was doing this. But then he found his heart warming, the music reaching his very core, as well as Lightning's love. She wanted to dance...didn't she?

It's not working, is it? Light thought, eyebrows furrowing slightly in concentration. No. I just need to focus for another minute. It'll get through... She was too determined for it not to reach Riku. She still had her eyes shut so that she could focus, so she didn't see that he registered the music and the request that came with its existence.

Riku saw Lightning concentrating, but only because she didn't know that he received her request. He smiled slightly and started to lead her in the dancing, hearing the music and swaying gently to it. He didn't know this was possible, but he liked it all the same.

Lightning was so focused on trying to remember the song perfectly that she didn't even notice Riku begin swaying. All she was aware of was that she was remembering the song the best she could and transferring it how she thought she was supposed to, and that Riku was being silent. "...Sorry," she said quietly, eyebrows furrowing slightly as she kept her eyes shut. "It didn't work." Or so she thought.
